"In the middle of November, I placed an order for 2 reasons—price and availability. After waiting 2 weeks, I received the wrong item. I called Talbots Service and asked for an exchange for the right item. The phone associate did his best but as of today, Dec 9, I have not received the correct item (even though I returned the wrong item Nov 29th). In addition, I was given a credit for $9 less than I paid for the original item—I assume to cover shipping of the newly corrected item? It was not my fault that I had to re-order. I feel I should have received the correct item at the same price as I originally bought it for and it should have been shipped priority mail for free."

"Appreciate reaching a live representative and relatively quickly. I will say that when I first called, I chose the order prompt and received what I assume was a rep from out of the country. When they learned of my reason for calling, they said I would have to speak with customer service and then transferred me but no one ever picked up. So I called back and selected return prompt (I think) and opted for a representative and that is when I reached the person who helped me with the exchange."
