"I ordered a La Crosse BC-900 Charger/Analyzer from Thomas Distrbuting through a link that shouldn't have worked for $39.97. This item showed as In Stock on the page I ordered from. I continued browsing their site, and when I clicked on the the charger later, I noticed a different price and a status of "Not in Stock". I contacted them to see what happened and received an email stating that the BC-900 was back ordered until the end of the month (about 3 weeks!), and that the page I ordered from should not have worked.

The next day I received a call from someone at Thomas Distributing apologizing for the error in the listing, and offering to ship me the Maha MH-C9000 FOR THE SAME PRICE! "I purchased a Maha PowerEx WizardOne C9000 charger as one of the original pre-order purchases when it was first released.

Thomas Distributing provided wonderful pre-sales help, and I received the product quickly.

The product began to fail a little after a few months (the LCD screen began fading) and eventually, recently, lost screen elements entirely.

I contacted Thomas Dist. who handles the warranties directly, and they were extremely rapid with their response. They immediately setup an advanced warranty, and within a week I got a box from Maha containing my new unit, and a return label for the defective one.

After other experiences with vendors that don't even support advanced warranties, and are much more of a hassle, and most warranties that barely even count as warranties (paying fortunes in shipping for defective products etc) Thomas Dists. quick service was a refreshing switch.

Got my confirmation e-mail within minutes. Never had to wait to talk to someone on the phone. Polite and knowledgable person. Never tried to "sell" me other stuff. And, I got a nice package deal. Delivery was was within stated timline. These 8 PowerEx 2700 AA batteries are nice, and the charger works as advertised...100-minute fast charge and/or slow 5-hour charge...both with automatic trickle charge at the end. "Recently I order 8 Sanyo rechargeable batteries and started using them for my keyboards, mouse and TV remotes. I noticed that they discharge very quickly. I decided to drop an email to TD and explained to them what the problem was and since I had thrown away the packaging, I really didn’t think that TD would even consider my issue.
