"Ordered a digital camera with free 128M compact flash card. Received e-mail that it was out of stock and backorderd. Had to wait more than three weeks for the digital camera.

They sent me a big radio controlled car instead of compact flash card :) Called them to return the car and reorder the flash card, but they said they can't ship the flash card until they receive the radio control car :<

I sent the radio car back on Jan 15 by USPS. After three weeks, they still refuse to ship a compact flash card sine "they haven't received it yet".

I am returning the digital camera. I wonder how long it will take to get the credit back.

"Price for the item I purchased was $50 less than at other sellers. My order was processed in 2-3 business days as stated on the website. After which, my order was promptly shipped on January 12 and arrived January 15 (ground shipping). Package was not damaged, and my new notebook booted up fine and appears to be in perfect condition. I recieved e-mails upon order placement and shipment. Would gladly do business with this company again."

"Tried to purchase a Razor Scream Machine from them on 12/9/02. I placed my order successfully and received my confirmation.

After a week of hearing nothing, I checked back in with them. My order was still being 'processed' with an expected deliever between 12/19 and 12/24. I was told that an e-mail was sent to me saying that the item was backordered. I never received the e-mail, but that was okay because the item was no longer backordered.

On 12/19, the order was still being 'processed', so I sent another e-mail asking where my order was, and when could I expect the item to ship.

On 12/20 I received an automatic e-mail from them stating that they could no longer guarantee arrival of the item by 12/24. 11 days to tell me that the item is out of stock.

So you would think that they would pull the item from the website, right? As of today, the item is still listed as being available and can still be received by Christmas. What a crock!

I won't be buying anything else from Walmart.com or Walmart ever again.

Update: While checking on getting some numbers for this review, I went back to the Walmart website to discover that by miracle of miracles, my order had shipped. This after I had told them to cancel the order this morning. They upgraded the shipping to Airborne Express, so we'll see if it gets here in time.

Update #2

After going all weekend with the tracking number showing up as invalid, the package was at my door last night. They ended up delivering as promised. However, I couldn't take that chance. I happened to find one at a local department store on Sunday. So now I guess I'll get to check out Walmart's return policy. I guess the lack of communication was my greatest complaint. If they had just kept me informed, a lot of the problems that occurred could have been avoided.

"Ordered a leather recliner for $199. It took them a while to ship it (the shipping was quite high, 50 bucks), but it arrived the day after it was shipped (took 2 weeks from placing the order to delivery)! I am very satisfied."

"Ordered an amzing deal of 800Mhz PC for $199. Now 24 days have passed. I haven't received it or any email concerning the delay. There's no tracking feature for this order. The phone support (1-***-***-****) option #1 (tracking) just keep disconnecting my calls (4 times). I didn't get reply from the email support.

I shop at local Wal-Mart everyday. But this is really terrible experience. I guess they aren't good in cyber space.

"Was nice doing business with them. They sell much more online then in their stores. Even in their superstore they don't sell everything what they sell online. I really like their barebone systems they sell now. And this was a great deal."
