"This was my first and last time ordering from Tigerdirect. One of the two products in the order came in fine. The other, a wireless mouse, was defective. I emailed the company with questions about returns since they were never open during evenings. NEver heard back. Called them to get a return authorization number and was told I would receive an email with one within hours. Never got it.
Then I spent one day trying to call them back - 7 phone calls waiting on average about 15 minutes on hold, and was never served. The whole situation was beyond unacceptable."
"Tracking numbers didn't work. Took some time to receive a reply through customer service, although they eventually replied explaining the delay for response was due to the long holiday weekend. The product came a day earlier than expected, though. Was very pleased with that."

I browsed other stores listed in this site with very high ratings but some of them not even linked to the store or not in business. I’ve been e-Shopping for my business and personal for long time. This store is the best! Especially I’m impressed with the shopping system, detailed information, pictures and specs. Account/order information is well linked to anywhere I need to know and fast. Search system are well organized and easy and fast to find the item I’m looking for, especially when I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for. "First of all, I would like to point out that many of TD's products include MIR which really sweeten the deals. A lot of users have reported various MIR problems. I am one happy camper that has received no rebate problems. What I am unhappy with is their ridiculous shipping system. Apparently, they weigh scale their purchases for shipping- this is definitly not the case IMO, how can one stick of RAM cost $20 to ship? Their shipping is what kills the best deals on their site. If I lived in Ontario and could pick-up, things would probably be a lot nicer. I also phoned them once regarding my order and though service was mediocre, partly becasue of the people that I thought were snobby. Shipping is decent and I received all the orders I have made with them, exactly 7 days from the day I ordered them (that's 5 business days). Right now though, I'll just stick with NCIX and PM any better TD prices."
"Company fraudulently charged my credit card with an unauthorised charge of $10.70 a while after shipping out my order.
Subsequently, they refused to remove me from their catalogue mailing list despite demands to do so.
Additionally, their shipping charges were excessive."
"Took a couple of days to verify my credit card, but other than that my order got to my house in 4-5 business days. 3 days once my card was cleared by TG.ca. have ordered from them before also and had no problems. plan on ordering from them this week as i am building a new system."
"Ordered a Trendnet router online, which was delivered about two business days later by UPS. Arrived intact, and works just fine.
Based on past online and in-store purchases, their merchandise generally seems to be of good quality and at good prices. However, their in-store customer service does seem to be a bit lacking. Rebates take a long time to get back, too. (But so far I've always gotten every rebate.)
Overall, I've been satisifed with every purchase made at TigerDirect both online and at the store level. Haven't experienced the "horror stories" that others have, from what I've been reading."
"Great computer, and great shipping time but their customer services is poor and the rebates are hard to get. The bar code that they wanted was not in or on my shipping cartons and I was told there's nothing we can do for you. Apparently the manufacturer never makes an error on the carton only the customer is capable of error. I will not buy from them again."

"I have ordered an Mp3 player with paypal from this incredibly terrible company on May 17th. My order got on "hold" for two days for some mysterious bull. reason. The UPC tracking number they promised took them 8 days to provide..At this point is where my package supposedly arrived, but no somehow it got lost from UPC system. Turns out that tigerdirect.ca "forgot" to put half of my address on and it got back and forth between UPC and a local courrier company. I spent 7 hours..not exeggurating..7 damn hours on the phone with them ...they promised money back , new mp3 everything..but they did not do anything they said. I filed a complaint at paypal ...no response nothing. THIS COMPANY SUCKS SO BAD there is no words for it. Please never order from them for your own sake. "
"Ordered the video card, shipped in about 2 days, showed up 2 days later, works perfectly. I've heard a lot of criticism about Tigerdirect, and I'm curious if it's the .com variant (their US store) that's different then the .ca store.
I've dealt with Tigerdirect.ca on numerous ocassions and been pretty happy every time. My only gripe is that they use UPS for shipping, I hate UPS, they ring the bell and run, or don't stay long which isn't cool.
Lesson: Don't base your experience or intent to purchsae solely on the words of resellerratings.com's users, after all the happy people don't usually post :)."
"For the moment TigerDirect.ca is the worst company that I ever have used to buy something on Internet.
On 17 December 2005 I ordered 3 items from TigerDirect.ca. The most expensive item is a 26’ TV LCD. On 28/12/2005 TigerDirect.ca charged my credit card with the complete order despite the fact that they didn’t deliver the TV. Since then I have contacted TigerDirect.ca many times and they promised again to call me back, but nobody called me anymore.
The absurd comes on January 6 when I received an e-mail (Finally! After more than 15 demands for explanations by phone or sent by e-mail) form TigerDirect.ca WebHelp Team in which they explained to me that my TV is already delivered on December 20 last year (more than 2 weeks ago)!!! In the message there is a link to the web site of the shipping company and the tracking number of my TV. The “little” problem is that it looks like that my TV is shipped to completely wrong address thousands miles from Montreal that I leave
It looks like there is no person with big responsibility who monitors, controls and supervises the deliveries and the feed-back from the customers."
"When it came time to order all the parts for the new PC I was building, it was a choice between tigerdirect.ca and ncix.com. Based on reseller ratings, at the time tigerdirect.ca had a rating of < 2, while the ncix was at 9.4! So even though my total order cost a little more at ncix I chose them. However, I ordered a refurb video capture device from tigerdirect. The ncix order became a 3-4 week nightmare, while the tigerdirect refurb part was shipped the same day, and arrived in great condition. A couple of weeks later I had to order more accessories (modem, parallel port, etc) so I ordered from tigerdirect. Once again, the order shipped on the same day and all parts were working. I've read reports that a lot of people have had bad experiences with tigerdirect. Maybe I've just been lucky, but these two orders were handled perfectly for me."
"I ordered a Omni Directional 6db 2.4GHz Antenna w/TNC Adapter, Hyundai L90D+ 19" 1280x1024 Slv/Blk DVI LCD, Connect 3D Radeon X850XT Platinum 256MB PCIe from TigerDirect.ca during my allocation of parts for a new computer. They had excellent prices on the purchased items, but not so great on other products. The order took a while to get processed, however it when it was finally sent out of the warehouse, shipping was fairly quick. All products were received over the course of 2 days in perfect working order. The antenna was listed with a rebate of $22.50 USD, but when I looked at the rebate information, they had simply listed the same rebate twice, so I only ended up receiving a rebeate of $12.50. My overall shopping experience was good, but I was dissappointed that they mislisted the rebate. For monitors and graphics cards, I highly recommend this dealer. "
"Worst customer service EVER. They're okay if you never have to call them. But if you do, then you'll probably spend an hour or more on the phone (their system hangs up after you've waited on hold for 30 minutes!). At some point, a customer service rep gave me an extension -- but I never managed to reach him again, and his voicemail was full! It took me 1.5 hours to get my order placed (credit card verification problems). Then I had to return it (defect). Another hour or more. It took a while to get my original money back (a week after they got it back) -- I called them to check on it (another hour). I STILL haven't gotten my retutn shipping refunded (promised by rep who gave me my return authorization), two months later. So, I'm on the phone again. I guess that's another hour or two gone. Quite frankly, I can flip burgers for the amount of time I've wasted and made more than any savings I might have had."
