"Disgusting how this company can take your money make you wait for two weeks for delivery then you have to ring them to find out we're your item is to then be told its out of stock. Then they try to sell you something you don't want rather that give you a refund, told i have to wait 30 days for a refund still waiting,,!"

"Like many who have written before me I have not received my item and it transpires that they never had the stock item in the first place despite telling me only a week ago that the reason for the delay was due to courier problems. I cancelled the order today but the customer services team are being deliberately evasive about refund timescales and are clearly giving me the run about!

The earlier reply from WAE+ stating that they have changed their refund protocols is rubbish! I ordered my goods on the 9th of July yet they're still spinning me a yarn!

I have reported this company to the Internet Fraud helpline who have reported the matter to the Police and to the National Fraud Intelligence Beareau. They were very interested to hear from me and suspect this operation to be criminal.

I will not stop on this issue and advise victims of this band of criminals to not get angry but to take action.

"I am shocked at how bad the service of this company is. I ordered 6 pound 3 day delivery with yourselves to only find 6 days later that my 'in stock' product still hasn't been dispatched. Upon spending 15 minutes on hold to the customer services department, i was then put on hold again to be told "We don't know why your order hasn't been shipped, it will be shipped next week and will arrive in two weeks".
What is the point in having a business if you cant run it. I then called again after i decided to cancel my order and purchase it from another website. I have now been told that my 300 pound refund may take up to 30 days. This is awful considering the product was in stock and you were more than happy to take the money from my bank account almost immediately after i entered my details. I would appreciate it greatly if you could speed up the refund on this 'invalid' product that never turned up.

"I am very angry over this company. I placed an order for deskto computer on 12 June and delivery scheduled for 29 June. I only received an email on 27 June stating that they were unable to deliver as they did not have the item in stock. I responded by email and tephone to find out why it took them 2 weeks to realise they didn't have the item, but no satisfactory response was given. I was asked if I wanted to choose another item or get a full refund, to which I opted for a refund. I sent an email asking for refund on 28 June. By 12 July, I had not received the refund and so i phoned them. The lady only said that the refund was being processed and would be made in 30 days. I questioned why it should take 30 days when (1) it took them less tha 3 days from order date to get the money from my credit card and (2) I had not cancelled the order, but they had failed to honour their side of the deal. Again no satisfactory answer was given. Since the telephone call, I have sent an email asking when I would get the refund, which has not been responded to. Today is 27 July and i still haven't got the refund (£369).

This makes one wonder what type of business this this company runs. No wonder why people are thinking the business could be in holding refunds for as long as they can and earn interest. It doesen't seem to matter wheather one has cancelled the order or they have failed to meet their obligation.

I will certainly contact the trading standards and citizen advise bureau next week for advice on how to get my money sooner than they are planning to keep it for.

On the cost question, I would say they are cheaper if they delivered on their promise. All this trouble is because I was trying to save £30 on a product I could have picked from P C World.

Very disappointed customer. I am glad I opted for a refund not to choose another item, which I now believe could have further prolonged the whole process.

"Ordered a Garmin Etrex30 GPSr from this site, excellent price :-)
Paid for quicker delivery, undecided if paying extra for delivery was worth it?
Ordered on 13/7 and dispatched on 19/7 :-( I know I ordered on a Friday but nearly a week to dispatch? could have been quicker! That said the item arrived the next day :-) very well packaged.
Communications could have been a lot better, after order confirmation I never heard anything, not even a dispatch notice, was starting to get worried after a few days :-(
Overall, Item was very well priced and arrived well packaged but coms could have been a lot better.
Will I shop with them again?....... Unsure

"I ordered a Sigma lens from WAE+ in March 2012. A quick summary:

1. Delivery took 16 days hardly speedy.
2. Lens was faulty and after explaining the law to their customer services they finally agreed to take the lens back.
3. Sent the lens Specoial Delivery at a cost of £8.
4. WAE return the same lens within 2 days to me.
5. Customer services say I did not return it within 14 days as per the T&C (their T&C do not say this). Upon realising this the customer services say send the lens back and they "will look into it"
6. I resend the lens back to WAE+ via SD (another £8)
7. I hear nothing for 4 weeks.
8. I write to WAE stating they are in breach of contract and ask for immediate refund otherwise Barclaycard will be informed and they will reclaim on my behalf.
9. Next step will be Barclaycard and the Birmingham Trading Standards Dept.

In 18 years of making Internet purchases this is the worst outfit I have ever had to deal with - AVOID.

"AVOID THIS SCAM OUTFIT!!!! Please take all NEGATIVE complaints seriously as it could happen to you.
On 28 June I ordered a Seagate external hard drive for £123.54, but delivery would be between 13 and 17 July.

On 12 July I contacted WAE+ and asked for an exact date for delivery. The lady simply re-iterated that it would be with me by July 17.

On 16 July the "My Account" section on the WAE+ website confirmed that my delivery was "on time". However by 17 July no delivery!

I phoned the WAE+ office and was told that the goods were unavailable!!! The website is still showing this product as available from WAE+. The "My Account" states the order is "on time" and the staff previously maintained that all was Ok and my order was fine!

They LIE. They are in possession of all the facts but just dish out lies to the customer. They never contact you to inform you that there may be problems and they deliberately put out wrong information.

Because they are now in breach of contract (my money was taken from my credit card the day after I ordered), they must offer an immediate refund. The crap they tell you that they have up to 30 days to process the refund is UNTRUE. That only applies if you cancel the contract. I have not cancelled the contract and so it is they who are in breach.

I have contacted my home Trading Standards, Birmingham trading standards and Citizens Advice. I have also contacted my credit card company forewarning them that I may have to make a claim for a refund under section 75 of the 1974 Consumer Credit Act (it may not come to that).

I have asked WAE+ for compensation which of course they have ignored. I gave them a deadline to either supply my goods or provide a refund with compensation - they ignored both requests.

Cizizens Advice now have case number as does Birmingham Trading Standards on this Company. Apparently they are well known to the latter.

WAE+ has only been trading for a year or so and yet they have a massive number of outraged customers. I believe they sit on people's funds for as long as possible and make a profit that way - nice little earner but illegal.

It is a criminal offence to advertise goods that are not available (I have an e-mail from WAE+ stating that the goods are unavailable, yet they continue to advertise it).

Birmingham Trading Standards are actually being very co-operative with my case and I would urge anyone who has had a bad experience with WAE+ to pursue the matter with the authorities.

Unfair trading on this scale needs to be brought to book. Incidentally and finally, WAE+ claims that they are mainly stationers...on my credit card transaction they have mis-spelled stationAry!!! They can't even spell their main business!

AVOID this outfit is my advice.

"I had a really easy experience with wae+, everything went well. After ordering I noticed the reviews on here and was initially very worried, made a call first thing Monday morning and a very polite girl answered within a minute I think and answered any query I had. Order turned up on the wednesday several days early - would definitely recommend."

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - LIKE OTHERS HAVE STATED THEY ARE UNRELIABLE AND I DON'T KNOW HOW THE COMPANY STILL EXISTS!!!
We ordered speakers in March that didnt come within 12days like it stated...then after 2 or 3 times of trying them they were faulty. I was told we were outside of the return policy which was 7days from purchase even though I didnt have the product then. Didnt even get a confirmation email, invoice or anything! I involved trading standards in a letter to them stating the sales of goods act due to faulty product on arrival. They picked them up and I could choose refund, repair or replace. Due to the issues already that I stated I wanted a refund which should take 30days so I should have got the refund by 8th July...today 19th July still no refund after 6 follow up calls to ask where it is and they won't even let me speak to a manager or supervisor. Took 30mins one day to even get them to answer the phone. I've been advised a cheque is in the post today if I don't receive it within 1 week I am going to lose the will to live with this company as this has been going on since March!!!

"I placed an order with WAE+ on 29th June 2012 for just under £300 for a few PC components, with delivery expected just over a week later. It was during this time that I noticed all the negative reviews (why I didn't see them before is beyond me)and started to get really anxious. Especially when I checked my account and saw the funds had already been pulled from my bank account. However...
Despite stressing and thinking I'd lost my money, or at the very least would have a fight on my hands to get it back, they did fulfil most of my order, but it was delivered later than they originally stated.
One item mysteriously ended up out of stock,(it was such a good price I'd be amazed if anyone got one!) but the other two arrived a few days late.
The problem seems to be a severe lack of good communication with their customers - if the order page was updated more frequently and any delays clearly stated, instead of leaving people to wonder what has happened, it would solve a few problems. Being honest about delays rather than pulling a delivery date out of thin air (that comes and goes without sign of a delivery) would also help!
The wording of the T&Cs also needs to be cleaned up and phrased slightly differently.
Finally, if an item is not going to be shippable then it shouldn't be listed as available. I'm still trying to figure out why my order came from Dublin?
I would be cautious about ordering from them again, and would take the delivery timescale with a pinch of salt - at least they are contactable on Facebook.

"Disgusted. I won't go into all the details, as they have been repeated over and over on this site. Suffice to say that I ordered an item on 19th March, 2012 which didn't come in time, so I cancelled the order with the assurance of a refund. It is now 16th July, 2012 and despite numerous phone calls and letters, I am still waiting for a refund. I have in the meantime contacted Trading Standards in Birmingham. WAE+ - the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of coming across. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THEM. "

"I ordered a graphics card from these on the 25 june with free delivery which was given between 5-10 july.
Fool me i done some reserch after i orderd and found this site i read the reviews and got concerned, i emailed them on the 4 july to make sure all was ok, i got a reply saying:

Thankyou for your enquiry.

Your order has been updated and this is due for dispatch , - Due between 5th Jul 2012 and 10th Jul 2012 (Currently on time)

Great!

So now on the 9th and no sign of it, i emailed again asking if today or tomorrow and i got a reply on the 10th at midday saying:

We are sincerely sorry for the delay caused with your order and can only apologise for the poor service received.

Unfortunately we have been updated this item is temporarily unavailable due to issues with the manufacturers. This product was not part of our core range and some times we rely on external sources for information on product lead times and stock availability , this was not fulfilled.

We are sincerely sorry for this , was there an alternative model we can source instead or would you prefer a refund ?

Great! again

Ive replied asking for a refund. still feeling uneasy i phoned them and to there credit i got through after 5 minutes, told them i wanted a refund which i was then told will take upto 30 days, not happy with this she said do you want to speak to our accouts department, yes please, THEN CUT OFF!

Still no refund, reading other review not to sure if i will get it back. wae must make there money from interest of our money rather then selling goods that why they dont like giving it back, it only takes a second to refund money but they dont and they have accounts department.

DO NOT USE I'LL NEVER USE AGAIN.

A saving grace would be a quick refund, i will post back when or if i ever get it..

Edit due to WAE+ reply.

Shortly after i posted this reveiw i got an email saying that refund had been done, today the 17 july the refund has indeed been done.

Great!

"Oh dear, I am SOOOO angry. This evening I tried to buy a video projector from this company. THREE time my card errored and returned a page that suggested I change my details and try again, it also advised that no money had been taken from my bank account. I then gave up and opted to pay by bank transfer. Following the directions on the email I received from WAE+ I logged into my bank on-line and was about to transfer £369.33 when I noticed that my available funds were reduced by OVER £1000. Of course, I then telephoned my bank who told me that the THREE payments that the WAE+ website had said were declined had IN ACTUAL FACT GONE THROUGH. As you may well guess, I am extremely NOT happy. I will expect the item to be dispatched first thing Monday morning (this is Friday) and I will expect an IMMEDIATE repayment of £738.66. I will post here the results and also devote a WHOLE page to this company on my website if this is not rectified forthwith.

I guess the moral of this sorry tale is: Even if your card errors, check your bank balance straight away because a payment may have been made after all.

Debbie

Edited in responce to WAEs reply

Did you not read my post? I telephoned my bank and they told me that the payments ALL THREE OF THEM have been processed and the money is now in your account and my bank cannot retrieve it. After each of the THREE times I tried to order on-line YOUR WEBSITE told me that NO MONEY HAS BEEN TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT. Of course I will be calling you on Monday.

The main issue here is that your website suggested I order again even though three payments had already been made. Don't blame the banking system. On one other occasion I have had an on-line order declined because my bank is in the UK and I live in France. But on that occasion no money was taken from my account.

"Free option is the longest time of delivery I've ever seen. It is designed to push customers to pay for the shipment and to abandon free shipping. With this policy, WAE+ can not see success, even if you are the cheapest! A total mistake.
Their security system does not work correctly.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/36790862/wae%2B.jpg

I got an email about the shipment the day before the 3-day (!) delivery window. The details of delivery was the message: "UPS". Just that! I expected that Royal Mail will be used as usual in the case of free shipping, but it came out differently. The next day I was at home all day, waiting for the UPS driver. No one appeared. A day later, I waited until noon and called WAE + asking for tracking number. They have this number!!!The only question is why did not I got it??? Link with the tracking number led to the b-post international(?) (http://www.bpost2.be). My package is in Belgium!!!??? If I got this information in the mail about the shipping, next day I did not sit all day at home, and even a day later.
I called across the border to "b-post international" with the question which stands for "Parcel is routed"? I got information that the package is in transport and I can check the Yodel website using "local barcode" found on the b-post tracking page.
Why I did not get this information from WAE+? Instead I get information about the used UPS Courier if that is not used at all?
Today b-post website shows the latest status of "Attempt failed delivery - Item put physically in warehouse". Place: GB. A little scary ... But at least is in UK!. Yodel website nothing showed yesterday, but today it is accurate information that the package last night went to the warehouse near me.
Today is the last day delivery window, and it seems that I get this package after 14 days from order! Information on the WAE+ website says about 10-12 days!?
Why I did not get all the valuable information concerning the shipment of my purchase!? Instead I had to carry out a private investigation!

"I placed an order on Fri 29 June for a camera and chose their free delivery option as I wasn't in a rush. The order status was 'awaiting fulfilment' but had a green tick re the expected delivery dates. So far so good.

Over that weekend I happened to start reading frankly appalling reviews about WEA+ and started getting a sinking feeling. As the money had already been taken from my credit card a/c, and, like I said, I wasn't in a rush for the item I decided to leave the order as was.

On Tues 3rd July I clicked on the order item link only to be informed by WEA+ that this item was no longer available from their site. I checked my order status online and it still said 'awaiting fulfilment' with a green tick for the delivery dates. How could this be ?

I send a query asking if they would still be able to fulfil my order.
The next day, Wed 4th July, I received a response 'sincerely' apologising for the poor service and advising me that the 'item is no longer available due to issues with the manufacturers. This product was not part of our core range and some times we rely on external sources for information on product lead times and stock availability , this was not fulfilled.' I was then asked if I wanted an alternative or a refund.
I responded, asking how WEA+ could rely on external sources for their stock availability information and that, aside from price, the only reason I placed the order was due to them claiming they had the camera in stock ! Sirely either a company has an item in stock or it doesn't ? I accept that stock mistakes may sometimes happen but to blame it on 'external sources' ?? I declined the offer of an alternative item and requested a refund asap to my credit card a/c.

Thur 5th July, I received a response advising that my request for a refund had 'been processed' and would be refunded 'in due cause' (sic). I was reminded that their T&Cs state 'payments will be 30 days from the date of the invoice has been cancelled'. They also stated that they aimed to 'resolve this quickly and efficiently as possible.'

I responded the next day, Fri 6th July:

"... in relation to your Terms & Conditions that you directed me towards:

'1.3 Format of the Contract
To clarify, your order is NOT ACCEPTED until you receive confirmation that your order status has changed to either "Awaiting Shipment", or "Items Allocated". It is at this point that a binding legal contract is created and any contract is subject to these Terms and Conditions.'

My order status never changed from 'Awaiting Fulfillment' therefore the legal contract was not created to be subject to the Terms and Conditions. This was because you did not have the goods in stock that you claimed you did and therefore, in my opinion, took my money under false pretences.

Even if the contract was created and subject to these T&Cs I have further issue with the following:

'2.1 Description and price of the goods
The goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available in stock, the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible.'

I was told only after contacting yourselves on Tuesday 3rd Jul 17:37, almost 3 working days after placing the order, that you did not have the goods in stock. I wonder how long it would have taken you to tell me if I hadn't queried your ability to provide the goods you have charged me for - longer than 'asap' I strongly suspect.

'7.4 Your right of cancellation
Once you have notified the Supplier that you are cancelling the contract, the Supplier will refund or re-credit you WITHIN 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.'

WITHIN 30 days, not as you state "... WILL BE 30 days from the date of the invoice has been cancelled..."

Given my above points, can you please take steps to refund my money as sooon as possible, and I really do mean as soon as possible.

For your information, I've made copies of this correspondence with the intention of contacing my local Trading Standards Dept and my Bank to voice my concerns over your business practice."

It's now Thur 12 July, almost a week later and WEA+ have yet to respond to my last communication. Needless to say, I have yet to receive my refund for an order placed in good faith which was NEVER ACCEPTED BY WEA+ and therefore NO "BINDING LEGAL CONTRACT" TO BE SUBJECT TO THEIR T&Cs - THEIR WORDING NOT MINE.

It's so sad that there are 'companies' (and I use that term loosely) still legally allowed to trade with such shoddy business practices !!!! :/

BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!
