"horrible store ! ! avoided it like the plague ! !

February 21 , I had the imprudence to buy at this horrible valuebasket phone for 212 evro.Oni promised to send within 2-4 days , but today is March 12 , but the phone no one has yet sent and who knows whether sent at all! All my pisma.s explanation of the situation , only an apology and a promise that is about to be sent and that my order has priority and would be sent out of the lineup , but for 20 days no one otpravlyaet.Oni brazenly and shamelessly lie and feed obeschaniyami.Ne fall into their prices , they are not worth the time and nerves ! Better to go to the store and pay the money , even for 50-60 euros more expensive , but you will immediately hand in the desired thing you can test and evaluate yourself , and then any money or things. Valuebasket solid and brazen deception scam where they steal your money! avoided it like a contagious disease!

"Avoid! I ordered a smart phone from valuebasket.com with delivery promise of 7-9 days. After it finally arrived 9 weeks later I noticed they had sent me a used and broken phone. Now after returning the phone to Hong Kong (even though they claim they have local repairs) they are refusing to send me a new phone or refund my money. They received it 12 days ago!

And I even returned it within 14 days. This from their website:

"Replacement of faulty items within the first 14 days of delivery, with free repairs for the remainder of the warranty period"

I will file a fraud transaction complaint with my bank asap. Avoid these guys, read all the negative reviews and be smart. Don't be fooled by the cheap prices.

"I found the overall shopping experience to be above average , the packaging of the product was excellent , the only area I think that can be improved is in the processing of the order which I feel could be done quite a bit faster as another company that I deal with consistently processes and sends the order within 24 hours of receiving payment."

"I send you a MORE than 20 days ago a mail for returning my Samsung Galaxy S4 mini back because I did not work (see mail in attachment). Till today only promesses but no action. It is a scandal. This is a last mail before I am going to the French and Belgian authorities to block your sites in those countries. I want a speed reaction for sending me a new Samsung s4mini dual and collecting the one that does not work."

"***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY***

I ordered a Garmin GPS watch at the beginning of January which when placed Value Basket claimed to have a number in stock. However after 3 weeks of checking the delivery status it continued to state that my order was being prepared. It wasn’t until this point that I checked any consumer feedback forums. I contacted customer services and as they couldn’t give me a dispatch date I decided to cancel the order and get a full refund. Value basket advised that they had processed my refund on the 6th February. As of today (25th February) I have still not received a penny. I have been in constant contact with their customer services team throughout this process and although all communication is polite and understanding they have failed to resolve any of my issues or provide an acceptable explanation. I bought the watch from Wiggle for an additional £10 and it was delivered within 3 days. Do not be sucked in by the cost saving this company offers, a complete shambles from start to finish. I continue to wait in anticipation for my refund!

"O problema deste site valuebasket são os prazos de entrega. Por isso, não recomendo a quem tem pressa. De resto, tudo maravilha e preços inacreditáveis, para quem estiver disposto a esperar.

No dia 03.jan.2014, eu encomendei um Samsung S4 Mini Duos por 294 euros, com impostos incluídos e portes grátis! Estava esgotado em Portugal e tinha preços na ordem dos 400 a 450 euros!
Paguei e fiquei à espera... 3 dias, uma semana... comecei a desconfiar. Vim ver as críticas de outros e entrei em pânico: era só pessoal a dizer que nunca mais recebeu nada ou que tinha cancelado a encomenda e o dinheiro nunca mais foi devolvido...
Começou aí a saga dos emails: enviei uns 10 ao longo de uma semana. Era a única forma de contacto. Perguntava por prazos, previsão de entrega... nada. A resposta veio sempre e era rápida, até no próprio dia! Mas apenas com a promessa de que tudo estava a ser tratado com a rapidez possível e a desculpa de haver muitas encomendas a despachar...
Pensei: ou entro em stress e cancelo e nunca mais vejo nada, ou relaxo e espero a confiar no destino...
Assim esperei e... no dia 27.jan.2014, a surpresa: encomenda entregue na DHL e a sair de Hong Kong! Acompanhei o percurso: China, Alemanha, Espanha e Portugal, onde chegou no dia 29.jan.2014.
Pensei: vou-me lixar na alfândega! Ou: e se vem lá um tijolo em vez de um telemóvel?
Nada disso: tudo 5 estrelas!!! Alfândega estava paga (uns 45 euros)! Foi só mandar por mail o PDF da nota de encomenda que estava disponível no site da valuebasket e o desalfandegamento foi em horas.
No dia 31.jan.2014 tinha à minha porta o telemóvel. Com tudo o previsto, uma capa que tinha encomendado também, carregadores com adaptador para a Europa, tudo 5 estrelas.
Portanto o único problema são mesmo os prazos que eles prometem. E não percebo porque não falam a verdade... ganhavam clientes! Os 6-6 dias, serão, na verdade, uns 30. Mas isso é o menos para quem pode esperar. Eu poupei uns 150 euros neste telefone...

"I ordered a Go Pro Hero 3 and memory card on Jan 15th. Unfortunately a few days later I had to change the delivery address so I phoned their Customer Support (Only they will call it that) but I was told this was not possible so I had to cancel the order. Despite numerous e-mails which I only ever receive automated responses to and 5 phone calls I still have not received my money back and it's now 6th Feb. There is no customer support or service. I don't even think anyone reads the numerous e-mails or directly addresses any issue. I've now read nummerous reviews of value basket and it clearly seems if you have any issue at all with your order you are going to have a whole heap of hassle and a struggle to get your money back. This company should not be in business and all we can do is warn others. Don't go anywhere near this company!"

"After 16 days, there is no sign of the phone i have ordered despite being stated as "stock available". When i checked the status, it was "Stock has been allocated and will ship within 1-2 days time." It took them 16 days to process something they have it in their store? Last year i ordered a phone from expansys, it took 3 days for the phone to arrive."

"i ordered a nokia smartphone lumia 920 on 7th january and they immediately debited the 240 euros from my account. and after days of emails to the customer service with no proper response, they told me that they are doing quality check on m product before sending and then after almost 3 weeks they emailed me saying that the order has been out of stock. so far they had been fooling me saying that its under quality check and out of no where they said its out of stock, LIARS!!! . and now it has been more than 2 weeks since i have cancelled my order and no sign of refund yet, they are giving same useless replies in email, i will be going to my bank for VISA fraud.
Moral : NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY/ SITE. Instead spend another 50 bucks.
I forgot to check the review of this site before buying. Always do a review check of the site from which you are buying. and avoid VALUEBASKET at all cost for your own good.

It took me about 20 days to receive my smartphone. During that period the tablet was purchasable on the site (stock available).

"An update on my Nokia Lumia 520: I finally received a reply from the logistics stating that because the screen was cracked they couldn't offer a refund or a replacement. When the phone left the U.K., the screen most definitely was not cracked; another disadvantage of dealing with a company based in Hong Kong that conveys the misleading impression that it's located in the U.K. I sent a reply challenging this claim and I'm still waiting for a response another month later! I have in the meantime received a response to my feedback offering a measly scandisk as compensation. I still wouldn't touch these cowboys with a barge pole."
