They did refund me 100% but I can only modify my review and can't erase it. I just wish they had been nicer, watched the way they talked to me and avoided insulting me before giving me my refund."

I found the Digital Hunter through Nextag! And was skeptical of their low, low pricing on a Nikon D7000 body and lense. Which was listed under $1,000. After researching Digital Hunter; although still skeptical, I placed an order via phone where I found the best deal. The sales rep was excellent! He offered me a package far better than the one listed online. The package was loaded with all kinds of benni's; which made me even more skeptical. Because that little voice kept telling me, "If it sounds too good to be true. It's probably too good to be true!" I placed the order and waited for the other shoe to fall. It never did!
I received my order within a week. Shipping was free by the way. It was like Christmas Day. Everything was well packaged and as advertised I got what I paid for. The reviews I'd read about the Digital Hunter were accurate. I wasn't disappointed at all. When the say; "Your Satisfaction is Guaranteed!" It's not hyperbole!"
" I just had a very mixed experience with this outfit, but with a good outcome. On 7/13/11 I ordered a Canon lens from them at a very attractive price. As expected, I was asked to call back to verify the order. When I did, they tried to sell me the "American Model." I declined. It seemed like they put the order in.
Three days later, when I checked the "My Account" section of their web site, my order showed that I still needed to verify. So I called them up again. The salesman said he would fix that error, but then, he said it would be 6 to 8 weeks for the lens to come over from the overseas warehouse. I said to them that they had never indicated it would take that long or that it would be anything other than the 12-15 day normal time. But I said that for the price, I was willing to wait. We finished the call and I put an note in my calendar to call them in September if I didn't have it.
10 minutes later, I received an email from them canceling the order. I immediately sent back an email saying I believed they never had the lens to offer. And I went on... While I was in the middle of writing back, I received an apologetic email saying the cancellation was an error, and that if I wanted, I'd have it in 14 days. I told them I'd be happy to wait. They are disorganized, but I believe they do deliver what they say they will. At these prices, that's pretty darned good.
UPDATE -- 7/22/2011 Nine days after all of the above, I have my lens. What to say. I had to stand my ground and make sure it was clear that I was only buying what I'd planned to buy -- what was in their ad. Then, they shipped me what I asked for, at the original quoted price. They came through. Ultimately, a good experience. Unbeatable price. It's got a Canon USA warranty card, too.

"Like many others, I saw an unbelievable price for a DSLR - the D7000. Called thedigitalhunter.com, confirmed the item was in stock and ordered it online. Got an email to 'verify my order' Sure enough, as many others had already posted I was informed that its an imported model that doesn't come with a battery or charger. Expecting this response, I went ahead and asked them to process my order without the charger and battery. The rep was obviously shaken up since he didn't expect me to buy a cam without battery, charger.
Anyways, when I asked for the tracking number, I was told the order will ship in 10-12 business days - and the shipping itself will take 'another' 10-15 days (since I elected for standard shipping)
The rep said - The order will be processed immediately, in a few minutes! Its been 3 days, and I haven't gotten my order confirmation email, call. And I don't know if I ever will."
"Went on the site found great reviews on google , great offers I knew I was getting a great deal but then when I added the item to my shopping cart ugly an additional 5% my order so shocked and happy I orders mire stuff , they have a super savings promotion where I got a free lens too !!
And believe it or not after they called me to verify my information the told me that that forgot a couple more coupon codes and added them for me , I ended up getting a second battery, meomry card, case , tripod all free,
I got my order today and everything was in there as promised !!

"They are bottom feeders. They offer a real low price, then you have to call and confirm your order. That is when they tell you that you can't get what you ordered for the price you were told.
I orders a D5100 Nikon, but from them it doesn't even come with a battery. They try to up sell you!!!
Their price complete was one of the highest I had found!
Now they keep calling me to remove my negative feedback.
This is not a reputable seller, I bought the camera from another on line seller that gave me a good price and didn't try to scam me."

"Be very carefull with this company. It had a great price, so I suspected something was too good to be true. They do have a policy of adding a 6% "insurance fee" to all orders. The price was still good, so I thought I could deal with that if that was "the catch". After ordering, the next day I get an email saying I must contact them to verify my order. When I call, they ask "you sure you don't want a battery or charger with that? Most people order one. Or do you already have them?" When I reply that all Canon cameras sold in the USA come with a battery and charger, their reply was "oh, this is an import model and it doesn't come with the battery and charger, didn't you see that on the specification page?" Well, I went back and looked and sure enough it was there. You could order the imported model, but it may not come with the USA warranty. They offered to sell me the USA model, but the price was no better than 50 other merchants and with their added 6%, they were higher. The only good thing - they didn't resist when I said I just wanted to cancel my order. "
