"I ordered an item to be picked up at a local Talbots. The item said it was available in the store, but order was cancelled without any notification. I only realized because it was pending on my credit card and then disappeared. It was never notified so I did not have an option to have it shipped. The customer service helped me with this problem, but it took awhile. (15 min on phone). When an order becomes unavailable a notification should be sent"

"I received someone else’s order. The rep canceled my order and reordered it for me. I have not yet received it but hoping the issue is resolved. She sent me a label to return the order that was not mine. She was pleasant and professional and given that I had never encountered a similar situation, despite being a prolific online shopper, I found her to be reassuring. Of course, if I don’t receive my order, my answers will be different! Thank you!"

"The reason why I called customer service is because I ordered online and Talbots sent the wrong item. I pay a lot because I live in Canada so I also pay duty so a little frustrating. I returned the wrong item to the store in Canada but due to the exchange rate I was given less than what I paid for online."

"Your online system is not working properly. Although I provided mu email and full profile, and even applied for a Talbots Card which was approved - the system did not identify me. so I could not see the items in my orders. So I could return some that did not work. I made an over$2000 order, plus smaller ones after. None could be traced. Only the agents could. 3 agents with which I spoke could not help."

"I used a reward to purchase something and they charged me on my billl. Associate said there was something wrong but because I didn’t have a confirmation # on my order she couldn’t help me. So I am stuck paying for something that I used a reward for. Talbots has really gone done hill. This isn’t the only hassle I have had if late. Terrible. Doesn’t anyone audit your billing? It’s was a small purchase but it’s the point of the matter. One of your billers screwed up and I get stuck with their mistake?"
