"Ordered an exercise bike thru Groupon on 1/12/12. Had to pay an extra $40 for shipping to RedTag.com. Their site says 2-4 days after purchase to ship and a confirmation email with tracking would be provided. I received no email, no tracking numbers, and when going to check my account it went from "in process" to "shipped" and back to "in process" again with a note to call Groupon. Almost a full month later I still have no product and neither Groupon nor RedTag can confirm that the order was ever even processed at all. Emails got absolutely NO response. After waiting for a half hour on hold by phone, RedTag says they "can't call their own warehouse to see if it was processed" and that they "have to contact them by email"....WHAT???? What retailer or shipper operates like this???? I contacted Groupon today to ask for a refund and got no response. Maybe another month and I should check back to see if they know whether they have credited my card back - or if that is a mystery to them too.
UPDATE: Received this from Groupon Customer Service tonight. In short, they have added fine print to their deal that was not previously there. Regardless, it is still well outside the shipping time that they say they've stated. Still no shipping confirmation email and no tracking info. Yet they won't cancel and want me to wait until I receive it (???) to ship it back for a refund. Meanwhile, my credit card was charged at the time of purchase by both companies. STAY AWAY FROM THESE 2 COMPANIES AT ALL COSTS. The discounted you might get is simply NOT worth having to chase down your purchase.
RESPONSE FROM GROUPON:
Once again, I'm sorry for the delay in tracking information. There seems like there might be some confusion about the shipping time. The Fine Print of this deal states "Ships out in 10-14 business days from purchase date." I'm not sure what the source was for the 2-4 day shipping time that you are citing. Did someone from Groupon provide you with that information?
I am happy to help you with this refund and will of course stick with you on this issue until it gets resolved. However, there is a protocol for Groupon Goods returns that we have to follow in this instance.
Groupon Goods can only be returned for a refund within 14 days of the product's arrival. Once they business has received your return, they notify us, and we'll issue the refund.
The only amount we can refund is the $295 that you paid to Groupon. If you wish to get a refund for the shipping charge, you'll need to contact Red Tag.
I'm sorry that I'm unable to issue your refund immediately, but I'd like to reiterate that I am working to resolve your issue as soon as I can within the Goods return procedure.

"Bought a Groupon for an iLuv iPhone clock radio. After 30 days I still do not have my item. I emailed redtag.com and UBid.com. After the third email they finally responded to me with a "case number" for all the good it has done me. I have sent multiple emails since that have gone unanswered. If I try to call them they only direct me back to Groupon. I'm going to file a claim through Groupon but, even if they refund my money, I'm still out the shipping and handling charges that I had to pay for outside the Groupon transaction. I work in the customer service industry and the WORST thing you can do is ignore a customer when they have a problem."

Well my son got a piece of crap for Christmas. It died if you unplugged it, the screen has lines going down the front of it. "The merchant, ubid.com, delivered a laptop computer that was not the product that was ordered. After review of this merchant online at this site and through the BBB I have found this to be a very frequent practice by the merchant. The product, a laptop computer, that was delivered was of an inferior quality and worth only half of the value of the product that was ordered. The company has a history of not refunding the customer after there has been a dispute. Though they advertise a A+ rating with the BBB, The BBB site lists the company as unrated. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB. This product was shipped from their warehouse, and the product was clearly marked as being a product other that the product that was ordered. "Ordered the Groupon blueray deal on redtag, ubid's DOD site. Site claims will ship 2-4 days, emailed them twice , still no reply to my emails. Status says "at supplier's warehouse'.
I understand if it may take some time to ship out, but at least reply to my multiple emails.

UBid is one of those shady companies. They attempt (and sorry to say succeeded) to sell you products at cheaper prices than their competitors. These so called deals are nothing more than a scam. I called UBid, only to be on hold for over 48 minutes before a representative answered the phone. When I explained the situation:
Purchased a Toshiba Camileo S30:
Box looked as if it had been opened before and resealed,
Tried to charge the Camcorder battery, but the model was broke.
The screen/camcorder would on turn on with the A/C cord attached.
After I had explained this to the representative, he told me to hold on. After another 5 minutes of wait time, he came back and gave me the number to Groupon. He told me that since I bought the offer through Groupon, they were the one's responsible for refunding my money. Since I couldn't remember if I had purchased a Groupon for UBid, I accepted the number after expressing my disappointment with UBid's products that they sell. He had told me "Sir, don't go there!" as if he was the one who had purchased a product and received a broken one.
I called Groupon, only to find out that I didn't purchase a UBid Groupon, and they didn't have any history of selling any UBid Groupons in the past.
I had to spend another 1+ hour of time on hold to get back in touch with UBid Customer Service. Once on the phone with them again, I asked to return the product I purchased and was put on hold again. After finally coming back to the phone, the representative told me that they didn't have any batteries in stock for that camcorder. I told him I didn't want a new battery, just to return the item. He finally sent me a RMA number which I printed out and returned. Hopefully I will receive a full refund shortly.
In short, I would highly recommend NOT buying anything from UBid, their customer service is absolutely horrible and you will not get the product that you actually bought."

Upon opening the shipping pouch, I am immediately disappointed to see the word "Refurbished" on the box. (shame on me for not seeing the 'fine print' obscurely located and identified as ['Mfr Recertified' ].)
The refurbished box contained the camera, battery and charger, USB cable, strap and the Fuji finePics CD
There is no Memory Stick in Camera and it is unuseable as received.
I did not get any of the ~5 BONUS ITEMS...the order was to consist of:
