"My experience is limited to ordering online, paying with my credit card, and checking on progress of the anticipated arrival of a shipment. The item I ordered was not in stock, but a delivery was expected January 1st--which is right now. Had hoped it would be available for Christmas. The company has been most helpful in checking on the progress of the shipment, but until the shipment has arrived, and actually delivered to my home, I reserve my final judgment. "The worst service ever seen!!!! They took over 70 days to completely deliver an order that was supposed to be delivered in less than 10 days!!! A stove was delivered 3 times damaged!!!! They would only call me to advise time of delivery the NIGHT before, and since I live in a condo and had to reserve elevator, it was a hassle."
"I ordered a Cuisinart Electric Knife from them. The Cuisinart box had a green sticker on it indicating it was returned defective. I opened the box and found the wooden block defective. In looking at their website, it didn't say they marketed returned merchandise. Before filing a formal complaint with the Michigan State Attorney General, I contacted their chat line. I've found many blogs where other consumers seem to have complaints about their purchases from US-Appliance. They claim they don’t sell defective or returned merchandise. They tried to refer me to someone else to register my complaint. I was in customer service for many years. I know that tactic. I strongly discourage anyone from doing business with US-Appliance. Their prices may be low, but you'll pay in other respects.
Status update as of 12-21-2013: I reached US Appliance by phone, and explained to them that the green sticker adhered to the side of the box indicated the product had been returned - defective. The rep said they did not sell returned merchandise, however I'm sitting here with a Cuisinart box with a fluorescent green label on the side that says the product is returned defective. Anyway, after a lot of back and forth, the company offered to credit my credit card, and provided the procedures to return the product. "
