"The process of buying new tires from Tire Rack could not be any easier or better. Finding the right tire is easy with Tire Racks online resources, and it is great to have access to not only professional reviews, but reviews by other customers. Since I prefer to support local stores, I checked with them first but their prices were $100 higher per tire and they did not offer a road hazard warranty (at any price, let alone the free warranty provided by Tire Rack). Tire Rack shipped the tires to the very same local vendor who then got the business of installing the tires, balancing the wheels and aligning the car. At the end of the day, I saved money, received a road hazard warranty and supported by local business. A win/win as far as I am concerned. "

"I have been a Tire Rack customer in the past.. but my last couple of set of tires I did not choose them. Instead I wanted to support my local businesses thus going to Mavis and one purchase in BJ's wholesale club. But this time I want back to Tire Rack and here is why. On my wife's Equinox.. I had the Bridgestone Alexa Ultra's. No they did not last 80K miles. I might be at fault here... maybe I did not pay enough attention to the air pressure enough. Anyway.. I needed a New York inspection so time for me was an issue. From what I see tire technology changes about every two years.. so is there a tire better then Bridgestone Ultra? We are talking about $245 a tire so they better be good and they better last. I tell you I was really impressed with watching the videos Tire Rack provided comparing tires in this class. I was not sure of all the verbiage but when they talked about the Bridgestone Ultra I could relate to both their positive and negative comments. That told me that these guys knew what they were talking about and that when a company provides value, in this case, these reviews I tend to reward the company. So I went with a set pf 4 Pirelli Scorpion Weatheractive based on these reviews. For me I was never a big fan of Pirelli since I have always heard that they wear prematurely. We shall see. I must say, I noticed a big difference in this tire. With the Ultra I would here a bit of thumping. These are pretty quiet and so far I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. I went back to review Tire Racks review.. and yes I could definitely understand their excitement in the video. Also my wife, who drives like a race car driver, we call her Mario Marlene, well she loved them. Not sure if this a good thing. Maybe this will cost me in the future, but for now she thinks that she is driving a new car. That in itself should save me some money. Thanks, Tire Rack"
