After wearing a few times and struggling with stability on the clay surface, my pro looked at the style of soles and informed me they were designed for hard court only. I am so disappointed as I only play clay now. An expensive misunderstanding. The shoes are very supportive and comfortable...just not the correct soles for clay. So, buyer beware! Purchase date showing 2020, but bought 6-3-19!"

"Given all the Tennis Channel adds recently for Tennis Express, I finally decided to the order the Lobster ball machine I have wanted through them rather than going directly to Lobster, though I understood Lobster would do the drop shipping from their warehousing.
Tennis Express website for orders indicates 3 days to process order and provide tracking information on orders; well, 7 days after my order, the status of my order on the website showed "in-process". I emailed customer service and they did respond indicating that I should be receiving notice of the shipment with tracking information; I did receive the notice, but no tracking info.
When I received the delivery, one item was back-ordered, with no provision of an expected fulfillment date, and I did not hear from Tennis Express any report of the back-order, which I think Lobster should have informed them, so they could inform me - that did not happen.
A week later, I still do not have the B/O item or any word on when I might receive it. I went on Tennis Express website to again check my order status -- can you believe it - the order is still showing as "in-process". Another email to customer service and I did get a prompt email and phone call advising that my B/O item is shipping. I did get shipping info and tracking this time. "

I contacted again and received many apologies with the promise of overnight shipping (even though it would be very late at this point). Finally I received notice it was shipping with two-day vs. the promised one-day shipping. I have never had a company repeatedly lie to me before. I will be using Tennis Warehouse from now on. "
"The strings on the racquets were not new so they broke after one use. Not a very good demo experience on that racquet. Tennis warehouse asks what type of strings is preferred and puts that type of string in the racquet. I will probably demo from tennis warehouse next time.

"The "Back in stock..." text is in small print, and I didn't notice it. I got an email shortly after my May 6th order saying my item was "on order from the manufacturer and is due to arrive in our warehouse" on May 13th. On May 18th I got an email that the item had been shipped, and an email from UPS saying it would be delivered May 24th, and then another, "update" email from UPS saying it would be delivered May 28th. On May 23rd I got yet another email from UPS saying it would be delivered the next day, which it was. So it took 12 days until my item was shipped, and 18 days for me to get my order delivered. If you want to honor your slogan "Order today and it ships today" (which I hear on the "Tennis NOW" website, you should make it obvious when an item is out of stock, by putting it in big print, and not just on the webpage for the item, but also on the webpage that has all of the items that you selected that item from, so if you're in a hurry, you don't have to go to the item's webpage to find out that it's out of stock..."
