"You will be scammed. They won't let you cancel even if you do it seconds after you place the order. It's almost like has soon as you try to cancel they decide they shipped it. Even after you PAY to return the item you tried to cancel dont forget..they will still drag it on for months and won't give you the (majorly cut in half or less) refund back. They literally are a scam"

"I ordered umbrellas from California umbrella though the webstaurant site. I used them for three months and the hoist was defective on three out of nine. The umbrellas are now useless. I contacted Cal umbrella and they said tough we only have a three month warranty on RETAIL PRODUCTS. What thought I was being sold commercial grade ONLY THROUGH WEBSTAURANT. Not the case. After a number of chats I got 190 back, the value of one umbrella. Should have been given the full credit and they should not be selling retail products to commercial businesses. "

Since this claim was denied by the manufacturer, the refund that we offered you was an exception. The order number that you provided to us was just for one umbrella, which is why only one was refunded. The warranty is for three months from time of purchase and for use in commercial settings. This order was placed in July of 2021 and we were notified of the issue in March of 2022, which is outside of the warranty time frame. All items on our site are designed for use in commercial settings.

We did contact the manufacturer to see if they could stop the shipment, but it had already left their location. On the item page you will see "We cannot guarantee that this item can be cancelled off of the order or returned once it is placed."
The reason that we charge a restocking fee is to keep costs, and ultimately our prices, down for our customers. When you buy from a company that has no restocking fees, you pay for returns that the company handles, indirectly, through higher prices. There are a lot of costs associated with processing an order, as well as returning an order. Most companies do build it into their initial pricing, but we try to charge it only when it is needed.
