"Transaction declined after having to send in personal information. No reason given (explicitly). This has never happened to me before. A phone call would have been helpful and polite. A second attempted purchase followed the same rigmarole. Very suspicious that personal information will be used illegally. Very suspicious."

"The backend support is terrible. If you get the right product you will not experience a problem but I got the wrong version. I ordered android but got iPhone version of Boss earplugs costing around RM 1200. I called the same day I received it. Was asked to log a problem ticket which I did and did another after a few days when nothing happened. Today is 8 days after logging my case but no one has called me on this. I just received 2 emails saying my case has been escalated and someone will call. So their promise on money back guarantee and 24 to 48 hours sla is not true. They just make you chase. All they had to do is replace the iPhone version with the Android version. Don't see what the fuss is all about...I have not even opened the package so it is good as new. I AM TERRIBLY UPSET WITH VALUEBASKET. The 1st and last time I will use the site."

"It is over three weeks since I ordered a camera from ValueBasket. The camera has not been delivered and I doubt whether, in fact, they have one in stock. Despite my request, my money has not been refunded, so I have paid for a camera which has not been delivered. The support line is useless in rectifying the problem and I have been strung along with meaningless talk about dispatch dates which are not adhered to and false assurances that my order has been 'prioritised'. It is hard to say whether Value Basket is grossly incompetent, corrupt, or both, but in either case I would strongly caution any prospective buyers of products from Value Basket against using their services."

"My concerns/question were addressed quickly before I placed my order. The camera arrived in good time and very well packaged, with the correct language manual and multi region power adapter. The only thing wrong was the invoice I received, which was in HKD rather than Australian dollars. This is not a problem as I do not need the invoice for anything (tax, depreciation, claiming back etc), but I'm sure if I did they would rectify it for me. Overall I am happy with the experience and would use them again."
