"Got these mice during a woot off and am well pleased. I ordered on thursday, got them on Tuesday. I got my tracking number, and they were already out for delivery.
Very wacky descriptions. I will definately keep an eye out for more bargains.

"Purchased a new HP M535 digital camera this morning and then this afternoon their web site had been changed to refurbished. I have sent e-mails to WOOT about the problem, with no response so far. Blacklist them!"

"Ordered Logitech Bluetooth headsets. Received the headsets loose in a bag with large warning stickers stating "Sold As-Is, NO WARRANTY". Nothing was mentioned on website about these being cheap rejects. These headsets are known for breaking, so never would have purchased if they had told the truth about this version being As-Is rejects. One of the units will not take a charge. Price was only about 10% less than retail boxed currently goes for. Feel ripped off.

Looking through my old reviews to update.
All these headsets broke within a few weeks.
Pure junk.
You will have better luck shopping local garage sales then buying from these guys.

"Great shopping place. Sure, on the "Bag-of-C**p" offer, the server gets swamped and it's hard to order, but that isn't something that will lower my rating of this merchant. The confusion and long order times are part of the BOC experience. For a real-life analogue, think Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving here in the US, the largest shopping day of the year). If you don't get in the store first or if someone is a better runner than you, you don't blame the merchant for it.
Bottom line is, Woot is a fantastic shopping experience. All my orders have gone well, shipped fast and gotten to my front door very quickly.

"Although Woot has a very hardcore (and often derisive) fan base, judging from the active forum posts, neither the company's employees nor their loyal following seem to give a hoot about anything other than their own superiority. In other words, both are primarily concerned with maintaining the status quo, which means that when something goes wrong with the ordering process, Woot will ignore justifiably irate customers in hopes that they will just go away.

For instance, one recent purchase-of-the-day turned into a debacle where many orders were not processed on a first-come-first-served basis (the very essence of Woot's marketing) and--even worse--numerous orders that were initially confirmed simply evaporated from customers' accounts literally overnight with absolutely no explanation whatsoever. Instead of addressing these very relevant issues professionally, Woot employees (and the company's forum fans) instead whine about how good they do considering the high volume of customers who rush to purchase certain items.

I had to send three increasingly accusatory messages to Woot in order to receive one unsigned, terse response in which I was notified that my account had been frozen to prevent me from placing future orders. Note that although I asked for information on how to close my account, I did not ask for it to be done at that time. During future posts to appropriate forums, I was then treated to a barrage of disparaging remarks from the aforementioned hardcore fan base, including one Volunteer Moderator who apologized to forum members for my "latest participation" while indirectly referring to me as "a sad, attention-seeking soul."

Overall, Woot is a fad and novice retailer whose inexperience shows through the immaturity and frequently downright nasty attitude of its more vocal fans and employees when the ordering process does not function properly, as well as its obvious policy of ignoring customers under the guise of "Geeze, Louise, this stuff is so cheap compared to other places, why are you even complaining?" If you don't mind doing business with that kind of retailer, then you'll love 'em. Otherwise, stick with the more respectful and respectable companies.

"I have placed several orders with woot, and have had nothing but good experiences. The order on Dec. 5 was the first time I'd ever had to use woot's warranty (thier term for a "return policy") before. I placed an order for 2 wester digital 250Gb hard drives (which came to my house FAST, btw) and one of them was just fine, the other would not format. I ended up dragging my feet in getting this taken care of, but when I finally did get around to contacting them, they were VERY promt at replying to email. Since I live nearby, I asked if it would be possible to bring the drive in for replacement. They had no problems with this at all. This is VERY unique for a discount etailer and I was pleasantly suprised. I wasn't able to make it in at the time I had hoped (darn work!) but when I did arrive, one of the service guys came out after about two minutes of waiting. He had a box in his hand with my name on it and I was on my way. Let me re-state that: The service department went out of thier way to take care of me. The part was already pulled and ready to go for me, and the service guy explained to me that the shipper that they used was not as gentle as he should have been with the boxes.

I will MOST DEFINITELY be continuing to buy from woot and am just thrilled at the post-sale support I got. Keep up the good work, guys!

"Have had a total of 5 orders from woot including this latest one. Products can take a couple of days to ship, but all orders have been in working order with no problems so far. Price is always good.

Have never had to use customer service so I can't comment on this aspect of the company.

Have ordered, DVD set, refub harddrive, speakers, MP3 player, and new harddrive so far.

"Very bad experience. The item didn't get shipped for 4 days (within their claimed 5 business days shipping range, funny) and it came defective! Talked with the manufacturer tech support and no hope.
