"VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE: I ordered 1 ram cooler for $25.92 ($15.93 + $9.99 S/H) on 5/17, but they mistakenly sent me 2 coolers. THENERDS.NET made an UNAUTHORIZED charge to my account for the other memory cooler: $15.93 on 6/20. I emailed and asked for a shipping label to send the extra one back and they replied “Not a problem, I'm sending this to you now.” 17 days later and I still didn't receive the label and was forced to go thru my CC for a chargeback. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

"overcharged by $5. 2 (business) days later, called in for tracking to find that the item was out of stock - order canceled. had i not called, im not sure when i would have found out. not sure why i was charged for something they couldnt ship - no explanation offered. took 5 requests to get an invoice that matched the amount i was charged, rather than the amount i *should* have been charged. sent several email messages, NONE of which has ever been answered. average hold time for the 3 or 4 times i called: 15+ minutes. despite twice requesting it, no customer service credit has been offered. 7 (business) days later, i still have no refund for the canceled order - bank dispute filed today.

"I placed my order on a Saturday and cancelled within the hour through Google checkout and with several emails. There is no customer service over the weekend. I called and got a message saying that they would be open 9am Eastern time. They didn't answer until well after 10 and I was told that my order had shipped despite the cancellations. I have emailed several times since and every single email, including my original cancellations, has been ignored. AVOID this company."
"I ordered two(2) Omnimount twist LCD stands made for 13" to 26" LCD televisions on October 7, 2007. TheNerds.Net charged me only $34.74 for 2 stands and $10.60 for the shipping making a grand total of $45.34. That price for these two stands was less than almost every other site wanted for just one stand. I received both stands by FedEx on October 10, 2007 so they took 3 days to ship to me and this was counting Sunday and Monday which was Columbus Day and a holiday. I was really pleased with TheNerds.Net

"Excellent company. I ordered a Lacie 319 w/Colorimeter on 01-Aug-2007 and received 3 (business) days later. The company was easy to get ahold of by e-mail and phone before I made the purchase, and even contacted me to confirm my address prior to shipping.
It is my first purchase from the company, and I am completely satisfied -- the monitor arrived new-in-sealed-box, just as I expected.
I was worried by the mixed reviews on this site, but decided to give them a try when the BizRate.com reviews were positive and numbered in the 10000+ range, while this site has a much smaller number of reviews.
Overall, I was quite impressed by the company and extremely happy with the product. It arrived quickly (despite shipping cross-country), offered the most competitive price I could find for this product, had good customer support, and (most importantly) delivered a pristine product.

"I ordered a LCD stand from them but never received any tracking information until I track it on their website. Their website showed it was delivered and I signed for it a week ago. But I was never home on the day of the delivery, how could I signed for it? I've ask them to file a claim through the Fedex but they said it can't be done. I can't believe what I was hearing. Everything seems fishy about thenerds.net. Fecex could not provide any proof of signature since I was never home in the first place. I tried numerous time to contact thenerds.net but their phone never worked. It always gave me a busy or no signal. I'm very frustrated with this company. If you have any sense at all, please save yourself from all the headaches and shop with someone else. I will never shop at thenerds.net again. FRAUD ALERT!!!!!
Update: Very rude customer service, lied to me about claim forms being rejected by Fedex. Never respond to my emails for my order. This is the worst company ever on the net. I had to cancel my payment with my credit card company. "

"Didn't hear from the store for a week after placing the order. Sent a mail asking whether the CPU had shipped. Got one response from a store rep, Ben Weissman, saying that I should receive it in a couple of days. Got another response from the store saying that the product was not available and that my money would be refunded. Obviously they have no idea what they are doing. The store checkout still showed the CPU in stock.
Wouldn't waste time with these guys."
"I did receive the item I ordered, however the box had already been opened (no shrink wrap), the cables were just thrown in it, and the manufacture warranty information is missing. I also did not receive it with the factory defaults, someone had set it up to use AOL/DSL and was requiring a user name and password. I could not get to the web based setup until I reset it to the original factory default.
Why would I have to pay full price for a used product?
It will not let me return the item, I have yet to hear anything at all back from customer service and will never buy from them again. I'd rather pay a bit more and get better customer service and a new product than deal with a company like this."
"I tried to place an order for a GPS receiver. When I tried to log in my password would not work. Since I wasn't sure I had the right password I requested that they send me my password via email. After waiting 2 hours, I requested the password a second time.

The only 1/2 star was the package seems like refurbish inside. I look at the box careful, it seems like new cause seal looks new, owner's menu is new, and disc inside are all new. Only the plastic bags was not wrap with tape and the bags looks used, but it could be done due to factory packaging.. Who knows.... Well,
So I contact customer service asking whether if their product is used or not... They answer within a day saying yes...
I would still highly recommend this store since I have no problem at all and with the cheapest price I can find. Good customer service, and support although answers are short, but clear and loud.
