"Bought a set of general grabber HTS lt truck SUV tires. I used the enter vehicle option and found tires but the size was wrong. I entered the size from the sticker on my door, in the Enter tire size option. I received the tires and had a puncture on a gravel county road. General told me to return to dealer to have them call general and they would see what they could do for me. (2 hr.drive) . Turned out the tires were not rated for my trucks weight. General said tire-buyer.com will have to replace it. Tire buyer said I ordered the wrong tire and that because the thirty day period was over they could or would not take them back. This was my first and last tirebuyer.com purchase. I only was looking to get some help on replacing a new ruined tire . Even though there is not a road hazard warranty, general would have helped ,but because the tire wasn't rated for the vehicle ,they couldn't. Bottom line shop at home the extra expense gets taken care of in service. DONT USE TIREBUYER.COM! It will cost you more in the long run. "
"I purchased new rims and tires for my new truck from tirebuyer.com and I can't complain about shipping speed or product quality - however, I will complain about their ability to run their business with integrity. They sent me tires AND rims that did not fit my truck! I had to pay an extra $200 for bolt on spacers for the rims and the tires still were rubbing on the fender walls, the fender, and hard enough to rub on the truck body. I instantly called tirebuyer.com to complain and spoke to a manager 'Allen' who told me exactly: 'GO TO HOME DEPOT AND BUY TRIMMING SHEARS AND CUT YOUR TRUCK FENDER AND FENDER WALL' - he seriously wanted me to cut my brand new trucks fender because they sent me the wrong tires - they refunded me exactly $175 of a $1500 purchase and told me to leave them alone. I was furious and 'Allen' wouldn't allow me to speak with anyone else, so I called their sales and spoke to another manager who told me they couldn't do anything about it and wouldn't refund my money.
This company has no clue what they are doing and STEAL people's hard earned money. What a shame people like this exist in business."
"I placed an order on Sunday for two tires. The delivery window was 1-3 Days. Tires are in stock. I didn't get an email confirmation until the next day. On tuesday I called to find out if the tires will ship Tuesday (same day I called).Lady said she will call the warehouse again and call me back within an hour. But an hour and 20 minutes had passed and I had to call back. Right before I called, I got another email order confirmation showing my order with a different number and the order date said Tuesday, not the Sunday when I ordered it. The REP said tires will ship today and come from NC, where I live. But the tires did not get on the Truck until the next morning (Wednesday) and shipped from SC, not NC. I checked the tracking and it said will arrive Friday after Thanksgiving. I was hoping to get the tires installed before I head out of town in the rain for Thanksgiving. should have gotten the tires by Wednesday.I remembered I ordered from TireRack.com and the tires arrived the very next day to my installer! But they charge for shipping, TireBuyer doesn't charge shipping and that's the only good thing bout it. I will Never order from tirebuyer again."
"My experience was positive just like Vlads. I got the tires that I wanted (five of 'em) at a price that I could afford. Got mine the next business day via FedEx. Oh I too paid sales tax since the items originated and were sold within the same state (Pennsylvania). I'll do more business with this company in the future and recommend them to my friends and family. "
"Ordered tires on 10/24/12 around lunch time, they were delivered by Fedex on the following day. I have bought tires from Tirerack.com before but this time tirebuyer.com was cheaper so I decided to give them a shot. The shipping was free but they did charge me tax because they claimed to have a warehouse in my area (DFW). I was a little skeptical about the warehouse in my area but looking at they shipping label where it was shipped from and how fast the tires arrived it makes sense why they charge tax. I would definitely check their tire prices next time I'm in the market for another set. Great service!"
