"I made my choices from the catalogue that I receive monthly. First, I tried to order in Canada where I live but the colour I wanted was not available here. Ordering from the US went very well and the package arrived in excellent time, however I had to pay an extra $114.00 to cover taxes and duty on the goods sent over the border. I would hesitate to do that again. Is there any way to avoid this problem.? If I could place an order in my store here in Ottawa and then have the order filled by the store,I would then pick up the order here paying the appropriate Canadian prices and taxes. I am sure all Canadian customers of Talbots would appreciate this solution!!."

"The person on the phone was insistent that I could not change my password using the Website on the phone and did not know how to resolve my problem which remains unresolved. He insisted on placing my order over the phone instead of helping login to the website. When I reviewed the order on email, the zip code was wrong and it was not even in use by the postal service. I had to call a second time to get it changed before it was shipped out. The second representative was helpful and resolved the problem quickly. I still can’t use the website!"
