"I am such a fool for not reviewing their ratings on here before ordering something $$ from them. I received a product that worked for 2 days. I contacted them before the 30 day return window closed and they said, "You opened it, so now you have to go through the manufacturer's warranty." That meant, I had to pay for it to be shipped to the manufacturer, and then paying for any repair costs. Awful-I should not have bought from them. They should've taken it back as a return from me and dealt with the manufacturer themselves."
"The table arrived with rips in the box, and was left by my mailbox with no pre-delivery call as was requested. There were dents on the sides of the table at the same level, giving the impression that something heavy enough to slightly bend the table was either on or against it during transport. The dents are very noticeable and the table is no longer a smooth flat surface as result. Several screws mounted from below have impressed upon the steel so that the indentations can be seen from above. As a result, the table lacks the quality and craftsmanship advertised and shipping was substandard. Further, when I notified them immediately of the problem (to their defense I did tell them that, "I have neither the time nor the energy to return the table") a representative responded with a 'generous' offer to refund 10% of the price - which they did. In turn, I said I would give a review that was 10% better than was originally intended - hence the rating of 2 instead of 1...as there was nothing in between. If looks matter to you and you lack the time and energy for returns, DO NOT BUY THIS TABLE!!!"
"Ordered their 2.5 gallon Core Beverage Dispensers because of the ice cores that were obviously supposed to come with the product because when I ordered them every picture of the item featured the core and in the Customer Q & A someone gives a tip about using the core and in the reviews someone references the quality of the core, not to mention that the product is called CORE Beverage Dispenser. When I complained, the company literally went to the trouble of changing the pictures of the item that showed the core to ones that did not and put a message underneath the main picture that says the core is not included, something that I would have obviously seen if it was there when I placed my order."

"I was very excited when I found out you carried the replacement to my 5 gallon beverage dispenser that I could not find anywhere anymore. I was quickly disappointed when it arrived poorly packaged and shattered beyond recognition! However, I do have to say that your staff was very helpful and agreed to send anotherone out immediately to replace the broken one, and they did do this, however the second one that arrived within a day was also shattered. I hesitated to try to order it a third time because I'm sure that if you're still using the same Shipping and Company, it would probably arrive shattered as well ! OnStar delivery did not deliver!I was home all day and parcel was left at door. When the box is lifted all you can her is shattered glass, possibly why the delivery didn't have the courtesy of knocking, it is obvious anyone handling the parcel could not avoid hearing tinkle of broken glass!!! I had hoped to order more products from you in the future because your catalog was something that I thought I could use in my catering, however I don't have any confidence in ordering from you, if I can't be confident that I will receive the products I ordered in good condition. I will say your Staff was very understanding and gladly agreed to reimburse my money, however I am still without the beverage container that I was looking very forward to receiving for summer. "When I ordered a Bunn grinder it as showed in-stock, it wasn't, it was backordered. Would have been helpful if their website was accurate on availability. When the $800 grinder arrived it was damaged. This has been a huge waste of time ordering equipment from Webstaurant. "I needed a couple of LONG handled spoons for cooking/canning and none of the retailers carry anything other than 'normal' 'home' utensils. I was told that I could probably find what I needed at Webstraurant.com. And I did. However. The page showing the thumbnails had several spoons that would suit my needs. But, they all looked alike, even using the exact same pictures and descriptions. But, different prices. I found one I liked the look of and the price. Until I ran the shipping for 2 spoons. GEEZ. A bit further down the listings I found the same spoon (I thought) with a vastly higher price. HUH? So I looked more carefully. Other than a brand name (I don't know 'commercial' brands!) and a note saying 'cheaper by the dozen', I found NO difference. As I said, exact same pictures, exact same description (other than brand name). I figured that it must be for a dozen of the spoons. Cool! I can always use extras, and the shipping was actually less than the other listing. WOW! So I ordered my 'dozen' (I thought) spoons.
The box from Webstaurant arrived yesterday. Gee, they must be flimsy spoons, the box is so light.... I paid 5 times the price of the cheaper spoon, for the exact SAME spoon with a different brand name. Gee, thanks.
I used the Chat feature (which you have to look for under 'contact us') and was told that the price and quantity was correct. I had purchased a 'vastly superior' spoon. Uh-huh. Including shipping, I paid $30 for ONE spoon. Lovely. I will not purchase ANYTHING from Webstraurant, and suggest that if you decide that you want something they have, research it, and find that Chat feature - nail down exactly WHAT you ordered and how much it will cost. I thing there must be other options other than people who have deceptive listings and then tell you, 'oh well'."

"Just moved our offices and our first order with this company. We are an ecommerce company ourselves. Ordered a commercial coffee maker and pots. Received it and the quality was not to par. Contacted them to exchange it or return it and order a more expensive unit. They said no exchange, returns only, 20% restocking fee. We argued and they said they'd make it 10%. Basically they are a "nickel and dime" operation so they are making about $16. on us and in return they lost a customer and got another bad review. Wish I had read all this before we bought from them. "

"Read the fine print and all the information before you order. I have ordered $1000 of dollars of items from them for my place of business and will now be taking that business elsewhere. It's worth paying a couple extra dollars for better customer service and the option to return. Many of the items ship directly from the manufacturer which makes returns a nightmare and very expensive$$$. You have to pay for return shipping and a 20% restock fee. I was told this is in order to keep costs down for the consumer. For me this means the WebstaurantStore is to cheap to stand behind the products they sell and accept responsibility when the customer isn't satisfied!"
"ordered an Oreck carpet sweeper, after charged for full 24 hours, suction is lousy and when lifting over door saddle all dirt and dust fell right out of the bottom. I called webstaurantstore.com customer service, waste of time.... told me I must call the manufacturer directly as they assume no responsibility for products and WILL NOT TAKE BACK. I call Oreck and was told I must bring to a service center (1 hour from my home) to see if they could fix it.....
