"Ordered the Woodland Wood Burning Fireplace Heater - Large grate on a Wednesday and received in on Saturday. So super fast processing and shipping. However, when I opened the box, the sub-box containing the blower motor "rattled." When I took the blower out of the box, 2 screws fell out. Opened the blower up and saw that the screws that held the motor/blow in place came out which pulled and disconnected the wires, bent the wire connectors on the heat sensor and damaged the insulation in the cover. I called Woodland this morning for a question and to give them this feedback....but it was as if I was "bothering" them. I hope that this unit works as described for quite frankly, I'm not enamored by their support so far."

"I ordered a Landman wood cart. The box arrived with no signs of physical damage but it had a very strong smoky smell. Upon opening the box, no pieces were destroyed, but ALL pieces had a thin resinous film that was offensively smoky. The company said that this is normal from cutting the screws. I disagree that all pieces would have this smoky film. I decided to keep the item and give it a try. It has sat outside for over a week now and the cart still stinks. I have emailed the company but have not had any further responses from them. At this point I would recommend that consumers avoid this company. "

"I am generally (so far) happy with the product. The cover is roomy, good for fitting over different lengths of wood. Hard to tell how well it will hold up to the weather, but we'll see as the winter gets going. (I was looking for a product that would last several winters, and ours (NC) are pretty mild, so I hope this will last.) My only complaint is that, the day after I searched around online, found this, and placed my order for two, I got an ad for the exact same product at another store for just over half what I paid at Woodland Dirext, so that was pretty annoying. The delivery was quick, which was a plus. The frame of the rack isn't tight at the joints, so you have to be careful how you set it up before putting on the wood to make sure it's straight, but I don't know that this will be a significant problem."
