"I loved tradesy and preferred selling there over their competitors such as Poshmark. Recently Tradesy implemented a four day hold after buyer receives item versus past you could withdraw as soon as the tracking updated to show it's been sent. They also will be increasing commission to 14.9% versus the current 9%.
Doing a price compare to poshmark, which I also sell on, with the increased commission rate (14.9%) it essentially will cost the same to sell on Tradesy as it would be on poshmark. For an $80 item plus $6.00 USPS priority mail flat rate totaling $86.00, at the 14.9% will net a seller $64.69 (including the ACH transfer fee). Poshmark it would be $64.00. This along with the new four day hold policy doesn't make Tradesy competitive in the market. With Poshmark, I may get roughly one dollar less but I will have my money in my bank account within 5 days total, if not sooner. With Tradesy, the minimum number of days I will receive funds is 7 days but with my history with Tradesy sales in the past they were past their estimated 3-5day window to receive an ACH from them. With the new 4 day hold and the real dates I've received their ACH funds on prior sales, a seller is now looking at 11days to receive funds. Sorry Tradesy, you are no longer my first or second choice to sell my fashion items!"
"I cannot say enough good things about Tradesy! Their system is super user-friendly making it easy to buy and sell. But I have to highlight my experience of buying my wedding dress on Tradesy. I fell in love with the dress and had a great interaction with the buyer. However, when I received it, there was a bit of damage, and she'd listed the dress as 'like new', saying she had just worn it for her elopement. I contacted her and Tradesy at the same time to rectify the situation with some sort of refund. The seller was not cooperative and asked me to send the dress back. However, Tradesy contacted her directly to work out the situation. Because she had advertised it inaccurately, Tradesy was true to their word and refunded me $500! No further questions asked, no hassle, no nothing.. just great customer care from a company even when their sellers do not come through. A huge fan!"

Brand new to LV, and to Tradesy. I found a purse I was not looking for right away. The pictures were a great help, and I bit the bullet and bought it. Hoping this wasn't one of the times when the online item is no where near what you thought it was when it arrives, because this was a hefty investment. Hoping it didnt smell, which I didnt even think to ask about, and hoping it was big enough for my things. I emailed a bit with the seller asking about the strap. She was very pleasant and responsive. My new purse came in the mail today, and its SUPERB. Its not smelly, the purse looks great for being used, very impressed. I did order a strap extender from Etsy to go with this so I can use it as a cross body. But, I am very pleased with everything about this. Thank you! "
"I clearly have no reason to lie about my item being authentic on here. I sold a pair of Burberry shoes on tradesy that I purchased years ago and I got an email three weeks later that they allowed the buyer to return them because they were found to be inauthentic! Not only am I livid that they have falsely accused me of selling fake Burberry shoes I bought in a BURBERRY STORE but even more concerning is the fact that they made this mistake. How often do they think items are authentic that aren't since they clearly aren't professionals! I will never buy or sell on here again.
FYI they said part of the findings were the craftsmanship and you could see glue in some areas and maybe that was it, but I've had two Louis Vuitton shoes that have done the same thing after time. Professionals should know what happens to AUTHENTIC shoes after time. "

"I purchased a LV, before realizing I had purchased it! I asked for a receipt of original purchase, which seller could not provide. I received the $650 bag and found it to be a counterfeit/fake bag. I contacted Tradesy and the individual who sold me the bag. I sent the bag back to Tradesy and they claimed their "authentication" team found the bag to be authentic. I told them the LV store claimed the bag was fake, to which they replied "LV sales reps are not to authenticate a bag and only an LV craftsman can authentic a bag" Clearly if an LV rep is not qualified to authentic a bag, Tradesy is not qualified to authenticate a bag! They are NOT LV craftsman! They would not allow me to return the bag and would only issue me a credit. I asked for the bag back, so that I have evidence of their scam. I will be contacting a lawyer with the bag and emails from Tradesy. I also asked them to send me a letter of authenticity for this bag and they would not. BUYER BEWARE! Counterfeit bags are being sold for hundreds of dollars and the seller is protected with Tradesy's scam of a Customer Service. They claim 100 percent guarantee authentic and they are the "trained" ones authenticating the items! The Tradesy Authentication Member's name is Mandy and even had the nerve to send smiley faces in her response emails to my emails voicing frustration over this process!! This should show the unprofessionalism of this company and how it doesn't take the claims of selling counterfeit bags seriously. "
"I decided to make my first purchase on Tradesy - a pair of David Yurman earrings. The day after I completed my purchase (paid immediately), the seller cancelled the transaction, telling me she "meant" to list it for $100 more. Shady item #1 - Really? After the transaction is done, you decide, hey, maybe I coulda got more money so let me cancel... (Most likely hoping I'd fork over the extra $100. Nope.)
Then, I'm told I have to wait 2 - 3 business days for the refund. Yup. So, on the day of the transaction, Tradesy charges my credit card. Immediately. But then when the transaction is cancelled by their shady seller, they don't cancel the charge. And, apparently, the clock starts ticking from when the transaction was cancelled, not from when the purchase was made. I purchased the item Wednesday. Seller cancelled Thursday. It is now Sunday, and I'm still waiting. No rush getting me my $500 back. You just enjoy that interest-free loan.
And good luck getting through to customer service. Email is the only option, because the wait for chat is endless.
Buyer beware -- go to eBay or Etsy, MUCH more customer friendly!!!!!"

"This is the worse experience of used clothing online shopping websites I've ever had. I placed an order last Tuesday and contacted the seller to expedite the shipping. She agreed and assured me my order would be delivered this Tuesday since it's a Halloween costume and I needed it delivered on time. It's Thursday and I haven't received anything, not even tracking information. I've tried contacting the seller and she does not reply any of my messages. I also contacted the company and they are of no help either. They keep telling me that the only person able to cancel my order is the seller. I will never shop here again. "
"I had great luck with Tradesy in the past as a buyer. I was able to find shoes that were not on the store shelves anymore.
I have sold two items on Tradesy one without a problem at all the other was a completely different story.
I sold a pair of brand new shoes. They were listed as brand new but the condition I listed was gently used seeing as how they were on the shelf for awhile and I did not have the original box. They were sold and then I was credited my money two weeks later. A week later I got an email from Melissa (which I later read from reviewers on multiple sites that other customers received the SAME LETTER). The letter states "The item was returned and after a thorough inspection here at Tradesy, we determined that the listing wasn't accurate enough to give the buyer the full picture of the item's condition, and therefore a full refund was issued to them and the earnings were pulled from the sale:"
I contacted the buyer directly and here is why my buyer returned the shoes and what she had to say "There was nothing unclear about the listing. I thought they were lovely shoes and I wanted to wear them at my grandson's wedding. They matched my dress well. When I tried them on one of my toes felt pinched. Because I was going to be wearing them all day and dancing at night I knew they were not going to work. They are beautiful shoes and I wish they would have fit better."
According to Tradesy this should be a credit to her and then Tradesy has to resell the shoes.
I have gone back and forth with "Melissa" via email and asked for her number but she does not give it out. Along with another email stating "I would recommend listing these shoes in "Gently Used" condition, as there are normal signs of wear throughout them. Per our return policy, anytime an item is returned, it is checked for authenticity and misrepresentation. As the shoes are listed in "Like New" condition, but show signs of wear, we would consider this misrepresentation. "
Yesterday I received my shoes back these shoes have NEVER been worn and are the soles are SPOTLESS.
I can not get Tradesy to call me and I will NEVER buy another item on this site or sell another item. BEWARE
