"They let me know immediately that the zip and city I had entered did not match. This allowed me to follow up quickly to ensure that the delivery was made on time."

"Not good. Somehow I received a duplicate order. I order 2 items an ash vaccum and a gift basket for the hearth. I received 4 boxes. So I was overbilled $200. When I called to return the 2 items I didn't need, they told me they would send me an email authorizing the return. They would not cover the shipping. They said because I didn't call immediately they couldn't cover the shipping costs. I was traveling for business and didn't notice the error for about a week and a half, I don't think that was an overly long time. The shipping of the packages wasn't good or I may have noticed if they had a comprehensive, professional looking packing slip or invoice included in any of the boxes. They sent me no return label. They said just go to whatever shipping company I wanted and once they receive it they will credit me and that when I send the packages to them I should send the tracking number. That was all the help I got. Not happy and wouldn't use them again irregardless if the products are good. One of the products was a gift basket. It was packed upside down. So when I opened the box I thought it was the box 1 of 2 initially as I was viewing the bottom of the basket. Didn't realize they sent me 2 orders because they were packed so differently."

"I am always skeptical about purchasing something like this on-line. I had a hard time both finding a mantle and an insert that worked they way we envisioned. This insert fit the mantle we had PERFECTLY, it actually couldn't fit any better. As soon as I plugged it in I fell in love with it. Like most electric fireplaces the flames are decent, hard to replicate real flames, but overall the look and feel is exactly what we were looking for. "I ordered a wood stove and supplies from Woodland Direct on 11/10/12. As of today, 12/5/12, I still can't use my stove. They have sent me the wrong supplies, even though I told them it was for a mobile home. They did this more than once. This is the worst burning I've ever gotten from a company I ordered from. I definitely would not recommend them for anything, unless you want a big hassle. Absolutely no good. Worthless. Also, they won't get back with you unless you nag them. Really BAD customer service! Update: Woodland Direct worked with me and came clean on the problems with my stove order. I've been using my stove since December 2012, and it works great! I had to modify the outside air kit for my stove, however. It never would fit, and no one at Woodland could tell me the proper way to install it. Oh well. I had to figure it out for myself."
