From broken to fixed

"The elliptical belt was slipping making my exercise routine difficult. I stayed to tighten the belt and it broke. After a little searching, the treadmill doctor had exactly what I needed. It was here in no time. I was able to install it and have been back at my Exercise routine with success. "

Better diagnosis

"Only complaint is that they could have done some quick questions to determine that there was a switch that triggered and needed to be reset. I was led to believe it was probably the board that was bad. So I bought it, had it shipped and then had to send it back and pay a restocking fee. That did not make me happy. I figured out myself about the switch resolution. I only wished I figured that out before buying the board."

“Thank you for your 2 Star Review, your opinion is valued greatly. I have been a certified technician for over 35 years with vast experience with these units. We do want to express the fact that the circuit breaker tripped indicates high resistance. Your controller is the next thing to go most likely if kept in same condition. More than likely your treadmill's high resistance is caused by dry/worn walking belt (without knowing all the facts, how old, how many miles on unit currently, what environment the unit has been in, what the heaviest user's weight is, if you can see shinny patterns on the walk belt, etc.) The controller is the part that takes all the heat and friction and will generally act up then not work and fail. Please feel free to reach out to me directly as I have left you a personal message with my contact information for further free technical assistance. Thank you for your feedback and our staff has been coached on making sure all options are covered such as: unit is plugged into wall outlet for power, the on/off switch is on, safety key is in correct position, check circuit breaker to make sure it is not tripped (again when tripped it is a definite sign of high resistance) We apologize you are not satisfied with the restocking fee, however it is necessary and customary.
