"Still waiting for my order to ship. Ordered October 23rd 2011 it is now November 12th 2011. I called last week and was told this is a busy time but my order would ship on the following Monday November 7th. I have not received a shipping notification and I am still without parts. I left a message as there is no customer service on Saturday. I plan on cancelling my order on Monday. I would not recommend Woodland Direct. "

"Easy ordering online; technician on the phone could speak American English, answered my concerns in a satisfactory way; the items I ordered came in a reasonable amount of shipping time, and they were not damaged in any way. I have not yet installed them at the time of this survey, but they appear to be well made. I am well satisfied with the value of the products I received for the amount of money I spent."

"Sales and Customer Service were very helpful. They researched diamensions for me and also after 24 hours of the order they placed a secondary order and added it to the original thus saving me additional freight charges. The day of installation I needed additional help and the technician was right there on the other end of the phone with answers and explanations on how things connected. They even emailed an additional diagram of how to connect and install the liner. I could not ask for better sales, service and product."

"I really can't comment yet. I ordered an ash vacuum one week ago oday and I have not heard anything about it shipping. I called the company today and the sales person stated he could not help me; that I needed to talk to customer service...which was closed today. He pulled up my order, stated the vacuums were in stock, but there was no tracking number. So bottom line is I have no idea about the product and I'm not feeling real confident about the company who accepted my payment a week ago and hasn't sent the product out. "

"You should tell your sales people of the shipping agreement.

When I purchased my wood stove I was told that the stove would be delivered by a small box truck with tailgate service to my house and not to the curb. I had a long conversation with the sales person about my driveway being flat and 650' long and that the delivery truck had to be small enough (and I emphasized no tractor trailers) to drive down the driveway and unload the stove at my house. I was assured and reassured that this would be the case after telling them of a delivery 3 1/2 years ago of a wood stove to my current house (a steep 1200' driveway) where I was promised a small truck with tailgate service to my house. After many calls and much time it was finally delivered to my house in a small truck with tailgate service.

After many ignored phone calls to Woodland Direct, both messages and to workers, I arranged directly with the shipper to deliver the stove on Monday 11/7/11 with a 28’ box truck (tractor trailer) with a lift gate. The builder of the house will be there to receive and get the stove into the house. I may be there to see the delivery.

I am very disappointed in the misrepresentation of the shipping by the Woodland Direct sales people – I talked with two sales persons before placing the order – and their subsequent lack of response to my phone calls.

Now that I have submitted this review I have gotten the attention of Maegan at Woodland. She has looked into the problem and has done what she could to remedy the delivery problem. If it were not for my builder providing a truck and manpower, I would not have been able to receive the stove or hearth without renting a truck and hiring movers.

My word of caution in dealing with Woodland is to get any delivery requests (or any other requests) in writing. The wood stoves are very heavy and in cases like mine it is necessary to deliver the stove in a small truck with a lift gate. The products they sell are of good quality and value and I recommend Woodland.
