Wish there were 0 stars

"Ordered a tap through Walmart. Still waiting over two weeks later. Just got a shipping notice when you track , it states shipping label created. Obviously , this bogus company sells items and then orders them from off shore I have contacted Walmart to have this outfit removed from their vendor list when/if this item finally arrives , it’s going straight back to Walmart. At least I don’t have to deal with VirVenturs non existent customer service "

Buyer Beware

"Ordered six filled jelly jars, sent via FedEx. Three arrived in totally broken condition, totally smashed with glass chards everywhere.
I wrapped the damaged jars in newspaper to reduce the odds of further injury and dumped the mess.
Notified Vir Ventures about the damage via Amazon. Got what looked like a form letter saying that my request is under review.
Suggested Vir Ventures contact Amazon, since I had a good record, to verify that I was a good customer. Got no response.
Why does Amazon maintain a 3.5 out of 5 rating with a 30-45 % disapproval ratings in other reviews, and why do they retain such companies?
Beware of Vir Ventures, of Amazon sales , and of Amazon third-party vendors.
On the other hand, the Amazon complaint dept. is worthy of five stars.

Buyers Remorse?

"I ordered through Walmart a telescope case, that was advertised as being compatible with my telescopes make and model . Upon receiving the case, it was clearly not going to fit my telescope by about 16 inches. And yet, even on the label, it said it was compatible. After much back. And forth with this company, I returned the case, and the return delivery fee, was deducted from my refund.The email I received said it was a matter of Buyers Remorse. Here's where MY remorse comes in, I believed your ADVERTISING TO BE TRUE, and your company to be fair. My bad."

simply the worst

"On April 24,2021 I ordered through Walmart.ca two kinds of fertilizers ( Espoma organic staff
rated the the best, not available in Canada), one for bulbs and one for roses. Walmart billed
my MasterCard, sent me an invoice, which got me alerted right away, because the order was
split into two separate shipments with only one tracking number for both items. The shipments for both items was April, 14.On April,13 I picked up only one parcel ,when my dog
Barked at the door, wondering about the other,checked the tracking number, showing : delivered (one or both?).To make the story short,To trace the second parcel , about $US 60.00
for 18 pound bag, I contacted Walmart customer service 4 times, they referred me to Virventures, who in response provided me with three different tracking numbers, showing in
each of them delivery is completed. The call to their head office in Huston was also useless. When I asked Walmart for refund, they said it the third party, VirVenture,has to refund me. in this agony I still hope to recover the money.

Discusting Company

"The worst experience that I have ever had with a company. They are liars and thieves.Tried to return unused toilets because didn't line up with my plumbing. Had to pay for return shipping, and when I saw the money they deducted for restocking fee and said one toilet was damaged so they destroyed it and threw it out. I asked for pictures and was told there were none, and to take it up with the carrier.
Thank goodness for Amazon and they gave me ALL MY MONEY BACK. They told me not to ever deal with third companies only with Amazon. Will do!!!

"Purchased a Bedspread from Virventures via Amazon. Ordered Item color Teal and received Plum color
They refused to pay for the return and it cost me $52.37 to ship it back after waiting two weeks for a reply to allow me to ship it back.

Vir Ventures is a SCAMMER

"For starters, Fruugo doesn't tell you the seller's name until you've placed your order.
On Monday, February 15, I bought an item worth € 69.00 and the next day, Fruugo sent me an email telling me that Vir Ventures from the United States had sent me the product (something totally false), since 2 days later, this seller sent me an e-mail telling me that due to a technical failure they ended up listing a product that they do not sell, after having charged € 69.00 for a product that they will not send me, and the worst of all is , which does not tell me when to return my full order refund.
I submitted the claim to get my money back, and Fruugo just tells me with an automatic message from his algorithm to contact the retailer, who ignores me. It seems that Fruugo does not mind working with a scammer, who, if they search his name on Google, will be able to verify to all customers that this professional scammer has scammed on different platforms.
If Fruugo doesn't help me, I will go to the OCU, speak to my attorneys, and do whatever it takes to get my refund back.

If you appreciate your money, don't make the mistake of shopping at Fruugo.

Scam artists

"This is literally the worst company I’ve ever had the experience to deal with. They are running a scam! I purchased a TV console for nearly $600 and alerted them immediately when they sent a shipping notice and I saw that they had my address wrong. Cut to four weeks later and the console was delivered to the wrong address. When you call their customer service number you only get a voicemail and no one will call you back. When you email them someone named Marqueze or Steve will send you back a generic email not addressing the issue. After many complaints, I finally got the response saying they wouldn’t issue a refund because “they are a small company and it would be a big hit to us.” They need 24-48 hours to look into it further. It’s now been exactly a month! I have filed a complaint with the BBB and alerted my CC company to their fraud. I am also considering consulting a lawyer. Do not get scammed by Virventures!"

Truly horrible to deal with

"This company has been truly horrible to deal with as an Amazon seller. I ordered two chairs on Amazon from Virventures and they shipped the wrong item and required me to pay to have it shipped back so I could get a refund on the original purchase price. Then they wouldn't refund the shipping costs despite the fact that their policy states they refund shipping if they ship the wrong item. After pursuing the company for months via Amazon's A-to-Z guarantee, I finally filed a Better Business Bureau complaint against Virventures and then one against Amazon. Amazon noted that Virventures was not following their own policies and immediately refunded my money."

Terrible Company In Every Way

"Product was great, it simply did not fit my vehicle. Seller (VirVentures) is the by far the worst company I had a pleasure of dealing with. Returns are accepted but it is a nightmare trying to get anything back to them. When they finally accept a refund, you are expected to cover the shipping. That's understandable although that practice is being fazed out by many other companies. Two weeks after the package reaches their provided return address and I hear nothing from them. Did not receive a single dollar back. Upon contacting the seller, then Amazon, then the seller again in the span of four days, I received an e-mail telling me they would issue a refund in 3-5 days after they deduct a 20% restock fee. Wait, what? "
