"I ordered several boxes of Freshlook Radiance and Freshlook Colorblend lenses that per the web site were available. I then received an email saying that the Freshlook Radiance Lenses were discontinued and they asked how I would like to proceed. I had requested that the order for the Freshlook Radiance Lenses be cancelled and to fulfill the rest of my order. Several weeks later, I received the Freshlook Colorblend Lenses but I was charged for both these and the Freshlook Radiance lenses. Both my online order status and shipping noticed stated that the Freshlook Radiance lenses were shipped. I have tried calling, live chat, email and still no response. I just want to be refunded for the items I did not and will not be receiving. The charges hit my account a week after they notified me that these lenses were discontinued. Why would they charge me for something they knowingly knew I would not receive? Why do they even have lenses that are MD'd on the website? I am very frustrated and may take legal action if I do not hear back ASAP!! This type of customer service is just not acceptable!"

"Useless customer support. You can wait on hold for ever and they never pick up. Their on-line chat is always down. They could not verify my prescription with my doctor. When I cancelled the order I got an email verifying the cancellation and promising not to charge my credit card. Then I got an email verifying my order and a charge on my credit card. Clearly sales is much more important to them than customer service. "

"Cheapest online store for contacts that I have found. Good customer service too. To reorder a past order, I just sent an email and they set everything up for me to just put in my credit card info and hit enter. Order came to my house soon afterwards. Usually you can find online coupon codes."

"Was a tad bit concerned over the poor recent ratings for this store but my experience has been a positive one on the contacts I ordered. They had the best prices and also free shipping. They responded to my email requests for info on my order. My contacts were delivered in just under 2 weeks; if you are willing to wait that long, then they are a viable supplier. "

"It has now been almost 2 months and I still dont have my contacts. I try and call but all I do is sit on hold for hours waiting for someone to answer the phone. I will never be using this company again and will be sure to tell everyone I know to never use this company!


Also note the time that made this comment and the time they responded. Nothing with them is prompt or on time. As for the free of charge..UPS paid for the contacts that they lost.

"I was not aware that Ciba discontinued Softmate II contact lenses in January 2011. When I attempted to order them from Webeyestore at the end of February 2011, Webeyestore debited my checking account as expected. However, when I sent Webeyestore an e-mail to determine when I could expect the lenses, they sent me back a message saying they were having problems getting the lenses (but still kept my money). I then found out that the lenses had been discontinued. Webeyestore then lied, said they couldn't confirm my prescription and finally released my money several days later. Webeyestore KNEW the lenses had been discontinued so why would they call my eye doctor for prescription confirmation if the lenses are not available?"

"I ordered from webeyestore.com because they had the lowest price for the lenses I needed and they offered free 3 day shipping. According to their website the lenses are shipped the same day as long as they have your prescription. I was in desperate need of lenses because I had run out so this sold me. I emailed my prescription to them the day I ordered, but the order still hadn't been processed until 3 days later. When I still hadn't received a confirmation email or a tracking number I contacted the seller and was told that they couldn't find a tracking number so the contacts would have to be shipped again and that they would get to me in about a week. I mentioned that they advertised 3-day shipping and the representative said that 3-day is impossible since they have to ship the contacts from FL and then repackage them and send them out. I asked him why they indicate on the website that they have 3-day shipping if it isn't even a possibility and he didn't seem to think that there is anything wrong with false-advertising since the shipping is free. In any case, the total time it took for the lenses to arrive was 2 weeks, from a distributor that claimed to be able to provide them in 3 days. I wish I had read the reviews on line prior to ordering because going without contacts for 2 weeks was a real inconvenience."
