"Exceedingly poor service. Waiting three weeks now on order and not even received by DPD for onward delivery in UK, though payment debited from account immediately on order. Customer service next to useless, auto-response to specific emails, telephone calls not answered. Highly frustrating and beginning to feel I have simply been 'mugged' for £200....
UPDATE: 2 days on (23 days from original order), having asked VB for PROOF that order has dispatched, assured that package has now been released form UK customs. Issued with tracking number for 'aftership.com' - exactly same ref. as previously issued for DPD. Unsurprisingly, neither tracking method indicates any change in status. Criminally fraudulent or shambolically incompetent, either way, wouldn't wish the experience on anyone.
UPDATE 2: Order finally arrived after 23 days! So (with regard to the above) shambolic and incompetent as opposed to fraudulent. To be honest, unless you have the patience of a saint, I'd pay the extra cash to a reliable supplier and save myself the hassle. Lesson learnt."

"Absolutely awful. I placed my order with credit card payment on September 1st. I was told that there was a problem in the warehouse and delivery would be delayed.
A couple of days later I was informed that the item ordered was out of stock. An alternative was offered which I refused. On 14th September I sent an email cancelling the order and requesting a refund. I received an email on 15th advising that the refund was being processed and could take up to 7 days to appear on my statement. I am still waiting."

"Extremely poor service, order item paid on 21st August, order status was "order approved" for 4 days, then order status was "your order item being prepared" for 3 days, then order status was "on hold" for 5 days due to item price was different BUT after 7 days since order was placed on 21st August. I selected another item and made extra payment on 1st September. Order status cycle was exactly same. Support team kept on saying that your order is on high priority but it took another 15 days to deliver my item. I will never buy from valuebasket again and I have told all of my friends as well about your poor, useless service. and also cheating people by changing price."
