"I was so pleased with my purchase of vintage Chanel. The pictures and description of my bag were very accurate and I was even more pleased when it arrived. It's perfect ! The ordering and shipping was a breeze and this special bag was here in time for our 25 th anniversary. I will definitely be ordering again. Also, a special thanks for the detailed shipping information. I was able to track it from "door to door". "
"
Tradesy does not protect Buyer from Seller's lies!!!
Bought a shoes listed as new with tag and received a USED IN BAD CONDITION scratch and ruined; wRote a review and the website encouraged me to "give Tradesy another shot, as they have many sellers ..." As a understand they give a s*** if i am satisfied with my order or not after they got my money! "
"I sold a brand new authentic Louis Vuitton Neverfull pochette that I had purchased on 7/29 with my Neverfull. I listed the pochette that same day and included pics from all views of the item as well as a picture of the receipt. The buyer's only complaint when she received the item was that I did not send her a receipt. I never said I would send a receipt or copy thereof. This is not a valid reason for return, but Tradesy let the buyer do so and get her money back even after I sent proof of condition with a video taken prior to me shipping the item. Tradesy could care less about sellers."

"Hello, I purchased a gorgeous Kooba bag from the seller Strawberry Fields. My questions were answered very quickly and the transaction was flawless. I would buy from this seller again. Very pleasant to buy from. I am very pleased with my purchase and it was "exactly" as described. Thank you Strawberry Fields for the beautiful bag at a great price. So very pleased!"
"4-day return window is unreasonable, non-standard in the US, and not up-to-part with competitors. For example, if buyer is out-of-town or not home when product arrives, it's not feasible know within the 4-day window whether the product fits, is as-described, non damaged, etc. And with the variable delivery times, it's not possible to ensure that they will arrive at a time with buyer is in town.
I spent about a $1000 on three products, all of which either did not fit OR had other issues (unflattering shoulder pads no, smelled strongly of flea bomb spray). However, I was abroad when the items arrived and was not able to return them due to the 4-day window having passed. For this reason alone, I will not be using Tradesy again, or recommending it to others.
product selection is great, all products arrived."
“Hello nabilacynthia333,
We apologize for the negative situation, and are sorry to hear that our returns policy is not one you feel comfortable with. As we are a peer-to-peer marketplace, we try to ensure that we are being fair to both buyers and sellers on Tradesy. A seller's funds are not released to them until 4 days after a buyer has received their item. In the event that a buyer has concerns, or is unhappy with the item they have received, they may request to return the item to Tradesy. In the event that a Misrepresentation Claim is opened on the buyers end, the earnings from that sale are held until our Returns Team is able to process that return. At Tradesy, we feel that an item being in possession of a buyer for 4 full days before the seller is able to receive their earnings is more than fair. For a seller's earnings to be on hold until 4 days after a buyer gets back from a vacation is highly unfair as a vacation's duration may last for quite some time outside of the standard 4 day window.
We encourage all buyers to purchase items when they know they are going to be around to receive and inspect them. For any more information on our returns policy, we recommend checking out the following link:
https://www.tradesy.com/returns/
I hope this helps. If there's anything else we can help you with please feel free to contact us via phone M-F 8AM-4PM PST 844-988-7233 or email at team@tradesy.com ”

"I have still to receive my one item. To that I say, there had been zero communication on the seller's part about when it might ship and a tracking # if it had shipped. I also bought a second item from this seller. The next a.m. I see that the sale of the one item was almost immediately canceled the night before with no explanation or communication, Just an email message, 'the seller has canceled your order'. I find this a huge turn-off and unacceptable.
Then I find out that this seller has a second listing for this same identical blouse, same size. They also have other sizes listed. The prices are all varying. The blouse that was still there cost $7.00 more than the one I purchased that was cancelled.
I sent a message to Tradesy and to the seller. Within a couple days I got responses. Tradesy said they were going to look into this. The seller said that the reason the sale was cancelled was because the item was no longer available? What? I see it available on their site for a higher price. Through numerous correspondences I finally find out, they cross list, they aren't able to keep up with updating the items that sell on other platforms, so even tho you see it listed on Tradesy it may not even be available anymore. I had spent a good TWO HOURS going thru the many pages on Tradesy to find this blouse. The other was not my top choice. The canceled one was needed for a wedding that will soon be here and now those hours of searching, wasted, plus I had no idea when the second blouse would be sent or arrive. As far as the first blouse, the company still is standing by the fact that the item # I purchased was no longer available, not that I will do what is right and sell you the same blouse that we have listed for $7 more for the price you expected to pay for it.
I am used to selling and buying on eBay. This type of treatment to a customer is definitely not acceptable there. eBay actually goes overboard on the buyers part I think to protect them and holds sellers to overly high standards. Cross-listing of items that are limited in stock is completely discouraged because of issues like this.
The one thing that made this a 2 star rating instead of a 1 star was that Tradesy stepped up and gave me a $7 credit for the difference between the two blouses - the one I purchased that was 'no longer available' and the one that is identical and still available (OR is it?). I would have preferred to rate Tradesy separately from my experience with this seller on Tradesy, but I do not have this opportunity. I'd give Tradesy a 3.5 - they have work to do to make their site more customer friendly and easier to use (to narrow down items so you don't have to spend 2 hours going thru pages of items in the wrong size for instance) and also because they need to hold sellers to higher standards. They gave me a credit I was not expecting which I was pleased with. This brought my rating for them a bit higher for sure. I have not received the other item which I may not keep if the fit is off and because it was a spare for other occasions and is not appropriate for what I needed for the wedding.
The buyer, I would not recommend. They have many thousands of items listed but if they are going to continue to cross list and have unavailable items displayed on Tradesy, shame on them. If they refuse to be accountable for their actions, shame on them. They need to be customer friendly, they need to step up their communication and speed up their shipping.
I cannot comment on how returns went or will go if necessary. I hope I have no issues if I do need to return the one item. I knew I wasn't thrilled with getting credit if a return was necessary, but I was curious about this new selling platform I just stumbled upon thru google and thought I had found the blouse I needed for this wedding...."
"I decided to splurge and treat myself for my birthday by purchasing a "like new," "no signs of wear" Helmut Lang leather jacket from tradesy. This was my first purchase from the site and my LAST! I received the item today and it was NOTHING like it was described to be. The jacket had food (yes dried crusty food) on the arm, there were underarm stains, substantial pilling and stretching of the inner lining, TWO noticeable repairs to the lining of one sleeve AND it was missing the only button that holds the jacket closed leaving many holes in the leather from where the button was supposed to be. Upon contacting tradesy I was informed that I now have to ship the item back, (a pain without a printer or computer) wait for them to receive it, then wait for them to review the item to come to the conclusion that it was grossly misrepresented, and then I'm told I have to wait 7-10 business days for them to potentially refund my money. I asked if this could be changed due to the massive misrepresentation of the item and I was not worked with at all after calling and waiting on hold three times. I have NO idea how they screen their sellers (if at all) and I would NEVER recommend this site to ANYONE! Unless of course you can afford to have your money **** for a month by something that was vastly and grossly misrepresented on their site. From my experience they shouldn't be accredited. I hope this helps future buyers because its been a HORRIBLE experience."

"Finally bought a LV from Tradesy and I LOVE LOVE LOVE. I got the bag quick and am very happy with all aspects of my dealing with Tradesy. Cant wait till Christmas! lol"
"I HAVE BEEN A NEW SELLER ON TRADESY FOR RECENT 2 MONTHS. PREVIOUSLY, I HAVE BEEN SELLING ON EBAY. I DECIDE TO WORK ON TRADESY TO TRY OUT THIS NEW PLATFORM. IT TURNS OUT THAT THEY ARE A HUGE THEF. I EARNED A LOT OF MONEY FOR THEM BECAUSE THEY TAKE 12% ON EVERY SALE I MADE. WHEN I WAS WITHDRAWING MY MONEY FROM THEIR SYSTEM, SUDDENLY, THEY SUSPEND MY ACCOUNT AND TAKE ALL MY MONEY (MORE THAN $1,500). THESE PEOPLE ARE STEALERS. THEY HAVE NO MORAL. THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY. TRADESY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR STEALING THEIR PARTNERS MONEY.
IT IS ABSURD AND UNBELIEVABLE TO SEE TRADESY HAS A 8 STAR REVIEW HERE. WITH ALL THE MONEY THEY ARE STEALING FROM THEIR PARTNERS, I BET IT IS NOT HARD AT ALL TO BUY FAKE REVIEWS FROM CLICK FARMS. TRADESY IS A REAL FRAUD. "

" Email me if you know how I can press charges
Address at bottom.
THIS IS AFTER THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL THAT I OWE THEM MONEY. I HAVE 7 PIECES OF DOCUMENTATION FROM THEM AND-MY BANK RECORDS THAT I RECEIVED NO MONEY FROM THEM AND THEY ARE HOLDING MY GREAT GRANDMA'S WEDDING SET. THEY HAVE BLOCKED MY PHONE NUMBER AND SUSPENDED ACCOUNT. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO PRESS CHARGES AGAINST THEM?
First, I am attaching 3 emails from Tradesy clearly stating that I have received ZERO funds from Tradesy. Also, attached is the bank statement from the account number (it is on the document) that the funds would have gone into.
Second, as you can see in tracking and return request this buyer requested return PRIOR to receiving the rings. I paid extra for signature at delivery and her return request and your email were 4 hours before she signed for them.
Finally, I have notarized, photographed appraisals of these rings. They were shipped as exactly as I described and advertised. What
Is my guarantee that a buyer that already lied about having the rings prior to receipts, and then had them for 4 days before receiving your packaging, has not alterered or replaced muly great grandmother's wedding rings?
I NEVER RECEIVED A DIME FROM YOU. I AM SENDING A SCREEN SHOT OF ALL OF MY TRANSACTIONS TO THE ACCOUNT THAT YOU NEVER DEPOSITED MONEY INTO.
Send tracking info for both of my rings or I am filing charges immediately.

"I received my bag today and it was beyond what I expected. I received a brand new gorgeous bag for a fraction of the original cost. The seller was very helpful along the way and she kept me informed quickly right after the sale. She was very nice and well organized. She's an A++ seller and I hope to do business with her again."
"THIS SITE CANNOT BE TRUSTED. THEY OBVIOUSLY CONDONE SELLING FAKES. THE SITE SAYS THEY GUARANTEE AUTHENTICITY OF THE BAGS SOLD HERE. I RECEIVED A FAKE, PLASTIC, RUSTED LOUIS VUITTON BAG THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY A FAKE, THEY TOLD ME IT WAS FOUND TO BE AUTHENTIC. THEY WILL NOT RETURN MY MONEY. YOU MAY AS WELL GO TO CHINA TOWN AND BUY A BAG. DO NOT SPEND A DIME ON THIS SITE! "
“Hello getintododge,
We guarantee that you receive an authentic item or your money back. Our authenticators authenticate all of the listings on Tradesy, but in the case that a seller somehow manages to ship out an inauthentic item, we ensure that the buyer will be refunded in full and the seller removed from selling on Tradesy.

"At this point, I am beyond livid. This is my seventh time contacting you to try to resolve this since Sunday and I got nothing so far! My postings are still being removed once again today! If you have time to do that and prevent my legitimate sales, why couldn't you contact me back?! I have emailed and was directed to right a different email. I tried the chat. The staff told me I needed to email the trust team and she could not forward my concern to them. I emailed trust and waited another 24 hours, but nothing as the page promised to respond within 24 hours. I called your phone number and waited 30 minutes. When it was my turn, it hung up! I called again, same thing! All of my postings were gone four days ago without any notice or investigation to contact me. I have all the proof of purchase for my sales. This is preposterous! I tried to follow up and there was nothing! I reposted some of them and it happened again! I am trying to find some answer. Terrible customer service!"
“Hello Pegk,
I am sorry that you have not received a reply from our Trust Team. "I have bought two things from this website and although for the first dress I had a good experience given that there were no misrepresentations from listing vs the product/item received, it was my second purchase that was the huge eye opener that showed me just how much of a scam this website is. Not only did they arbitrarily "decide" to not give me my money back for a product which had a CLEARLY misrepresented size, now they are taking FOREVER to send me my item back. It has already been 2 weeks (way past the normal 5-7 business days that mail usually takes). Terrible!! So untrustworthy!!!
God forbid you purchase an item that is not delivered as expected from the listing because they will NOT give you your money back. Tradesy claims that they will refund money according to "certain guidelines" but these guidelines are subjectively determined within their own company and disregard ANYTHING that try to show as support (I sent them pictures of dress and order confirmation that clearly showed a difference from the listing to product received). Then, you are left with only two options: getting site credit or sending you the item back. So here I am 2 weeks and 4 days later still waiting for my item to get back.
Lastly, customer service was SHADY to say the least. They took weeks to respond to my emails!! It has been one of the most frustrating online shopping experiences of my life. This has been an ongoing headache since MAY!!!! To make things even worse, Melissa, the girl I corresponded with through their ****@**** email was very rude and never even acknowledged any of the proof I sent her from pictures I took of the dress and my order confirmation email that CLEARLY proved there was a size misrepresentation. SHADY SHADY SHADY.
If you are willing to gamble with your money then shopping here is fine, but don't expect to get refunds or money back if an item does not arrive the way it was supposed to. "
