"We purchased a set of tires and they were wrong. We went to send them back and they said they would help us out on the shipping, but they lied, (first lie) they deducted twice as much for the shipping that is cost to ship them to me from the refund fro the first set of tires. Then we wanted to get right the right ones shipped now to where my son was moving to and they said they would ship them for free to a "certified installer" but I didn't want to because the installation is much higher than the local guy. They said it would cost 88 dollars to install them, 22 dollars more than my local guy, but we were in a bad position and we had to do it. When my son got to the Firestone store in Columbia MO, they charged him 118.00 dollars, not the 88 the guy said it would be. 2nd Lie. My conclusion, they are all liers. "
"Bought 4 new tires from them in July ...less than 2400 miles on them and one shreds completely!! Keep in mind i do constant tire pressure checks on my vechile. "Used a debit card to purchase. Made a typo on my phone # and they cancelled order. Their customer service would not reinstate order or refund my payment for 3 to 5 business days. Beware of this fly by night outfit. Spoke to a service agent on the phone and the exact same guy answered my email. He was more worried I hurt his feelings than actually take care of problem"
"My initial purchase and install was a great experience, however, I experienced a problem in two of the four tires I purchased. The tires were showing belt fatigue and causing ripples on the sidewall areas. I reported the problem, sent proof and was told that it was my fault. I was guilty of moving the car from a two lane highway to see what had occurred to the tire. So it was my fault for driving less than b 100 yards. Poor customer service and lack of support after the sale."
"Great experience! I shopped with TireRack for the last 15 years, so I was apprehensive using TireBuyer. However, only they had the Ultra High Performance tire in my size, so I decided to risk it. The person taking my order was courteous and obviously knowledgeable. Tires arrived on time and exactly as ordered. I will be using their service again in the future."
"My experience with the customer service side of these guys is horrible. I'll start by saying i made the mistake of buying the wrong size of tire on a Sunday night. I tried calling that night but of coarse they were closed. So, i call that next morning at 7:30 mtn time only to be told that they couldn't cancel my order. They told me that the tires where already loaded on the semi and they don't unload the trailer. So being passive i complied and thought i would just take a hit on this one. But to my anger i received an email 3 hours later stating that a call tag had been created to ship my tires. Also they where being shipped from Salt Lake City. There is no way that the employees had shown up to the warehouse and had loaded my tires by 7:30 in the morning. So because of this lack of customer care and lack of internal communication im out 100's of dollars. Thanks for nothing Tirebuyer. I will never buy from them again. "
"Just a warning, I left one of their installer companies bad feedback over 2 weeks ago and they still have not posted it on their site, nor have they updated that installer's rating on their site. That makes me wonder how good any of these installer reviews really are! So, I recommend that you do your own research.

"The tires were name brand, cheaper than anywhere else by far, shipped free and showed up next buisness day. Amazing and seamless. Read the other reviews below. I don't understand how you can fault a company if you manually override things and order a tire that is wrong. Be a smart consumer, find what you need first, then where to get it. The computer isn't going to do the thinking for you. Or if you can't handle it, go to a tire store where they can tell you what you need. Hen buy it from tire buyer."
"Purchased a set of Michelin LTX M/S2's (P265/65R18) in November 2014 for my 2011 Chevy Silverado. These tires had the highest rating on noise on Consumer Reports. I can tell you that these tires are not quiet. They have a very annoying hum and sound like a heavy lug off road tire. Very disappointed with these Michelin tires."

After placing an order with a competitor and receiving a follow-up that the tires were out of stock, I went back to the drawing board to find a set of quality tires within my price range. I have frequently purchased tires online in the past but had always used Tirerack or Discount Tire Direct. Tirebuyer came up in my searches and they had by far the best pricing to be found for the General Grabber AT2's and I decided to go with it. Free shipping was a motivating factor, although I wish I had known about sales tax a little earlier in the purchase process, although the price still bested all the other dealers. I placed the order Friday night and received instant confirmation of the order. The order shipped Monday and tires were delivered on Tuesday, with communication from Tirebuyer as the order moved through the process. They delivered the tires I wanted at the best price and with extremely fast shipping. "I made purchases from TireBuyer.com using a promotion code that they email me. The coupon had no terms or conditions listed in the body of the email nor on their website. In good faith I submitted my orders using the coupons and hours later I received cancelation messages without explanation.
Disturbed by the lack of explanation and seeing that the promotional details are not listed on their website I phoned TireBuyer.com customer care number. After getting passed around I reached a manager who was fairly rude. He was accusatory and did not allow me to finish speaking. I asked for support of their terms and conditions as none were listed on the website. He was not able to nor willing to assist.
TireBuyer.com has canceled my orders and has not released the hold from my credit card. Tire Buyer's practice of offering promotional coupons without corresponding terms or conditions then making up terms and conditions is misleading and deceptive."
"Bought a set of general grabber HTS lt truck SUV tires. I used the enter vehicle option and found tires but the size was wrong. I entered the size from the sticker on my door, in the Enter tire size option. I received the tires and had a puncture on a gravel county road. General told me to return to dealer to have them call general and they would see what they could do for me. (2 hr.drive) . Turned out the tires were not rated for my trucks weight. General said tire-buyer.com will have to replace it. Tire buyer said I ordered the wrong tire and that because the thirty day period was over they could or would not take them back. This was my first and last tirebuyer.com purchase. I only was looking to get some help on replacing a new ruined tire . Even though there is not a road hazard warranty, general would have helped ,but because the tire wasn't rated for the vehicle ,they couldn't. Bottom line shop at home the extra expense gets taken care of in service. DONT USE TIREBUYER.COM! It will cost you more in the long run. "
