"I have purchased 26 times from Woot (including from the wine and shirt sub-stores). Like many others, I find that when they use FedEx smartPost to ship items it takes a fairly annoyingly long time to arrive. Other than that, I have been 100% satisfied with Woot. I have only had one shipping issue -- a box arrived mangled by FedEx with only 2 of the 3 items inside it, an email to woot resulted in a prompt replacement.
I also greatly enjoy their irreverant product descriptions and find their community forums a great assest in deciding whether or not to purchase an item."
"These guys are great. I have ordered many times from them and you get more than you paid for. The shipping isn't terribly fast, but there is only one shipping option and it is always $5. The shipping is fast enough and usually takes about 5 business days. The products are always new, and usually better than they describe them, because they usually talk down about their products. Great store (if they are selling what you want)."
"They took a week to give me a tracking number for my order. Also their packaging is terrible. My two firewire cards were put in a box with no packing materials whatsoever. Good thing it didn't get slammed around much or the cards would have been broken in pieces."
"These are good people. They stand behind what they sell. In my experience, if it doesn't work, they take it back for a refund, no questions asked.
Note the following when you buy from woot.com:
-some of their items are older or otherwise discontinued models (which is why they are sold at attractive prices).
-beware of anything that includes batteries. Shelf life may have expired.
-some of their items are refurbished (always indicated).
-they have recently started using FedEx Smartpost for shipping small items. As a result, arrival time has gone from about a week to ten days.
Fortunately, it is no longer necessary to log in at midnight (Central Time) to insure getting an item. Generally, most are still available the following morning.
Biggest problem: the "discuss" section for each product. Too many people posting to see themselves in print; hard to sort through to find really good, solid information on the product.
But still a good experience and a good, if unique merchant."
"I have ordered many things from Woot. The most recent order took place on March 21 and was sent out on March 23. Like most Woot things, it arrived in a Woot box.
It worked as described and was great.
I've had customer service issues with Woot before (I received an item that didn't work). While they couldn't replace the item (it was a flying monkey), they refunded my $2. (It was a monkey that came with a crate of wine, the Monkey was valued at $2) - Sad truth was that a lot of people (and myself) ordered that crate BECAUSE of the flying monkey. Don't ask!
The only problem with Woot is that many of their followers are annoying. The forum is becoming more and more useless. Too much whining for a RBoCs. Their weekly contests are great though. It's a fun company and I tend to check Woot daily and do enjoy the Woot offs the best.

"I have 3 or 4 buys from Woot this year. All but one when well. I always feel you will know far more about the compamy if there is a problem than if all always goes well(but that would be nice). On an order for a 512 M MP3 player, Fed Ex dropped the package over the 4 foot wall around my door. Well that is the area my 2 puppies play and they saw the box and thought it was a new toy for them. Yes you have it 'My dogs eat my Woot". OK, I spend about 90 min. on the phone with Fed Ex (Getting Fed UP) then they said the claim had to be put in by the shipper, one short e-mail with photos to Woot, they said they would take care of it. I had a new MP3 player before Fed Ex every got there "stuff" together. Score: Woot 10 Fed Ex 0 (the dogs did not get sick from eating the MP3 player) I will keep ordering from Woot but have it shipped to my office."
"Everything I've ever ordered from Woot! has arrived in a timely manner and has been as advertised (including a Bag-O-Crap). Certainly a cult-store and one needs to pay close attention to exactly what it is that's being sold - lot's of fine print. Think of it as a E-Bay type experience !"
"I have made 15 purchases from Woot since February of last year, and have been fully satisfied with each one. The products were exactly what was represented on the website, the prices were good, and shipping was relatively quick. I've never had to contact customer service, so I can't comment on that. I have recommended Woot to many of my friends, who have also become fans of this site."

Woot failed to ship the product, the ones who did get the computer camera received the wrong camera, another words they showed you one item and shipped a cheaper model. All research has been done to check that this was the case and it is. the picture and model number they displayed at the time in fact was not the item people was getting. I personally never received my shipment and only found that other was getting the wrong model on the forum. They are slow in responding to emails (the only way you can contact them is threw an email that i know of).They made no effort to contact customers that there was an issue, simply waited for the customer to complain when they got the wrong camera or in my case waited till I never received it and for me to email them.
Another thing I have noticed about woot, They remove negative post from the forums. Somebody posted a link to BBB and it was removed. Other post that was negative about their conduct also removed (not all, but several was removed). But they leave all the post that have nothing to do with the Item.

Their prices are almost always the best you can find around. They have some very cool gadgets as well.
