Not a big deal - I don't think the netbook cares that it was upside down. The plastic bag for the battery was open and ripped at the bottom so the battery was half out of the bag. This was a refurbished product. Haven't opened the actual netbook because it is a Christmas gift. I'm sure it will be fine. "
