"Shipping takes longer than what is the general time frame from other online retailers. Packaging is always done very well. I also sent an email over a month ago inquiring about an item and never received a response. So that’s disappointing."

I have purchased clothing and sent in clothing to resell through thredup on 2 separate occasions. NEVER AGAIN!!!
I gave them a second chance after my first experience, believing they were newer and could improve over time. The second experience is worse than the first. I sent in over $500 worth of new shoes, $500 worth of clothing, and 2 brand new bags worth over $300 together. They rejected almost everything, only keeping the lowest end things. For all this, they have offered me $60, and will not return any of the items stating, I didn't choose that option. I was NEVER given that option. Their response, "It is implied by the 'terms and conditions' of using our website."
I would much rather give those items to women in need.

They refuse to return anything I sent in because it "has been processed". There are pictures of it up on their website, so they could certainly go get them and return them to me. WHAT A SCAM! They have hard working women turn in clothes, which they resell at 500% markup from what they give the original owners. Retail has a 100% markup."

"I sent a huge bag of clothes, about 15lbs worth of clothes, shoes and accessories. They only put 6 items in my account and I only got 5.90 after everything. What makes me furious is that they stole my most of my items and probably sold them without giving me money for them. A pair of Betsy Johnson flats that I sent in was received in my account but they didn't give me any money for them yet had the nerve to sell the shoes for $24. Even complained to customer service over 3 weeks ago and received no response. What the hell! I'm filing a complaint with better business bureau and reporting as a scam. As this company took in my items but didn't apply these to my account. "

"If you buy buy a lot at one time this way u send the ones you don't want back all the same time save on return shipping . I've spent over 1000.00 I believe in the past year. I love the clothing. Just have to check all the juicy couture clothing after purchasing tons of them (and didn't get to wear them all ) I started noticing the clothing has holes at the seems. I bought most of my clothes fairly cheap so I really can't complain. But now when you pay double the price u will make sure there are no seems coming undone. I would definitely buy more. just very hard to match the colors of the velour zippered hoodies with the bottoms. Also they need to get the fabric correct some say velour when it's terry cloth material. "
