Total Vac quickly responded to my pre-order emails and kept me up to date on the orders progress from payment to when it was packed and shipped. A tracking number was supplied to further follow it.
The completed order was shipped the day it was placed and it was received quickly and very well packaged!
From my experience there is nothing needed for them to do to improve the process as they seem to have it down pat!
Service equal to this is not easy to find and I would most definitely order from them again!

"Dealing with Totalvac.com was infuriating. I ordered a Dyson DC14 Animal Refurbish from total vac which was said to be in stock and would ship within 3 days. After two weeks and several calls a package arrived with the wrong vacuum. It took three calls and several emails to get return shipping set up. I was told the correct vacuum would be sent out that day. After a week with nothing sent I called again to find out the vacuum was no longer available but they would substitute a comparable vacuum that would send the next day. Fast forward another week no vacuum. I called again to find out the substitute vacuum is back ordered. I asked to have the order canceled and the charges refunded. This never happened so I am now disputing the charges with the credit card company and still have no vacuum. I will never do business with them again."
"I had to write and add my comment on the slow shipping issue everyone is discussing. I did not have any problems with shipping. I placed my order on Monday 3/2/09, and when I arrived home Thursday evening 3/5/09, the box was waiting for me at the front door! I thought that was EXCELLENT fast shipping 3 days! Thanks TotalVac!"

"Ordered the Power Wheels 12 volt battery. Received a confirmation. That happened on the 25th. Didn't get an email that the item shipped until I called customer service on the 29th. Customer service was very helpful and courteous. After they shipped, got the battery quick. Price and shipping charges were competitive. Would give them five stars if I didn't have to call them to ship it. 3 business days tops from order to shipping. That's what makes a good company. Battery works great, Thanks :)"

I got a Sanyo SC-A114. I ordered belts from these guys because mine broke. I also got some bags with the order. Today being the 24th of April 2008 I get the bags and no belts. So I got 3 bags for a vacumm which has a broken belt.
Common sense should tell someone to maybe cancel the order since we dont have the belts for his/her vacuum cleaner.
Well WEll 4/26/08 and they sent me the belts. They didnt charge for shipping but I already ordered 2 packs (2 belts ea)of belts from another website. So now I got 1 pack of 3 vacuum bags and 6 belts. Gee I hope this sanyo vac dont burn out a motor:)

Was very pleased w/ this seller especially considering previous negative reviews regarding delays and misinformation about availability (maybe they've changed?). "I have to admit that I had some trepidation about placing an order with TotalVac.com after reading some of the input on this site, but, since the price was right, and since most of the negative reviews had to do with customer service and the time it took to receive an order with no one actually accusing TotalVac of fraud, and since I was in no particular hurry to receive the item, I decided to take a chance.
My experience places me in agreement with the majority of negative reviewers in that I would not be surprised to learn that the company is owned and operated by the Slowski family. I never tried to call or email their customer service about the order so I can’t comment on that. After placing my order I decided to just sit on my hands and wait to see what would happen.
Below is the chronology of the transaction.
Nov. 26, 2007: Order placed.
Confirmation message received almost immediately thanking me for my order.
Dec. 12, 2007: Received email message informing me that the item was temporarily out of stock and that it would be shipped as soon as it came in unless I chose to cancel the order.
Dec. 21, 2007: Received email message telling me that the item was now in stock and would be shipped soon. Later that same day I received a message with a DHL Smart Mail tracking number telling me that the item had indeed been shipped. I accessed the link provided to DHL to track the shipment but DHL had no record available for the tracking number provided. I tried daily thereafter to track the shipment but DHL still could not recognize the tracking number.
Dec. 26, 2007: DHL finally recognizes my tracking number and shows that the item was received and processed for shipment on Dec. 24.
Dec. 29, 2007: Order finally delivered to my home.

"I am kicking myself for not checking this site before ordering. Ordered on 4/24. Order confirmation received. on 5/4 sent email asking about the order, reply: "We are still waiting for ... to arrive here from our supplier. Once we receive it we will ship out your complete order. If you would like to cancel please let us know." Item is still not listed as back ordered. I sent them a reply on 5/5 for ETA. Will see and update. Meanwhile, of course they charged my credit card. Will see about that too.
8/10/07 Never received the order. They kept saying we don't have it in stock but the site kept showing in stock. finally cancelled on 5/7, they took their sweet time but finally refunded the money."
"A business which operates at the speed of continental drift. On the bright side this kind hearted organization does employ the severely disabled for answering phones and email. I envision their phone sitting next to a quadruplegic, catatonic, or coma patient which is really beautiful. Neither phones nor emails are actually answered but if you do leave repeated voicemails they will eventually ship your order without directly acknowledging that they received your communication (I love mystery!) This worked both for my original shipment 8 days after the order was placed and then again on the RMA required because the posted product information was incorrect (it only took 10 days to get the RMA number.)
So, if you would like to make a charitable contribution to support the care of minimally conscious persons- buy here! I hope my $3 handling fee and 15% restocking charge will help to buy new diapers for their staff."
"The price is good. The service is slow. Took 4 days to get a vacuum cleaner belt shipped, 4 more days for it to arrive. When I went to send an email to the customer service asking why I had not received a shipment notification after 3 days I read a note on the customer service page that stated to not even ask about orders until 4 business days have passed. On the fourth day I finally got a shipment notice, and I did get the product 8 days after I ordered it. I expected it in much less time."
