"My first resell bag was a passable experience, the second bag was just okay, but the third bag was such a disappointment that I am rethinking whether I want to subject myself to this ever-changing process again. Too many of my items that were new with tags or perfect condition as well as relevant, were not accepted. One example: Turquoise dangle earrings, new in package got cut. Since there is no way of knowing which items will be accepted, you can't know whether to ask for the rejected items back ahead of time. Also, they changed their platform: accept their offer, or sell it all on consignment. This choice would be fine except you have no say in the pieces to consign, like the garments with tags that didn't make their cut. As it turns out, I feel like my best selling pieces were not accepted and it makes me wonder where they went. Maybe to make their rescue boxes look good?? "
"Fabulous customer service and great selection at fair prices. Love it!"
"I think Thredup can be a good source of clothes as the website is constructed in an easy to find way. However one has to watch as I have found that sizes are not always what is listed and you have to read what it is said about quality. Sometimes I find the prices to be high for the quality of the garment as compared to ebay for example."
"received my order and items were exactly as described or better. fast shipping too!"
"Always find something I can use at a great price"
"I feel as though I have been somewhat scammed. Too may name brand items I sent in did not show up on my list. No name a few items, I sent in a small leather Dooney purse in excellent condition and it didn't show up on my list of items, according to their rules, what they don't accept they donate (if you choose that route which I did), but I feel the staff must take "first pick" out of the bags and boxes and probably sell it on ebay or keep it for themselves... Be careful of what you send, if you are not sure, just keep it and donate it yourself; if they aren't going to pay you for the item anyway, at least you know YOU donated the item. I also sent in a pair of AK Anne Klein heels that did not show up on my list of items, yet the exact pair of shoes were for sale (and now must have been sold), I know they were the shoes I sent. The same goes for a pair of Banana Republic jean shorts in excellent condition not to be found on my list. Something fishy going on here!!! Oh and what they do payout on is extremely low. I can't buy stuff at Goodwill that cheap!!! "
“Hi Chris, we appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback. Our processing staff is not allowed to take the processed items under any circumstances. We recommend Return Assurance on bags that contain items of value to you. In the event that they are rejected, we return them to you if this feature is applied. Thank you.”
"When Threadup first started I would send a bag of clothes and was paid I think very well for my designer things. Then about a year later I was sending the same great quality & name brands and getting pennies. I think they have become great a ripping people off."
"always fun to see what I will find at Thredup!"

"Always from Day One, Thred Up has been there for me with super quality, well presented fashion and accurate descriptions. Not to mention ...... super fast ship and careful packaging. But the real measure of a company is how they handle concerns. Thred Up has a staff of caring individuals who handle customers' concerns beautifully and never have I been dissatisfied in any way. Many thanks to everyone!!
BTW LOVE the Free Ship if I happen to hit "the Ceiling"!!
"
"Use all the time, recommend highly "
