"So last night with lots of excitemnet, I go online to order tickets for the Thomas Rhett concert being held at Wild Bill's, mind you, I have never been to Wild Bill's, or ordered through ticketmaster. So I order the tickets to find out four days later the tickets will sale for cheaper. I look for the refund policy, which says, " within 72 hours you can get a refund, however only if those venues or teams are participating memebers of ticketmaster. So make sure you read carefully. I tried calling that same night, but they where already closed. So, I tried today with being placed on hold, disconnected and then talked to like I was a complete idiot. Talk about customer service, well it's not with this company. This was my first and last time dealing with them. I talked to three people to get nowhere, but that I should have paid closer attention and that they are not responsible of the venues rules. Talk about our economy hurting beccause people are not spending, well when your having to worry with reading a complete novel before purchasing items to keep from ripping you off and emptying your bank account for hidden policies, is it any wonder? When I mentioned about doing what was right and proving good customer service, I was given that it's not their problem and didn't care if I gave them a bad review. With companies becoming more like this by the day, you will either learn to stay home more or become very poor. Good luck!!!
note: I got refund but not for the full amount!"
"So, I accidentally sold one of my event tickets on two sites, Ticketmaster and StubHub. The reason for this was that Ticketmaster's site was being glitchy. I tried calling Ticketmaster customer service that night before the tickets sold, when the site wasn't working, and waited on the phone for over an hour, no answer. So the next day I get on StubHub and sell my ticket right away. Then about an hour later I get an email from Ticketmaster saying I sold it on that site too. So now I'm panicking. I'm thinking this is going to cost me a ton of money since the ticket prices skyrocketed overnight.
I call Ticketmaster to explain my difficulties with their site and ask for help on what to do, wait on hold for about 30 minutes before I can talk to anyone. Then, they literally tell me "We can do nothing." So I ask if they can at least notify the buyer that their ticket won't work since two have been sold of the same barcode, and they say "No, we cannot do that." So then I ask if I will be in legal trouble for this if I can't figure out how to remedy it, and they say, "You know, I really don't know ma'am but we can't help you."
So now I'm really freaking out. I call StubHub right away, and they answer within seconds (literally, like 5 seconds). I tell them I need help, and how Ticketmaster blew me off. The rep told me not to worry, they can fix this. He explains I might be charged the difference for a new ticket, which is completely fine since I sold the ticket for 160 and they hadn't gone up too much since earlier that day. However, I never got charged.
They were so helpful and have been in the past as well, this time really made me a loyal customer to Stubhub. Great customer service, they always have my vote.
Ticketmaster on the other hand, will not see anymore activity from my account whatsoever. I will never purchase/sell tickets from them again. Their customer service was absolutely horrible, including a RIDICULOUS wait on the phone, only to be told that they "can't help"."
"Ticketmaster UK - do not book with them!
I had to learn on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/TicketmasterUK) that there are massive delivery problems with Ticketmaster UK. They start dispatching tickets around 7/10 days before the show. And in summer with lots of tours and festivals they ship them even later. So apparently lots of tickets arrive one day before the event or on the the event day or even after the event! This is a huge problem especially for international customers who need to travel before the show (I, for example, will travel at least 10 days before the show) and also for travelling customers from the UK. In addition to that this weird shipment policy is mentioned nowhere during the booking process. It's very unusual, Ticketmaster Germany for example works very well, they ship tickets immediately, so does Eventim. And the worst thing is customer service, wanted to ask when tickets will be shipped, but you can't get through by phone unless you wait for hours (but calling from abroad it's simply too expensive to hold the line). No e-mail, and If you submit a "Ask A Question" on their website, you just get a standard reply, that you might have been able to find an answer in their FAQ section in the meantime, so they close your query! If I had found some info in FAQ I would never have submitted a question in the first place! I was lured into Ticketmaster UK because my last order with Ticketmaster Germany worked so well and I thought it's the same company and same system. But if I had known all these problems before (curse myself for not having had a look on facebook before booking!) I would never have booked with Ticketmaster UK and I strongly suggest to use another ticket service if available."
"One of these reviews says they have the best prices.. Are you kidding? At least for Broadway shows they are ridiculous! OK Broadway.com is worse, but there are other ticketsellers that offer the same pricing or much better - and with better customer service. No way no day.."
"I purchased 3 tickets for an event, payed about $450.00 for 3 of them... I requested a refund and they did surprisingly. I had an upcoming concert which I purchased the tickets months before when they were on pre-sale. I checked 3 days before the concert if they had any better seats and they did! Section PIT row 2! I called Ticketmaster to see if they can exchange them for the better seats and they did. Ticketmaster is very helpful and tries to make their customer's happy. The lady Pam was very nice and helpful she went above and beyond. Thank you, Pam you are an A+++ on my book :)"
"It really is too bad that Ticketmaster has such a stranglehold on the live performance entertainment industry, they really over charge. I just paid more than 20% in fees on top of the ticket price. It should be illegal. I will move on to whatever competitor strives to dethrone Ticketmaster as they have had their time and must now be done away with."
"THEY SUCK! Took my money from a valid gift card and now won't send the tickets and will NOT refund the money for 10 days.
They keep saying there is a problem yet they took the money.
Second dya on the phone with them.
THEY SUCK!"
"Service is fine and efficient. They get a bad rap on the Service charges that the bands and venues make them charge. Never had a problem with their ticketing service."
"Unlike most reviews, I've used ticketmaster about six times or so over the years. Never ever had an issue. Believe it or not they actually had competitive pricing for the Lion King show on Broadway (NYC) compared to other ticket brokers. Sure, nobody like the facility or convenience fee, but the latter actually does not go to ticketmaster (it goes to the artist/product). I did have to call once to ask about my ticket reservation, a little hold time, but otherwise turned out ok. "
"I loath Ticketmaster, or rather I loath their ridiculous service charges. Why on Earth I have to pay more in service fees to buy a pair of tickets than the tickets themselves costs is beyond me, but its ridiculous. I mean $2.50 just so I can print my own tickets - that's crazy!
12.40 convenience charge - 4.50 order processing and a 2.5 charge to print my tickets. That's 21.40 for two 9.69 tickets..insane!!"
"i purchased 5 tickets to andrea boceli concert as a gift and paid an additional fee to receive them via email, i was told it's going to be in 24hrs at the most, when they didn't come i spend another hour on the phone and was told that the agent didn't include my email address and the all is rectified and i should get the tickets within 20 min, when that didn't happen i wrote an email to customer service over 2 days ago to which i didn't get a respond as well, what label can one put on a customer service like that?"
"Ordered quite a few tickets from Ticketmaster.com. Nothing really much to say, but I always get my tickets as expected."
"Probably the only website that sells tickets to events at the best possible price. Brokers who claim to have the best seats possible sell them for more ridiculous prices even at the worst seats, and most of them only sell you a pair of tickets even if you want only one. The fees are insane but these guys are the only and best people in town to give you the best resonable prices.
My tickets came in good time, usually two weeks. My only downside is that the order confirmation says that they'll remind you when the tickets are printed and shipped, but I never got that email. I had to check my order status and I was surprised that they've already been shipped out without a reminder. But on a lighter note, my tickets came safe and sound and I'm now very excited for my event to arrive. It's obvious that I'll shop from these guys again, either through the box office or online (they're the same). Keep it up Ticketmaster."
"Very quick and easy my order was placed for online printout tickets, so they showed up in my inbox in a matter of days and I am set to go to my event. I will definately do business with again. You cant beat the price of ticketmaster for events that are going to be sold out and having to buy tickets through a broker otherwise. Will do business with again."
"Fast and easy. Tickets came in the mail quickly and discreetly. I think their fees are way too high but they have a monopoly."
