"So basically, I bought a complete new setup, the framework for a gaming rig. 23" 1080P Monitor, Nvidia 3D Vision Kit, MSI NF980-G65 motherboard, and the AMD Socket AM3, 1090T Black Edition, 6x Core, 3.2 GhZ p/core, among other things.
Now the motherboard is the ONLY one they have that has SLI and a socket AM3 (I have already ordered and payed for the 3d Vision Kit from Nvidia, and for a reason, switching to a Crossfire board is not an option)
Basically, they have NO other motherboards that will meet my needs. The motherboard's BIOS is only V.1.2, which only supports upto a 4X Core, and I need V.1.4 to run a 6X Core. Tiger said they wouldn't re-emberse me for shipping to MSI to have the BIOS updated, nor could they update the BIOS before shipping me out a new one (very simple BIOS Flash with the new info, AM3 4X Core required though, something I dont have nor want).
I ended up having to pay my own shipping, on friggin Christmas holiday, broke from dropping $1800 already on this site, Xpress post of course. Tiger says that they can only re-emberse for "over the border fees" that arent supposed to be charged, because UPS re-emberses them.....so basically they refuse to pay my shipping because they wont get it back in their pocket.
So if it were not for the guys at MSI I would be royally screwed right now, instead I just have to wait an EXTRA 2-3 WEEKS with no computer (and yes, that is Xpress as well, 2 day shipping there, 2 day back, upto 14 days just for a BIOS Flash)>:-( and had to pay for it myself...all in all not very satisfied, they were not prepared to help me get it up and running :\
I will probably still make smaller purchases on this site, GFX cards, small stuff, they did get it to me quick and in good physical condition....but the fact they utterly refused to re-emberse me for a shipping charge I should not have to pay, nor offer ANY other solution to my BIOS issue (remember, no Socket AM3/SLI ready boards besides the one I have, shipping me a new one would have the same BIOS issue unless they fixed it there with a simple flash, which they said they could not do)
I am just saying, if they would have payed my shipping to MSI for repair, because they couldn't offer me ANY working solution to my problem, and the MSI guys could, I would have been happy.
It should be the companys responsibility to make a customer happy, not the customers :\ Oh and I spent 1 hour hooking everything up....15 hours of hard work until finally figuring out it was the BIOS causing all my problems, that was LOADS of fun...
All in all though, for a website they aren't that bad, good selection, good pricing, but when it comes to paying out of their pocket, they dont like to do it."

"I have always found dealing with Tiger Direct Canada, a good experience. The only problem I had was that this order was shipped in two different packages, and the first package, did not inform me of this so when I got the package, I thought I was missing something. If the company were to put some kind of notice in the package when not all of the components shipped in the same box, this would reduce the stress level of the customer."
"I was extremely impressed that you're site had hand held scanners that were in stock. I was even more pleased when the scanner arrived on christmas eve, because it was my dad's "big gift".
I went to the shopping channel and they were sold out of scanners in my price range. Best Buy was sold out and they couldn't order anything online into there store. Future shop had problems with their web site. Every time I clicked check out, they said the scanner was out of stock, but the kept saying it was in stock. The customer service rep for the site was no help because it was not a real person but an automated messaging system.
I am really impressed and when I move out, I'll be ordering my t.v. from you guys!!
