Went to Techmole:
"ATI RADEON 9000 PRO 64MB TV DVI OEM, Our Price: $ 84.70, Model: 100-433001, Manufacturer: ATI, 3-year limited warranty"
$84.70!!!! I called Techmole sales and they said their advertised price was in error and they wouldn't honor it.
So, I ordered two, "ATI RADEON 9000 PRO 128MB TV OEM, Our Price: $85.80, Model: 100545, Manufacturer: ATI, 3-year limited warranty", because they were only $1.10 more than the 64 meg version.
I received a 'SAPPHIRE' Radeon 9000 PRO and an 'ATI' Radeon 9000. I called Techmole sales and they assured me REPEATEDLY that ATI was the manufacturer of the board, the warranty was 3 years and that the name 'Sapphire' was used by 'ATI' to distribute the OEM version of their ATI 9000 PRO. Techmole replaced the ATI 9000 with another Sapphire Radeon 9000 PRO and all was well....... for about two months.
By that time, one board had developed a very noisy fan and the other board started displaying corrupt graphics, enough to make it unusable. I contacted Techmole and was instructed to contact ATI for service under the three year warranty. I contacted ATI with the board info and was informed that they were NOT 'ATI' products but instead, were 'Sapphire' products.
I contacted Sapphire tech support. They told me to contact the vendor for their RMA procedure. I contacted Techmole again and spoke to the "new" RMA manager. I explained all that had transpired, and he pretty much told me, tough break.... Techmole's warranty is 30 days, contact ATI.
Oh, swell!

Placed order online on 12-02-03
Called on 12-09-03 for an update status check. Ooppss. We missed that for a couple of days. It will ship today. Ended up recieving the order on 12-11-03. MB, 2.4GhzCPU, 512Mb DDR, FX5600 video. Not chicken feed by any stretch of the imagination.
All went together well. 12-12-03 started load of operating system. Video starts flaking out very badly. Obvious video problem. System due next day. Go to local chain. Buy slightly higher priced video card. system delivered for no gain.
Get RMA to return flakey video card. Advised that I will get hit for a 15% restocking fee.
I've had too many issues with defective hardware from these people to continue. 50% of my orders have had a doa item. MB, hda, video card. Too many for me."
"I ordered an ATI AiW 9800 Pro on 7/24/03. I received an e-mail from them on 7/25/03 thanking me for my order. On 7/30/03, I called them to ask about my order since I hadn't received a shipping confirmation e-mail. The Service Rep. stated they were out of stock and would not be in for 1-2 weeks. When I told him the web site showed the item as being in stock, his response was that they must not have updated the web site yet. I canceled my order and went with another online site. They should have at least sent an e-mail stating they were out of stock and given me the option of canceling my order before charging my credit card. I will never order from them again."
"Techmole needs to get their order processing beefed up. An email should have been sent stating that the order was recieved and would be processed. I had to call the company just to see it the order was recieved and about what time to expect the shipment :-("
"I ordered a Radeon 9500 Pro OEM card, it arrived in 5 working days by ground shipping from IL to NY. Techmole sales was responsive to questions about the product by email. The product delivered was a "built by ATI" card, as advertised on the website. It worked fine, no complaints here."

I'm still waiting for a refund from an order to Knowledge Micro that was never delivered and has been at Knowledge Micro well over a month now.

"I ordered a couple motherboards, a case, and an OEM copy of XP Home from these guys with 3 day shipping. After a week, I call and ask where's my stuff and why haven't I recieved an e-mail or anything. The guy tells me that the case I ordered is backordered and that they were holding the rest of my order till it arrived. I explained that, "I needed those parts yesterday". He agreed to send it out 2 day air. I called back today to get a tracking number. HE NEVER HAD THE DAMNED MOTHERBOARDS IN STOCK AND CANT GET THEM! Did they bother to let me know?"
"Poor communication, in regards to ETA times and backordered items (which has been fixed). I tried to purchase a motherboard and CPU. No information on the order page or website stated that the motherboard was on back order until after I had placed my order. Because I was in a rush to get the motherboard, I had to cancel the order. The people on the phone were able to cancel it right then, and had no bad experience that way. The agent I talked to stated they they now show ETA's on their web site as well as if the item is in stock or not. The only bad dealing with this company has been the experience w/ the backordered/stocked item, and they resolved that issue now. They now feature ETA times as well as if the item is in stock or not. Their prices are very fair, and now that they have ETA's on their product page, this should never happen again.
I would suggest calling them at ***-***-**** after the order is placed, to verify stock, shipping date, or an ETA if needed."
