"Failed to deliver on time, breach of contract. WA+ is operating a ponzi scheme where they take monies to finance stock purchases. As orders fall because of bad reviews they don't have the money to buy stock so deliveries get later and later. They tried to tell us that the order was in transit but could not give us a tracking number something UPS always give. They never send an email saying the goods have been dispatched. It was all lies and they have agreed to a refund which could take weeks if we get one back at all. Unfortunately for us the value of the order was £69.99 and not enough for card insurance to kick in.

Do NOT buy from this retailer.

"No surprise, my order hasn't arrived even though I paid expedited delivery.

I actually run an online store myself, so what I perceive as WAE's flimsy lies and excuses are very transparent to me.

Have been told that my order has been shipped, but they are still unable to provide a tracking number. Which gives the impression that I am once again being told a pack of lies.

I have spoken to Customer Service staff many times, and have suggested that they google 'WAE plus complaints' to see what kind of company they work for. I hope the customer service staff move on to work for a decent, reputable company, as they don't deserve the grief they get from customers.

I will cancel if as expected my item doesn't arrive tomorrow.

If I cancel, I will take legal action if WAE does not refund me within 30 days, as they will be in breach of online selling regulations. May be worth a collabarative and joint effort with other cheated customers to present an even stronger case.

"Avoid! Dishonest company. The worst shopping experience I've ever had. Ordered 4 items advertised as in stock on 31/07 and still haven't got them all (it's 11/09 now!!!). Of course they took the payment straight away and now refuse any refunds. One of the items was a Logitech keyboard you can easily find on the web - for WAE+, 6 weeks does not seem to be enough! I've probably called them over 10 times already and every time they kept promising it'd be all delivered within the next 2-4 days - which of course was not the case. They kept giving silly excuses (e.g. someone got sick, they got confused, UPS was not delivering their parcels, then that my order was dispatched, but they couldn't provide a tracking number, etc.). There is no way to escalate any issues as there is no way to speak to their managers/supervisors. And... I can't even cancel my order because I'm being told the items have been 'allocated' and I need to wait for delivery first. Looks like SCAM."

"I just don't understand how a company like this can manage to operate with the amount complaints they must get! They are pretty much border line illegal.

Ordered over £300 worth of goods with express postage which was a big mistake! Took 2 weeks for 3 out of the 5 items to arrive after countless excuses which were always "out of stock" and "warehouse is processing". Now I don't run a online store but I'm pretty sure it's not too hard to update stock!

After a further two weeks I requested a refund which is when I was told that they didn't even sell the two items left I ordered! So why not tell me at the beginning and take the items of the site? I doubt they have now!

Refund took 30 days to be sent and 5 days to process which is just before the dead line making it just legal!

I will never use this company again and I advise no one else does as-well! I ordered without looking at reviews in detail and thinking that only bad reviews get posted but bad reviews are posted too often for this site!

Save yourself time and effort and pay a bit extra for a actual quality service! DO NOT ORDER

"After a month of waiting for my refund, alright it is required by the law so be it, I have decided to sue them. So let's see how it will end up. Gave up all my chances after contacting their customer services numerous time. It is only £198ish, but what the hell I earned that money and they just took it without even dispatching the product."

""I Ordered a internal LG CH10LS28 BLU RAY on 9th August for my PC

I cancelled on the 10th August because, I could see that my order wasn't dispatched, so I called WAE+ to find out when my item would be dispatched. WAE+ told me that my item was in Belgium, also saying my items could take 3 weeks before I get them. I said to WAE+ that had I known this prior to ordering I wouldn't have ordered in the first place, so I asked WAE+ to cancel this order.

1st week called as I hadn't got my refund (please bear in mind a refund only takes 30 sec to instigate, as I have my own online sales and it uses the same system) WAE+ said it would be done ASAP

2nd week same reply, asked to talk to manager or accounts department. There not allowed to do this but they will put a message on this refund that I had called twice. I feel the message said something like (make this one wait 30 days)

3rd week still no refund!

FOURTH week, I got a copy and paste email from Gary P******l WAE+'s the Complaints Controller for WAE+ (That NO customer can talk to or email). The email was deliberately sent with no return email address (noreply). Please bear in mind, that WAE+ can instigate a refund within 30 sec but WAE+ CHOOSE to keep your money for 31 days. This seems to be there normal WAE+ refund practice.

To the Anonymous person at WAE+ to your FIRST response

I selected a LG CH10LS28 Blu-ray/DVD Recorder and also a JetFlash 620 2.0 USB Flash Drive - 32 GB just so the total when over the £50, so I could take advantage of your (B/S) wonderful offer of *FREE UPS* delivery on orders over £50

What Your site doesn't say is because you have spent over £50, your items will be dispatched when we feel like it (3 weeks), also your products might not even be in this country when you order! (Belgium)

Also it doesn't say anything about these items being "European models" or the FACT that the product is not even in this country

Also you say I selected "10-12 working day delivery period" NO I selected what ever was the Free delivery. With most normal retailers this would mean that they would be dispatched within 1-3 days.

But WAE+ seems to make its own rules up on what and what "FREE delivery means" (Take as long as you like its free), also in my case I was told it would be 3 weeks to get to me from Belguim! I am guessing that this ok as WAE+ said in there reply that "everything was ready for delivery on-time with your order" But only in WAE+ world of bad service.


PLUS MY OVERALL COMPLAINT WAS ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS SERVICE AND REFUNDS TAKING 30 DAYS

I love your total LIE "Refunds are often done quicker" as this blog below clearly shows 100-200 people that will totally disagree with you.

But I see that you don't DENY the fact that refunds are deliberately held for 30 days, as part of WAE+ refund policy.

What your saying is that WAE+ dose not have anything that is listed as a European model on your website in stock, in the UK? It will be shipped from overseas? Maybe its time to make this clear on your website!!

A simple small item like TRANSCEND-JetFlash USB flash Pen your saying you don't have these in stock? Not only that but it takes 3 weeks to deliver?? Also you will hold the entire order if one item that is overseas!

PLUS your website makes any purchase very unclear, whether you will get your order within 3-5 days (which would be normal)or 10-12 working days or within 3 weeks as was stated over the phone in my case.

MOST company's say 7-10 days, just to cover themselves if there courier is delayed. But most will deliver within 3-5 days. YOU ACTUALLY QUOTE 10-12 working days but you ACTUALLY mean 10-15 working days or 3 weeks to normal people, and there is no way you will receive it sooner.

This is all TOTALLY IRRELEVANT as my complaint was about your CUSTOMER SERVICE, REFUND POLICY also I am complaining about WAE+ making it impossible for your customers to contact anyone in authority from WAE+ e.g. a Manager, Owner, Director or even Gary P******l WAE+'s Complaints Controller (That no one can talk to or email)

I wasn't asking you if you think it is confusing or if you think your right about delivery on WAE+, I WAS TELLING YOU ITS NOT CLEAR. I defy anyone that isn't employed by WAE+ to interpret (European model)as not in the UK and could take 2-3 weeks to arrive (as your in Birmingham)

"I'm too one of those customers who did not look up reviews of the company before buying from them. After failing to deliver my monitor within 12 working days they replied to my enquiry that it will 2-3 working days delayed, which I agreed. They came back to me the next week admitting they don't have the item in stock any more. At this point I asked for my money back. After a couple of days I contacted them again saying I haven't received the refund, adding that I placed the order nearly a month ago, haven't received anything in return, and I think it is fair to ask to complete the refund as soon as possible. Their reply was that they have 30 days to do the refund. They are basically holding customer's money back as long as they can."

"One of my worst experiences ever. Ordered goods 13/8, told would be delivered between 27/8 and 29/8 - I thought it a bit strange that there was a 2 week delay but as cheaper than other retailers swallowed it. However goods did not turn up. i called on Monday 3/9 to be told by Kay goods would be xdelivered without fail wednesday, she would track order herself and e mail me to confirm. I heard nothing on the Tuesday so called to be assured goods would be delivered on Wednesday as advised
Again not delivered. Called Thursday 6/9 to be told there was a problem in the warehouse and I would be e mailed to be told when could be delivered - what happened to yesterdays delivery? Clearly never going to happen. I cancelled order to be told I would have to wait up to 30 days for rebate and I would receive e mail to this effect within minutes
Here we are 5 hours later, no e mail - I really do wonder wha the chances of my refund being received are as they have done nothing but lie to me through out
They are nothing but liars and I would stay well clear of this company

"Like many others here i didn't check the company out before I placed my order, I went for the cheaper price option. Anyway I ordered and paid for my item on the 30th July, the next day (31st) I decided that 12 days was too long to wait for delivery so I sent an email cancelling my order.

2 days later (2nd August) I received an email back saying that the refund would be processed and back into my account as quickly as possible. At the time I thought that was a pretty good response. Little did I know!

On the 6th Aug I sent another email asking when I would be refunded, I received an email on the 7th stating that my refund is currently in process however under the distance selling regulations it will be refunded within 30 days. This is when alarm bells started ringing.

To cut the story short I received another email on the 2nd Sept to say that they were paying the money back into my account but it would take 3 to 5 days for it to clear. So in total it will have taken them 35 to 37 days to refund my money.

It is the 5th Sept and the refund is still not showing in my account.

Totally dishonest and disreputable low life.

"Please avoid this company. The company does not communicate with you nor accept and abide by the trading regulations set in law. I purchased an item and later cancelled it. The distance seller regulation states that you should receive a refund 'as soon as possible' and in any event within 30 days.(not business days). After numerous emails and phone calls I received a email 28 days after canceling my product saying they will refund my account in the next 3-5 business days. This means they failed to acknowledge the distance seller regulation on two accounts. One - as soon as possible and two - within 30 days. I am very disappointed with the company and it's ethics. I would stay right away from it under all circumstances. You have been warned."

"Ordered a camera from WAEPlus on the the 14th August with the free 10-12 day delivery.

Never received it during the above time frame, contacted them via email 03 September regarding the order being late. The reply was that they are expecting them in 3 days!

I phoned them today to cancel the order, as I have brought the camera from elsewhere, was told that the refund will take up to 30 days! Disgusting..

"Absolutely awful. Beware this company.

Ordered a computer monitor on the 7th of August paid by credit card which was debted immediately. I was promised the monitor would arrive on 3 separate occasions and it never arrived.
I called to chase up the monitor & they denied all knowledge of the emails they had sent me which had the promised delivery dates on (I have copies).
They then said the monitor had not shipped as the price had increased by £5 and would I have to pay the difference to get the monitor! The absolute cheek of it! I told them politely I wanted to cancel the order and get a full refund - they said this can take up to 30 DAYS!
This company is a joke, extremely poor non-existent customer service & I will never be ordering anything through them again.

"Very upset with the service of this company. I ordered the Western Digital Scorpio Black 500 GB 2.5" Internal Hard Drive on a usual delivery service giving my package 10 - 12 day to arrive. After a day past the deadline we called to see where it was to find that they had forgotten and would place it in the post as soon as possible. A week later I called again to ask where it was to find out that it wasn't in stock and that they forgot to give me the notice. I was then told that they would find a replacement to send me within the next two day and an email would be sent for confirmation on this arrangement. Two days later and I'm told that they won't do what they had previously said and that nothing can be done. They wouldn't even offer me a replacement of a Hard Drive that they have in stock, no compensation, nothing. So now I fly out to China without a laptop. Never been more disappointed with any service more than this one. Totally contradicts what they state their standards to be online."

"Ordered item and paid extra for "speedy" delivery. Item didn't turn up in the timescale so requested a refund on the extra delivery charge.

Request was acknowledged over a month ago, still no refund. Chases just get "we're doing what we can" responses.

Now referring to Trading Standards. Can only echo the advice here, do not use.
