"I was very excited about getting some unique cardigans for a very reasonable price, but I ended up being a bit disappointed with the result. I bought four cardigans and the most expensive (and most anticipated) of the bunch ended up arriving in very bad shape. I'll grant the holes were only visible after I put the cardigan on and stretched it out a bit, but the whole front was covered in holes! I've never seen moth damage in person, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it was. I'm certainly not feeling too pleased with the quality control. And adding to that is that I feel like I wasted my introductory 40% off. It's definitely made me feel leery about taking a chance again, especially with such slow shipping speeds."

"Good selection. Some color descriptions of fabrics are a bit off. Occasional items have no description of types of material (ie wool, acrylic, etc). Guessing what sizes will fit can be difficult, so I've had to return a lot of things. "

The prices are fair, maybe slightly higher than some other brick and mortar consignment shops or other second hand favorite spots, like a Salvation Army; however, I don't mind spending the extra buck or two on designer things, while saving that same buck or two in gas and time. You will not get as much money from ThredUP for your items as you might at a consignment shop, but again, I like getting the bag, filling it and sending it off! No waiting 3 months to see if by chance your items have sold. I have now bought, sold and returned things with ThredUP and have never been disappointed. I find myself checking the site, on average, once a week. "
