"Beware of items that go on sale before you receive your shipment! I called to try to get a credit, before I received my purchase because the item I ordered went on sale and the would NOT honor the sale price or give me a credit for the difference!!!!

"Quick and efficient delivery of a solid core product. I look forward to seeing it's efficiency as I burn about 3.5 cords of wood per year. Nothing I buy from retailers around here holds a "candle to it!" Contact me three months from now and I will give you a better evaluation.

Well now, it's been in heavy use to heat a 3700 sq ft home for the past two months. No sag, just great performance and better heat production than what I am used to. My heat pump never comes on and after an energy audit yesterday, the representative commented on his way out,"You have no idea how much money you are saving with that unit running!" That's the best news I could have ever gotten. I have been in the firewood business for the past thirty years and I know what to place in the hearth. Seasoned red oak, white oak, and hickory will run you out of the house and my sales have been brisk. With a cord selling for $300-375 in my locale, it makes sense to burn natural fuels found on my farm. Thanks for a great product that you market.

"I have not received the item. I have not received a tracking number. I have not received a shipping notification.

I opened a ticket via the company web site to ask about the order. I received an email saying the ticket was opened but have not received a response (that was 3 days ago).

I am not happy with the responsiveness and communication of this company.

"So I ordered a New Phoenix Grill from Woodland Direct, expect delivery in 5 to 7 days like they said, ended up taking 11 days freight. Ok no big deal, putting it together on the Friday morning I received it just to find out I'm missing the Propane regulator that connects the bottle to the grill. I call 11am Friday morning to try and get a part overnight so I can use the Grill for a family function Sat eve. I call customer support. talk to two different women there who have no idea what a propane regulator and hose are, so they try to call their warehouse, with no answer, they leave message etc. Ok so I call back at 2pm trying to see if they got hold of the warehouse, and again no luck, apparently this place is out of the office on Fridays, as so was my sales rep Paul who when I bought the grill was very knowledgeable and helpful. So I leave a message with a supervisor/manager, again no returned call. Ok so today is Monday Oct 24th call 8:30 am talk to another gal who directs me to the gal that is working my case so again leave another voicemail with no returned call. My sales rep still out of the office, so the next gal I talk to tries to refer me to the same voicemail and I refused said I'm not getting off this phone till I get something resolved, and she tries to explain to me she has no knowledge of these parts..... So I Have to tell her to call her warehouse and get something going. Well they say the part is "coming" but don't know if the warehouse has it or if they have to have Phoenix send it to them, then send it to me. I called Phoenix grills back on Friday and they told me their propane units ship with the regulator attached to the control panel, mine just had a brass fitting with a red cap. Phoenix grills told me that Woodland Direct either removed the regulator or converted my grill from Natural Gas to Liquid Propane. But none the less, here I sit with an expensive grill I bought and can't use!!!!! All I can say is horrible customer service, don't return calls, all out terrible experience with this company with what seems like no one even TRYING to make it right..... I'll post another review if I either get the part for my grill or I crush the grill into a ball and send it back...."
