"This did not start off being a positive review. Quite the opposite. I had never used Vivid Seats previously and became very concerned when I still hadn't received my tickets the day before the show. The concert was a gift to my wife and we had incurred a lot of travel costs to get to Nashville specifically for this concert. I had contacted Vivid Seats repeatedly in the days leading up to the show and was repeatedly assured my tickets would come via email. That was little comfort coming from a vendor I'd never used before, so I pressed them very hard to get in touch with the seller to find out why I didn't have my tickets yet. While I was not pleased with their customer service, I eventually did get my tickets about 24 hours before the show. Then, on the day of the show I was contacted by a representative in their escalation department who read my original negative review posted on this forum. She was deeply apologetic and understood why I had been extremely displeased with the level of empathy I'd received from their customer service team in the days leading up to the concert. She then offered to completely refund the entire service fee, essentially the profit Vivid Seats made on my ticket purchase, as a way of apologizing and trying to right a wrong.
I was deeply appreciative. I hadn't asked for, nor expected, any type of refund. I just wanted the tickets I had purchased for my wife, which had finally come the prior evening. I will admit I wasn't ever planning on using Vivid Seats again until this representative reached out to me personally. All companies make mistakes. But not every company does the right thing when mistakes happen. Vivid Seats stepped up and did the right thing. I was so impressed that I declined the refund. Instead, I chose to use it as a credit the next time I used Vivid Seats for an upcoming concert adventure. Everyone deserves a second chance, especially if they go so far out of their way to make things right."

"I called the 800 number with a question, as I was online ready to purchase tickets. The associate on the phone offered to process the order for me....I agreed. Bottom line is that my order total was for $60 more than the cost of the tickets. They charged an additional $20 dollars per ticket to process the order. After I saw this amount in my email I called right back within minutes and they said there is nothing I can do about it. They said they are not obligated to tell me that there is an additional charge that they quote the total amount to me on the phone. Well this is a phone conversation and maybe they are trained to throw in an amount fast and quietly so the caller won't hear it because I certainly would've picked up on that had I heard it! I guess I expect that a company would have some level of integrity and honor....But VIVID SEATS trains their employees to be DISHONORABLE and pull off SCAMS. "
