This site has very cool items but it's much better to use it to find cool stuff and then buy it from a reliable website that offers 2-3 day shipping. Not only have I been waiting weeks for this item to arrive but when I called customer service they refused to help. They said "At ThinkGeek.com we don't guarantee items arrive and we cannot issue you any time of refund until the item arrives which might be in weeks. If you read our terms and conditions you would have seen that we don't take any responsibility for how slow our warehouse is".

I've never heard a website take such little responsibility for this actions. In today's age of free & fast shipping this company will not stay in business. Having cool items that you can buy anywhere is not anything that holds value. You have lost me as a lifetime customer and I will also make sure to keep spreading the word. All because your customer service clearly thinks I'm a replaceable customer."

He's crazy about Dr. Who and was able to find him a t-shirt that he finds hilarious but I don't understant at all (Something about Angels stealing a blue box?) Always on time delivery. An hour later we check our bank account online and there are two pending transactions for $75 each. "I recently ordered a present for a friend from ThinkGeek for $20 which approximated in GBP should be around £15 and ended up paying in excess of £60 after they charged a ridiculous overseas shipping and conversion rate as well as charging VAT on the cost for shipping, most of which was not shown on the receipt and nor was it shown in the order summary when I went to pay. It is frankly atrocious that a seller would show such blatant disregard for customers in non-US countries which must make up a decent percentage of their market. I would not buy from this website again and would do as I have done in the past and found British-based companies to buy the product from instead. "

"I have a very geeky personality, as do most of my friends, so finding this site was like finding a kindred spirit. I ordered and recieved from them misfortune cookies and ninja star pushpins. They were a christmas present for a friend and she loved them. The products were in excellent condition and ordering online was a very easy process. The website offers creative and clever items. I was happy with my experience. "

"I bought a Mini GPS tracker and had to return it because it did not work. I received my new GPS mini tracker and this unit is also broke. One of the three battery leads inside the GPS unit is broken; however I managed to get it to work without the battery cover but the unit still doesnt work just like the last one. Both units came with software to track the unit but neither one came with a password to open the software on my computer. Both catalogs I received from Thinkgeek still dont state anything about needing a SIM card in order to get this unit to work. Thinkgeek needs to stick to selling non technical stuff because their phone help line for this item is a joke because no one there knows anything about this product. Ill be surprised if I get my money back.

"The site is pretty organized and is full of awesomely geeky things, I'll give them that. One thing in particular caught my eye - a C++ inspired printed beer mug. I ordered these for my programmer boyfriend who brews as a hobby.

When the set was delivered however I was very disappointed in the quality of the print. The #include logo was scratch in many places on all of the glasses and two of them were quite crooked. I even set them down on a table to make sure it wasn't just my eyes. It doesn't really seem worth it to send them back especially if all them mugs are a similar quality.

I also noticed what looked like soap-scum lines and some chunky stuff at the bottom of the glasses. I guess they'd been siting in a warehouse for forever, but shipping dirty merchandise just doesn't seem like an awesome idea.

I didn't have a problem with the shipping time at all - my package arrived exactly when I was told it would. The way my package was shipped together was a little iffy. Some of glasses were wrapped in a sheet of bubble-wrap that didn't fully cover the glass. (Perhaps this contributed to all the scratches on the print?)

Overall though thinkgeek has some cute things, I would be very cautious about getting what you're paying for. Though I only spent $20 on the mugs, I wouldn't have paid that much knowing the quality."
