"I'm a super skeptical guy. An I admit I was nervous at first sending my phone in. But travis kept me updated everytime I emailed ,I got a quick response back. I sent my phone in on a Tuesday an was paid the following Saturday. An the payment was really fare. So I had a very good encounter. I would 100 percent do this again with them.,an I probly will. "
"Working with thewhizcells was very simple. They have great descriptions for the different conditions of phones they will buy back. Prices are fair and payments are sent quickly."
"Fast and fair. Would use them again. "
"I have made several transactions with this professional company. Always dependable and prompt service. I will recommend to others for sure. Thanks! "
"Great experience. Definitely recommend and will use again."
"The process was easy. I picked the condition of my phone, and a corresponding payment amount was shown. I shipped the phone to them and within a short time (I think it was a day or two after they received it) they sent me the amount of money quoted. Would definitely recommend."
"What a rip off. I send them a phone that’s in perfect condition and they tell me the silent toggle switch is broken and offer me 40 less than what was quoted. They broke it to scam me out of $40. "
"Fast and easy process. Payment through Venmo was super easy and quick. Would use again!"
"Whizcells was very easy to deal with and the process was very quick. I would definitely use them again."
"I sold a brand new iPhone X to them. I recieved notification that it was received. Three days later they send me an email stating they won't pay anything for my phone. Then they wouldn't return calls or emails. Finally I get them to respond and they tell me that the box was empty. I have been fighting with the USPS and them to get my phone back. Its been a nightmare. They are rude, and don't care one bit about their customers/victims "
“We received an empty box. An email was sent to them just to let them know that nothing but some wet bubble wrap was in the box. They have claimed that we sold their phone but we did not. The post office has the weight of the package documented in their internal tracking system which shows the weight is the weight of the box we received and still have as proof. Here is a screenshot from our local postmaster confirming the weigh of 8oz, which is the weight of the empty box we have. https://www.screencast.com/t/FlFpJHhozQ3 8oz is not heavy enough to have a phone, charger, and packaging.”
"Have anymore phone would most likely sell them to whiz’s sell and tell more people "
"Whizcell responded quickly to our inquiry to sell our iPhone 6S. We received our envelope in a timely fashion and we mailed it back the same day.
Within a day we received a lower quote than we originally were given… Because you said the screen had scratches on it! All you needed to do was take the screen cover off! There was no way to communicate back to whiz cell so we just had to take the offer. The payment came quickly as well! "
"Offered me $100 initially, then changed it to $65 when they rec’d the phone : due to battery. This was fine. It was a 7y.o. Old phone. It would be better practice for the website to notify customers of things to check before sending in phone (like the battery) or common areas for rejection and / or modified offers. So good experience, and needs more transparency and details. "
"Turned my phone in and was paid super fast via PayPal. Very trustworthy and worth it to get rid of your old tech!"
"It was completed quicker than expected. I was admittedly skeptical but great experience. "
"Easy experience all the way around. The process and payment were as advertised."
A rep from Thewhizcells.com, TheWhizCells, has responded:
“We did not break your phone. I am very sorry that you are upset. However, the few times we see someone make this kind of claim it does not hold water. If we break the phone, then offering you less really does not help us because we still have a broken phone. So it makes no sense for us to break phones. I apologize for being rather pointed but this type of unfounded claim is a little upsetting on our end as well. I wish you good luck with the sale of your phone. Stay safe and well. ”
