"I ordered a Panasonic DMC-FZ50. This store had the best price I could find. Shipment was very quick. There was no shipping charge. Website stated that I would get a free camera case thrown in. Everything but the camera case arrived very quickly in good shape. I emailed about the camera case to see if they had run out or I had messed up somehow. Within an hour I had an email from manager apologizing for not including the case and another email showing that I was being shipped a Deluxe SLR camera case free of charge. I would definitely do business with this company again. Very happy with this store."

"excellent, they really helped me a lot. was recommended to me by one of my film studies professors. first ordered a package of accessories which ended up being wrong because the package listed under the video camera on the website did not have lenses or battery that fit that camera. called them up, they changed the website, and i returned the wrong stuff for the right stuff no hassle and they were pleasant every time of the many times i called them. asked them about the Canon GL2 and how I had ordered it from another online vendor for an insanely low price. they warned me that it must be a scam or something so I checked that vendors ratings more thoroughly and found horrible things (one should read reviews and check up on the company for any online transaction) and I cancelled my order with that vendor. Looked at the reviews for us1camera.com and found similar bad reviews but not in the same quantity as the other vendor. called them and questioned them about those reviews and they said that the website had just been bought by photomania (an authorized Canon dealer) and that all those reviews were from before they had bought the website three months ago (which checked out). ordered my Canon GL2 from them because they had a great price and had helped me out so much previously. I received my camera, fresh in the box with all the cables etc., yesterday which was twice as quick as i expected it to come. five stars. only complaint is that two of the boxes were slightly damaged when i opened the package of accessories, but since the products inside were fine it was no big deal. accessories were also a bit expensive so shop around. dedicated to customer satisfaction"

"I have multiple problems with this site. First after confriming a price on line and receiveing an e-mail confirming my order at the price listed I received a second e-mail instructing me to call in to complete my order. When I called them they (James) went into an immediate hard sell for accessories that I did not need. In addition they doubled the shipping cost that was shown on the web site. Also tried to sell me a over priced extended warranty. In the end the price was 25% higher than the listed web site price. When I said I need to get back to them to confirm if I needed the waranty they said they only had two more items on the shelf and that they would probably be gone. Upon my return call to cancel the order they said they would forward a cancellation form which I recieved but it stated that I would be charged a 10% cancellation fee (almost $300)!!!! NOT. Keep in mind this entire transaction spanned a total of 10 minutes. I crossed off the cancelleation fee wrote and explanation why I should not be charged the 10% then signed the cancellation form and returned it to the company. I also contacted my creidt card company. Time will tell if they attempt tocharge my credit card. Buyer beware!!! "

"I was looking to pick up an HDV camera and had to call to confirm order and got a sales pitch for extra battery and warranty which I refused. A day later after requesting a status update, I was then told the item was on back order and would take several weeks (no mention on website or during confirm. call) I promptly cancelled the order as I couldn't afford to wait that long."

"OH MY GOD! THE WORST! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU SAVE!

I thought I'd give them a chance since their prices were pretty good. I ordered my camera on 04/09. Confirmed my order the next day with a salesman trying to fool me that the upgrades didn't cost anything (thank god i asked). The confirmation is only for them to try to sell you more stuff. Totally not necessary.

THREE WEEKS LATER AND STILL NO CAMERA. I e-mailed them 3 times and no reply. My last letter to them was very theatning and they still didn't reply.

Called them (got a rude response), got passed around, and then finally they said that they were waiting for the camera to arrive to their building. The ad said that it was in stock.

I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVERY AGAIN! In fact, I think I will report them to BBB.

"I had read several negative reviews, but figured I'd give it a shot. After placing my order, received email that I needed to call to confirm. Made the call and experienced rude, high pressure sales on extended warranty and overpriced accessories. When I declined, was told I'd need to pay via wire transfer, with an additional 9.5% "insurance" fee (in addition to the standard shipping fee). Refused to do so, and after much haggling was told that order would be processed as originally placed.

A week later I had not received any shipping confirmation, nor had my credit card been charged, and attempts to get more information via email were ignored. Finally managed to get a representative on the phone, and was told that the TV was back ordered and would not be available for at least two weeks. When I mentioned that, during the earlier call, the salesman had promised that by purchasing the extended warranty the TV would ship the same day, the rep. called me a liar, stated he would cancel my order, then hung up on me.

Two days later, received another call from a sales rep. threatening to charge me a "cancellation fee" -- for the order they cancelled -- if I didn't change a negative review I had posted to another site. Also claimed that the TV had shipped, though he couldn't provide a tracking number, and the shipment would now be turned around (again, unless I gave them a good rating).

This company is a complete scam. They are rude and threatening, try to lure you in with good prices and then attempt every trick in the book to charge you more. They clearly had no intention of selling me a TV unless I purchased the expensive warranty or overpriced accessories. Don't be fooled by their advertized prices; it's bait and switch all the way! I've done a lot of online shopping over the years, and this is the worst experience I've ever had, bar none. Save yourself the time and aggravation, and find a reputable vendor to do business with. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

"Hard upsale tactics and poor follow up communications and shipping. Its been 7 days (5 business days) and no confirmation of shipment even though I was talked into paying for "expedited shipment." "I bought a Canon 5D SLR for my boyfriend for Christmas and I looked high and low for a good price. Amazon's price was $3,299.99 - same as most sites around Christmas. I found US1Camera.com via pricegrabber for $2895.95 and it assured me that is came with a Canon Manufacturer Warranty and was not refurb or anything! The shipping was cheap as well. I was a bit skeptical when I read the reviews but I had called my CC company to review my policy of scandals.

I nervously ordered it and I did get an e-mail saying to call to confirm the order. From the reviews, I knew I was to expect high pressure upgrades. I declined every offer and laughed abit. I told the sales rep that this camera is a gift and it was "already out of my budget" to buy him anything else. I also told the sales rep that there was no more room left on my credit card to add more stuff anyway. In short, I gave him the "I'm a broke student" excuse. He was polite and angry about it at the same time and got off the phone with me.

It arrived about a week later in 100% GREAT CONDITION. The US Warranty, no smudges on instruction phamplets, you can tell it came straight from Canon... everything was there. I dunno what the big deal was. I was trippin' over nothing. I would buy from them again. I saved $400!!!! WOOOOHOOOOO!

BTW, I did find a cheaper camera for $2800, but it came with an Canon African Warranty. I kid you not!!!!

"THIEVES! Their site said the item would take up to 72 hours to be processed and shipped. In the event of a delay, EVERY EFFORT would be made to contact the buyer to inform of the delay. As of the 28th, the item had not been shipped and no contact was made. I called to cancel the order, and all of a sudden, they said the item would be shipped the next day. I told them I was not interested. They said they would send me an e-mail with the cancellation number. Instead, they debited my card. I have to contact my bank and Mastercard to get my money back. BEWARE!"

"I placed my order on 10/21/05 for a Nikon Coolpix 8800 Camera. I was called the next day from a US1 salesman trying to sell me a wide-angle and telephoto converted kit at an outrageous price and I turned it down. I called them a week later and I was told the camera was back-ordered even though the website still said it was in stock and the price was increased by over a hundred dollars. I called them back early December and the salesman said he had 2 in stock but when I told him that I had an order that I placed in October at a much lower price and he hanged up on me. In the meantime I have missed the rebate from Nikon on this camera which ends at 12/31/05.
I would not recommend anyone to buy from this store. The salesmen all lied through their teeth and would not honor any earlier orders which were at a lower price. Don't do any business with this store at all. You will save a lot of aggrevation.

"I purchased a digital camera from them, enticed by the relatively lower price from the price comparison websites. Within 24 hours, I received an email saying that there was a verification problem with my credit card and needed to call them. I called that same day, the rep asked me for the verification number from my card which I gladly supplied.

But then he started hounding me on buying overpriced accessories and warranties. Being somebody that usually buys warranties (I've had prior experiences with faulty equipment) I bought the warranty. However, it took me over 10 minutes to convince him that I didn't want to buy a memory card from him that I knew was ridiculously overpriced from some no-name brand.

He threw in overnight shipping (probably because I caved in with the warranty) and I indeed received the camera the next day However, the warranty that was sent was for cameras under $1000 (The one I purchased is close to $2000). I emailed them asking to get this replaced with the correct warranty, but still have not received a response.

Several days later, after I returned from a trip, I came back to discover that my credit card information had been used to make online fraudulent purchases while I was away.

That's all I have to say about that.

"Obviously this is a sketchy company. That is apparent from their barebones website and ambiguous product descriptions on certain accessories. It's kind of funny that the reviewers below were surprised about this.

I would still recommend them if you're careful. I bought a $530 camera lens from them which normally sells for $600. It arrived fine, and had nothing wrong with the product. They also had very cheap shipping that was relatively fast.

As said in other reviews though, they *will* send you an email saying your credit card verification failed. This is just to get you to call them so they can try to sell you overpriced accessories. Just say no (pretend you already have them or something).

And as with all online merchants, if they don't ship your order and provide a tracking number within 2 days, cancel the order and notify your credit card company.

"This is false advertistment. They only sell you anything with extra warranty on it. If you don't order the extra warrenty, they will keep telling you that is back order until you cancel the order. For the past two months, I keep calling them everyweek and they just telling me that is back order. But if you call the customer line, they will say that is in stock. Then, after two months of ordering it, the customer telling me that I am not their customer any more. What a service? When I ask for a manager, they told me that the manager is not going to talk with me."
