Very Disappointed

"I am very disappointed in Tradesy. Their system did not give me my first time credit discount and I was told they would give me future credit. In theory that sounds like a great idea, but my purchase was a splurge, not something I normally or plan on doing again. They made the mistake not me, but I have to be out the discount. "

I used to love this site until recently. $500 went missing during trasnfer and they refused to do anyhting.

"I loved this site and bought and sole many products on this site I even recommended this site to many of my friends, until recently. I sold a Gucci bag for $550, and requested payout to my debit card. However, as I haven't used this site for a year my debit card info. on file was outdated (the card was canceled) and I didn't notice. I never received the money. I've been calling them and emailing them for over a month and this NEVER got resolved. Per their request, I've emailed them my bank statement, had a conference call with my bank on the line where they proved I never received my money, and even provided my SSN. Their customer service girls were friendly but were not helpful, so I asked to talk to their manager and had a conference call with the manager and my bank on the line per their request. However the manager was not helpful at all, after my bank confirmed to her that I never received my money due to the error in card number, she said there's nothing she could do, she would not provide information or prove of payment from their side, refused to contact their payment processor (Stripe). I then asked if she could contact the payment processor simply to REVERSE the transaction so that I could use the right card information to payout money again and she refused!! I was totally baffled. Now my $500 is gone!!! Will never use this site again!!!"

Tradesy allows sellers to OVERPRICE items and they're OK with that!!!

"While I have made purchases in the past to my satisfaction, I discovered recently while looking for a LV Neverfull bag that Tradesy openly allows sellers to overprice items. You can purchase a BRAND NEW Neverfull from Louis Vuitton directly for only slightly more than the very used ones they sell. Upon contacting Tradesy to confirm whether they are aware, they confirmed they are and took no responsibility for this mis-information, instead placing sole responsibility on their customers to do their homework. As a consumer, you look to the company selling the items to at least assist in putting you in the right direction and making you feel taken care of. Instead their response is "oh well, sellers can do what they want". BE CAREFUL! Clearly Tradesy does not do their own homework, instead allowing sellers to falsely represent items and sell them at inappropriate prices! "

"Be sure you know the rules of Tradesy. If the item is not what you thought it was you won't get your money back. Have searched their site to see if I could buy something and at least break even. However am afraid to do any further business with them. They have my money and I am screwed. "

Unprofessional with Odd Return Policy

"I was aware that they won't refund in original payment form unless the product was falsely advertised or misrepresented. However, I made a very large purchase and the item in my opinion was unquestionably a replica and not authentic. After I shipped the item back to Tradesy, they contacted me and stated that the item was authentic. I could not accept that, as I have owned many of the same item and know what an authentic item looks like. They refused to refund me even half the amount in original form, and left me with over $4000 in site credit. There was a misunderstanding with my credit card company and they pulled the funds from Tradesy, I did not mean to stop payment even though I was unhappy with them. However, before I could even straighten the issue out and have my credit card company issue the funds to Tradesy again, Tradesy suspended my account and even my mom's account- I guess because her billing address is the same as mine. Horrible way to treat customers even if there was a dispute. I would not want to work with a company like that ever again. "

Out of pocket and left with a dud dress

"I brought a dress of Tradesy and I live in Australia. This meant that the dress had not even reached me before the four days in which to return it was over, this was in part because the seller took so long in sending the dress. When the dress arrived it had significant damage to the neckline and beading on the gown, it was listed as 'as new' but it definitely wasn't. I contacted Tradesy within four days of me actually receiving the dress and made a complaint, they took over a week to respond and then their solution o the problem was for me to relist the item and that would recoup my costs. This however does not recoup my customs fees or shipping costs which were substantial. if I keep the dress I must pay a large sum to repair the dress, which i was not expecting or prepared for as the dress was listed 'as new'. Since the dress I received was not worth what I paid for it, I cannot re sell the dress for the same price I paid because of the damage it received before I purchased it but Tradesy does not seem to understand this and expected to scam another purchaser with a damaged dress just as I have been scammed. "

Do not buy

" I am speechless about tradesy. Sold Gucchi sunglasses, and later found out that they were returned for authentication. Today received a msg from tradesy saying that my Gucchi sunglasses are replica. I know my used items, i dont even know where do i go to buy replicas. Its very unfortunate that the brands team of tradesy is this incapable and incompetent. As the brands inspection team that is supposedly know how to "authenticate" an item, they should know better than anybody which one is fake and real. With this very low qualifications I dont believe tradesy's brands team even are qualified to determine any kind of authentication. How many people have been fooled by giving wrong "authentication". If there was somebody who was really selling a FAKE item, your brands team wouldnt be even able to know that, they will say its authentic. Now I know for sure there is no guarantee in the products your are selling.
Dont buy from tradesy, cause as far as i can see they are not capable to differentiate replicas from original. They are not reliable, don not buy anything on tradesy. No wonder some other websites have millions of customers cause those websites can for sure identify fake and real things.

Bad experience with Tradesy and JCOXO

"A Tradesy seller, JCOXO, advertised a particular backpack which she didn't have. I bought it. She didn't respond at all for five days. When she finally did, I didn't get her message saying that she didn't actually have the backpack that I had ordered... apparently Tradesy's messaging system doesn't reliably send emails. (I got some of her later messages but not all of them.) She sent me a different backpack even though I never agreed to receive a different item. She never sent me a tracking number. She never explained how to return the unwanted item. Her attitude was flip and dismissive. This was my first and last purchase on Tradesy."

"This is the second time I'd used Tradesy to buy my stuff, and first time used to the button "make an offer". I got curious in using it, so I made an offer which the seller accept it and immediately debited the money on my account I was a little disappointed tradesy shouldn't debited it and must ask for a permission first. Moving forward, when my goods were delivered it made me satisfied from what I received and its my money's worth."
