"I spent approx 30 min on the phone - 2 calls bc the 1st call hung up after 10 min! only to be told I should not worry about my package arriving in time for my trip it was arriving today, Saturday when the tracking showed it had not shipped yet! I purchased the item on August 30th and the item had not shipped on September 5th? I ordered over the phone and asked the Customer Service Rep if it would arrive in a week because I needed it for my trip on September 10th. I wanted to reorder and have it expedited to get here in time. The rep argued with me and said it would be here today. I said it has not been sent yet and I would like to speak to a supervisor. I was put on hold and then told no supervisor it would be here Saturday. I said what happens it does not arrive on Saturday, he told me to call back?!?! Well it is Saturday and it did NOT arrive? Tracking indicates Monday at 7pm. I will now be scrambling for another cape or coat for my trip. This was totally avoidable by Talbots! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! I placed orders from six other retailers all on the same day, none were expedited and ALL arrived by yesterday! I will be spending my money with them going forward. I have been a long time Customer and continue to receive no customer service on the phone. I am done! BTW my employment status has no bearing on this communication. All Customers should be treated equally!"

"The representative did a fine job. I will not order final sale items any longer because the sizing has changed over the past couple years. My normal size seems to run larger now. Also I made a mistake when ordering my online order and cannot return items. This last order may have convinced me not to buy from Talbots again. I have wasted money on items I cannot even wear. I thought I could give to my sister but she is too small to fit in clothes as well. Disappointing and I wish I never placed order."
