"I placed an order for tools. Paid for it, provided all of my information correct and after two weeks I was looking for my order and it was never sent. They claimed it was never sent because they could not verify my billing address. I checked my order and my billing address was correct. They offered no apology and just said we can ship it now. I asked them if they would cover expedited shipping since i waited two weeks and my order had not been sent. They said, we cannot offer that at this time. Just lousy, I will never give them business again.

"Orderd a ridged st305 trainsmiter they billed my card for it and i never did recive and now i am out of the 1300 dollars for this purchase. They claim fedex had diliverd it. Called fed ex up and was told they would have to make a claim. I did call them and they said they dont do claims with fedex, I am starting to belive that this is not a good company to buy from, they have poor customer service."
"Made a purchase in May for some tools and was initially charged via PayPal. Fast forward OVER 3 months and they charged my PayPal again because of a mixup between them and PayPal(after looking back apparently PayPal did not take the funds back then). Instead of giving customers time to come up with the money they email and say blah blah blah and then take payment the next day! What kind of company does that? You guys don't notice an issue until many months later and then expect immediate payment? That's crappy customer service and someone I will not be doing business with again! "
"I ordered a D handle Dewalt router five weeks ago. I did so after Toolup assured me they had one it stock and that it would be delivered within one week. Fast forward: no delivery, no notification from Toolup. I called 10 days ago. They said they needed to contaco Dewalt to cancel the hopelessly delayed order. Toolup said they'd call me back within several hours. Another fast forward - ten days later, I called them again and said I'd place a stop payment unless they confirmed my order was cancelled. Finally their supervisor confirmed cancellation. They admitted "we had a glitch in our inventory system" yet NO accommodation was offered despite mega delays and multiple failures to follow-up as promised. The result: this item is now late by at least 5 weeks. GOOD NEWS: I will now reorder the item from an alternative vendor and save myself $20. Tool up is Tool Down - Forever in My Book!"
"I order the item on June 24th, 2020, fast forward two weeks late, and I still have not received it. I contacted the customer service line directly on June 6th. The lady I spoke with on the phone informed me that the item was out of stock and they do not have any from the manufacturer. She said, I will check this for you; see when the shipment will come in and call back tomorrow. Tomorrow has gone, and past and I have not received the item. So I contacted through email, now I spoke with the service agent named Adam, who told me that the shipment should be coming in before the end of the week. I paid more for shipping than the item cost; I asked them to expedite the product since I had already spent an extreme amount for an item that I still had not received nor been informed that it was backordered or out of stock until I contacted them. Adam completely dismissed my request and sent a causal response that I should have known that it was backordered. Really? Do I know when your shipment of tools will be coming in from the manufacturer? NO. Am I an employee at toolup.com? NO. Possibly the worst customer service I have ever done business with. "
"Ordered item directly through their website (yes, leaving feedback here for buyers beware) I received a confirmation of the order then no other correspondence. I called the seller twice, was told the first time that the item would not be available until mid May (Ordered April 26) and called again in late May to be told it would ship the first week in June. To say the least it still has not arrived (June 23). Very disappointed in toolup.com. "
"On December 5th I ordered a DeWalt DWX726 Rolling Miter Saw Stand. Then I waited. I then contacted them from their website and on the 13th I received an email letting me know that my order was on back order and that they had received the stand on the 12th and are processing it. On December 21st the stand was delivered but it wasn't the stand I had ordered. It was the DeWalt DWX725 Heavy Duty Work Stand. You could see by the picture on the box that it wasn't what I had ordered. I replied to the "was on back order" email letting them know they sent the wrong stand. On the 23rd they responded asking for detailed pictures of the item which I had already attached to my email on the 21st. After informing them that they already had detailed pictures in my previous email they then issued me the prepaid return label. All I had to do was take the package to the nearest FedEx drop off location and send it back. On the 23rd of December I dropped off the package at a Dollar General which was only about 10 miles away so it wasn't that much of an inconvenience. On the 30th it was delivered to Toolup in Las Vegas, NV. On the 31st of December I received a refund rather than them actually sending me what I had ordered.
Don't get me wrong. I'm glad I at least got a refund and didn't have to fight for that. The problem is I needed a miter saw stand and they did not deliver on this. Add this on top of the poor communication, slow responses and a general ineptitude with online sales I will never order from them again. "
"Between tool up and federal express i'm pretty **** off. The fedex girl showed up saturday, knocked nearly inaudibly, and slapped a door tag on the glass, immediately leaving. I was at the door in under thirty seconds and she was already gone. The tag said a delivery attempt would be made on the next business day, Tuesday (the next business day is Monday). Fedex will not lift the signature requirement at the end user's request, so i contacted tool up. The idiot in customer disservice thought this was all pretty funny and accidentally hung up on me. When i called back he transferred me to his manager, and she told me that as a matter of "policy" they would not lift the signature requirement. I work for a living – i can't hang around the house waiting for the fifteen second window between fedex showing up and immediately splitting. Furthermore, the contract tool up has with fedex only delivers Tuesday through Saturday. She did kindly offer to have fedex return the item and issue me a refund. This conveniently coincides with the price of the item having jumped up twenty dollars the day after i ordered it. This company is a real piece of crap. I will never buy anything from these jerkoffs again."
"Unfortunately you have to use a star in order to leave a review. another contractor told me not to use this site because of the horrible customer service if something goes wrong. well it did. they ship by fedex and in order to get a tracking number you have to create an account on toolup. i didn't want to create an account so i just waited for the package. after some time i got a form email from tool up. click here if you received your item or call in 24 to 48 hours if you did not. i waited 48 hours and called. now they tell me I'm past the time limit to file a claim and have to go after fedex. i talked to three different people that told me they would have the manager Micheal call me back. well that never happened and i tried again multiple times to contact him. the last thing they told me was to file a dispute with my credit card company. they said the package showed up at my office door. I was here all day and there was no package.
