"I was cautious to purchase anything from this site due to the poor reviews, though I'm glad I took the chance because I couldn't be more satisfied with my order thus far. This is a Google trusted store. I do a lot of a online shopping, and being the frugal person that I am, I often come across "bargain" sites that may or may not be legitimate, so I'm a bit familiar with scam sites. So far I haven't ordered from any duds, and this site is no exception. I made a large order for wedding supplies...mostly disposable dining ware, cups, stirrers, even hot chocolate and sugar, as well as some baking/kitchen utensils. After placing the order, they'll provide you with an order number so that you can track its status. Because my order was so large, it had to be separated into several different shipments, which was listed with a shipping tracking number for each, and it will even list where your order is being shipped from (everything I ordered had been shipped from within the US). They'll also send general status updates to your email. I was surprised at how quickly the majority of my order arrived. Everything was well packed and in good condition. All items were accounted for and in perfect condition. I was impressed with the quality of everything, too. It's been just over a week now and I'm still waiting on the final pieces of my shipment, though according to the tracking number on the postal service's website, the delay is due to bad (icy) road conditions, so that's certainly not Webstaurant's fault. I'm in no rush, and I've already been so impressed with the speed of ground shipping for the other packages I've already received. I have 0 complaints about this company as of yet. I would certainly order from them again."
"Purchased some shoes as a Xmas gift for someone 12/17/16. Asked for an RMA return to exchange for a slight shoe size modification THREE days after Xmas - needed the shoe a half size smaller. THEY REFUSED TO EXCHANGE THEM!!!!! Who does that!!!!! You cannot stay in business if you refuse to help people get what they want. You should not sell clothing of ANY kind if you refuse to accommodate sizing adjustments after the sale. These people are ridiculous!!!! Buyer beware!"
"I ordered the Krampouze crepe maker from webstaurant and received a product that was already opened and used. When I received the machine the box that it arrived in came taped along the edges and looked like it had been in transit for years. When I opened the box I observed dirty fingerprints on the griddle area confirming that it had indeed already been opened. The prepackaged utensil carrier was also opened and previously tampered with. Once I tried using the crepe maker the temperature even set at its lowest was too high and hot to make any type of crepe. After speaking with customer service they assured me that the warehouse I received the product from did not sent out a used machine or anything that I described. Being a first time customer I found this very offensive for them to tell me that I was basically lying about what I just received. I never write reviews but based on my experience I will never purchase another product from webrestaurant in the future. I am returning the used product and receiving a refund after they are charging me a 30% restocking fee. I just had a learning experience about you get what you pay for when a company only cares about the money not the customer. Please be aware if you are purchasing anything from webrestsurant. I would shop around and even pay a little more with a company that can stand behind its customer and even more so it's product."

The WebstaurantStore sent me a defective item I tried to return it and they would take it. They try to stall you until the 30 day window closes. I finally got them to give me a return authorization number and I paid to have it shipped back to them. Now the will not refund the money."
"BE AWARE!! USPS does not pick up packages everyday from this facility and that includes business days. They have an empty trailer on their site which takes days to fill up and after that trailer is filled up...then they call for a pick up so your equipment can sit for two three or four days or more waiting for UPS to come pick it up without webrestaurant calling them to do so. They will tell you this is not true however the tracking information I have indicates my équipement sat ready for pickup at their warehouse for two and a half days before USPS was scheduled to pick it up. I lost a customer and future business and current business from the poor manner web restaurant handles their shipping. I've ordered twice from this company for my business. The first time there was a delay in shipping of about four or five business days. They are in Georgia and I am in Florida this just doesn't work for me as a businessman running a business where customers are depending on what I can provide for them with timelines that I get from webrestaurant. I ordered from them a second time because what I needed was on sale and had free shipping however it was a time-sensitive order. The equipment was ready for UPS pickup at 2:23 in the morning on December 6th. It took 65 hours to arrive at the local USPS Hub by the facility. Every piece of equipment I ordered was already in stock at the time I ordered it. I called Thursday spoke to somebody they said they will call me Friday morning never heard from them. Call back Friday afternoon spoke with somebody who said they had to speak with the original person from the day before and they would get back to me and I never heard from them either. Basically they have an empty trailer at warehouse on their property that they fill up with orders as they come in and when that trailer is full then they call shipping and shipping comes to pick up the trailer so my order was sitting there for two and a half days on their property waiting to be picked up waiting for web restaurant to call shipping company to come pick them up. There are in Georgia and I'm in Florida and it's taking 8 days now for them to get the equipment to me. God help you if you need something in a hurry from this company don't order from them unless you have a good 30 days lead time so you don't need the equipment before that time. Customer service may be polite but I'd rather them be rude and get something actually done for me. Sure they apologized but my customers don't care about apologies or excuses they expect results for the money they pay me. I run a business and I need results not a company that routinely waits several days to ship something out and then say it's not them it's everybody else."
"Having 2 restaurants I have ordered many things from webstaurant. Excellent selection, good prices, adequate delivery but if you have to return anything forget it. After you pay high shipping costs and their restocking fee you're at 50% and they're not at all accommodating. Also, paid high price for 2nd day shipping. Arrived 5 days later. I was told to pound salt as the fine print says, Saturday and Sunday don't count, putting in the order after 11a.m. puts it to the next day. So my Thursday order came tuesday. Whatever you can get from Amazon usually works out better"
"I am just a single person, a senior citizen, not a business. I ordered a butane burner which never arrived. The CS person checked with the carrier and offered to reship the item. In the interim I had added a bunch of small items to my cart which the CS person accommodated in the second shipment. 45 minutes later I called back as I realized that I had forgotten to add 2 final items that I wanted. The CS person also accommodated the addition of the last two items. The shipment arrived 36 hours later, complete, intact......everything was high quality, in fact, much higher quality than I had expected. I am sorry for the people that have left bad reviews on this site, that they had such a negative experience, but all I can give is praise for a job well done, products that far exceeded my expectations and pleasant and professional customer service people who went above and beyond the call of duty."
"Look, we're all human, so mistakes happen, I cant hold the entire the company responsible for the actions of someone in the warehouse, and it was a simple mistake like "item#123jar" vs "item#123jarfair", so I received a portion of my order incorrectly, I notified customer service immediately, and 5 minutes later had return labels in my email, 24hrs later the wrong product is being sent back and my correct order is underway. I'm very pleased with this experience, and everyone I had contact with during the process. "
"Ordered an item for $50. Cost $12+ to ship it.
Item did not fit our need and in order to return for refund,
it would cost us a return shipping fee of $12+ and a
30% restocking fee.
This left us with a total of a $32 refund with the $18 restocking
fee, minus the $12 shipping, with a grand total of $20. And,
of course, we spent $12 to ship it in the first place, so reduce
that to $8 back on $62 spent. We have decided to keep the item
(which we can not use as it is a sink part that doesn't fit), donate
it to Habitat for Humanity, and not bother rebooting and driving

"We are a business and placed an order for an equipment and realized we ordered a smaller equipment than we actually needed. So immediately after order placed which was Sunday, I sent an email and placed URGENT on it informing them that I need to order another item instead of the item placed. I got contacted via email stating its been placed and shipped although status states it's under processing! What do you mean? I literally just called and email and it was Sunday the day of ordering. After back and forth emailing, and them refusing to give me a supervisor, they said I could send back item once I receive it but id have to pay the 20% restocking fee!!! Really? For something I didn't even get? Then after another email and another rep, they said they would make an exception of waiving the fee but I'd have to purchase the other one. They demanded I pay the return label fee which again I didn't even get the damn item yet!!! What kind of business are you running? It's pathetic how you treat clients!!! They could have put a stop to the order as it was still not even processed!! In the last email, the lady stated that this is the last time she will offer this exception as I've had other exceptions in the past? Oh really? Not receiving an item is not a customers fault and when we called to complain they said we did receive it and that they would replace it with store credit!!! What kind of business does that??! Not getting our product is our right for a refund if we did not get it! You are not doing me a favor!! I will stop purchasing anything from this site!!! "Bought an item, item did not work as it should and they REFUSED to let me return it, refused. So I contacted the BB and my credit card company, who is refusing to pay them. I then returned it because unlike this piece of garbage company I do have ethics. "I order $25,000 of product maybe 40 pc total.
3 pc they ship and before I receive, I realize that I made a mistake.
When I told then that I didn't receive them diet and that I will spend all the credit they will give me.
They told me out of the $1,200 I will be charge 50% restocking fee so now I will get only $600 dollars then they also told me we will charge you to ship them back witch I believe is going to be $100.
So now I only get $500 back then once I will place an order from my credit they will charge me shipping to.
At the end of this long story I may get $400 from my $1200.

I track it and fed ex claiming that some one by name carrara got the package. When i call to customer service to have them trace to find it they refused to do it. I complaint with pay pal. "I ordered a $8,000 walk-in cooler and our General Contractor installed the walk-in component but not the cooling unit right away. Shortly after receiving the shipment we open the container which was holding the cooling unit and it was terribly damaged from the transit due to a poor packing job. I contacted customer service and because it was now within 5 days of receiving the unit they told me there was absolutely nothing I could do.
With that being said, I had to spend another $3,000 buying a cooling unit that worked. After spending tens of thousands with Webstaurant Store, you'd expect better customer service for an item they failed so deliver safely to me.
BEWARE! Work with somebody who appreciates your business and will go the extra mile when something is not right. THEY DID NOT and because of that I will now be bringing my business elsewhere. "
