"I had a horrible experience at the store- Germantown, TN. I ordered 2 pair pants online & paid for them. I’m a flight attendant, was out of town & When I got home, I realize the manager Rebecca? had put them back on the shelf. I told her I paid for them in full and was ready to pick them up. She argued with me, told me “that’s not possible”, “ You don’t understand banking, that’s called pending!” She called me everything but stupid and ignorant… I had her on Speakerphone and the adults around me could not believe her verbiage. She spoke to me so nasty, Extremely rude., & insulting. I’m a 60 yr old woman… When I called the 800 number I spoke to Rukiya. The most kind, understanding, patient Customer service person I’ve ever spoken to. I explained the situation and she said 100% every single thing I mention was correct. She is a GEM and a great employee for Talbots! A true asset! Thanks to her I will continue to shop Talbots thru 800 number."

"The experience was fine, but I was unable to exchange the item which was too large. It still has the tags on its and has never been worn. I was told my time to return or exchange had expired. Our local Talbot store just closed on October 26. I had to purchase a second identical top so that I can wear the outfit and I am left with a top I can’t wear. As a rewards member I should be allowed to exchange an item if it is still available."
