Then, after waiting for over a week with no update, I tried cancelling. As soon as I placed the request to cancel I get an email literally 5 minutes later that says the product is currently in the process of being shipped and cannot be cancelled. So ridiculous"
"Purchased 6 outdoor lounge chairs from Wayfair. They rusted out and one just broke in half. Tried to reach out to Wayfair and they directed me to manufacturer. Neither will stand behind the product and Wayfair offered 10% off future purchase, which is laughable. I won't waste 90% of any amount of money with the company any longer. "

"During their big sale of the year, I placed an order for a twin over full bunk bed with drawers. The next day I decided to purchase sheets, so I placed another order for matching twin and full sheets, plus an extra set for the master bedroom. About a week later, I received an email saying my package with the sheets had been delivered, so I check my front door and found a very small package, not nearly big enough for 3 sets of sheets. Once opened, I discovered there was only one set of full sheets in the box. I researched, trying to see if their was a different tracking number for the other sets - nothing. I check the outside packaging for wording such as "package 1 of 2" or something... nothing. Then I noticed the package said it weighed 12 lbs. No way does one set of sheets weigh 12 lbs. So I called customer service and they immediately said "No problem, we will just send you some replacements" Awesome. No trouble at all. Until the next day I get an email saying they are out of stock and will refund my money for the two sets I didn't receive. Not normally a big deal, except I needed MATCHING twin sheets to the full set I received since they were for a bunk bed. Still, not a big deal - mistakes happen. Then, after a few days passed the expected delivery of the bunk bed order, I heard nothing and tracking was giving conflicting information. I called customer service who said they couldn't figure out the conflicting reports, and so they assigned me to a Case Manager to figure it out. I get a call the next day from the case manager who informed me the drawers arrived to the local distribution center, but not the bed. "Hopefully they will find the bed soon, but just in case, I will place another order for you and get a new one shipped. Also, here's a 10% off coupon for your next order to compensate for your troubles". Weeks go by and I finally get a bunk bed delivered. I had requested complimentary in-room delivery since I am now 9 months pregnant dealing with these issues, trying to move my kids around to prepare for the coming baby, and delays have made things worse. But this delivery team "doesn't do that". My husband assembled the bed and it's okay. We go to assemble the drawers that go underneath the bunk bed, and THEY ARE THE WRONG COLOR!!!! The bunk bed is gray, the drawers are brown. I contact the case manager to let her know of the issue and she says they don't even sell brown (which, they do. It's on the website) She contacted the vendor to get gray drawers sent but guess what? BACKORDERED! Who knows now when I will receive the actual drawers. No offers for anything other than a "we're sorry" 10% off coupon for my next order. Will not be shopping Wayfair in the future. No pricing is good enough to deal with this headache on 3 different orders in the same month. "

"I have ordered a couple of things from Wayfair. All were good. Exactly what was promised. But one time I ordered a rug and it came to me looking defective. I called them back expecting to have issues but there were none. They immediately refunded my money. I waited to see if they would send me a label to send back their merchandise but they never did. So I called them back to ask how they would like me to get the rug back to them. They said no it is defective just donate it to a charity. I was blown away. I have never dealt with a company who handled this so well. So I ordered a recliner from them. I just got it today and put it together. I love it! It needs to be worn in. As all new items need to be. But its beautiful and exactly what I asked for. "

I contacted customer service and she ignored my concerns about the wrong items being shipped and that one box had been crushed, opened and almost retap ed before I received it. She said I had ordered the wrong size. I really am sure that I did not order the wrong size and now I have to pay to return the wrong items. I was told I would need to reorder the items. I had purchased these items during a special sale and when free shipping was being offered. All of that will no longer be available. I am glad that I didn't purchase the mattress and chair I had liked. I was going to think about those for a few days but I'm sure that I am done shopping at Wayfair. "So I'm going to be completely transparent about my experience in high hopes that nobody else will go through what I've been through thanks to this company. In late June of last year, I placed an order through their app that you can download via phone. I picked out a few quality looking items and then went to hit the purchase button. It was late. I was tired. It didn't go through but it didn't deny the payment (but I didn't know this yet). I hit the button out of frustration a couple more times and then went to sleep. When I woke up, I tried once again as I lived in Rexburg Idaho at the time and needed these items because nothing home goods related was available to be shopped at out where I was located.
Well, shame on me, I hit the stupid purchase button one more time. Only - this time it went through and so did all my other previous purchases (even though I had closed the app and everything). It charged me for several different orders. Hundreds of dollars that I did not have. I had to wait as they were closed on the weekends but promptly called first thing Monday. Went through customer service, was told I'd be assisted and these things refunded, that nothing should have shipped, and it would be taken care of. Less than 24 hours later - EVERYTHING had been shipped. They couldn't cancel and now they wanted me to be in charge of returning all of these items. So I waited. The packages didn't come in the time they said they would and when they finally did - my neighbor had grabbed them for me as I was out of town. She went to training for military purposes and my packages sat in her apartment with me unaware. The whole time I asked for proof of delivery as they guaranteed me that things had been delivered. My thought was, how could you not have someone sign for nearly a thousand dollars worth of bought material from your site.
I took it to my bank, tried to stop the payments AS WAYFAIR HAD DIRECTED ME TO DO, they refused my claims and after weeks of battling that out won the case and kept my money. I called again once my friend came back and told me she had these things and finally received word that they had known my friend had taken these things for me. I was livid as they didn't express this through the process. Again I thought I spoke to the right person. He swore he'd call me back, that this matter was personal to his heart, and promised me we'd handle it as soon as everything was received. I've yet to be refunded for the money they stole and I've yet to see anything come back into my account. These people are dishonest crooks and will play everything out to their advantage. All around it was horrible timing on my part but this company is a joke. Those things I bought were not worth their money and I regret ever having downloaded the app. I keep it as a reminder - since my orders and the numbers of those orders are still on there. I show that to my friends and family to show the hell they put me through. Things say 'returned' that were never refunded. This company lies and I hope their scheming gets shut down because none of what they're selling is ANYTHING worth the price they put it for."

Please do not cut or rip boxes when opening your package, you are required to return an item in its original packaging.
So I made sure to carefully open and undo everything. Leg had a 3 in chunk out of it. Side piece had the same. Table TOP has a gouge in it. And 4 small chips throughout the whole thing. Don't want to send it back after seeing these reviews so I put permanent marker in the legs and am looking to buy a whole new table. Not dealing with Wayfair/Totally Furniture again. "
